I'm a little hesitant to post this because it's as hard to believe as what I retell in my Taming A Street Teenager entries, even for me!

I'm a member of a Pokemon-related social media group, and we're the tightest-knit online community there is! I'm not saying BZPower is bad, but the Pokemon group is so close that we're pretty much family!

One friend on there apparently has a talent with textiles, including making soft toys. He agreed to make me a large army of plush night elves and ancients from Warcraft 3! He says he'll make them as similar to the Warcraft 3 models as possible.

Naturally, if it is for real, it WILL be expensive. Over a grand AUD including shipping, no doubt! Shipping would be relatively cheap because both of us, as with most members, live in the same state. Despite that, I will likely have to fork over a lot.

I know the old saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is", but we both know that if he doesn't follow through he will probably be banned from the club, and criminal action taken. If he does follow through, I will post them on [Do not mention sites with commenting systems- Takuma Nuva], and then here. Either way, watch this space! At the very least, I will edit this post with the price when I can.

The hard part to believe is where anybody can justify spending that much money on plush toys.

Also, I'm not entirely up to scratch on my Australian law, but I'm pretty sure breaking deals, club-related or not, is typically a civil matter.

Different strokes for different folks, I'd have to say. It all depends on your hobby. I mean, look at me. I just spent over a grand builidng my new computer. There's a lot of people out there who would think I'm the biggest moron on the planet for doing that.

There's nothing wrong with club deals, but if it involves plushies, then that's straight to jail no second chances. There's a zero tolerance policy on plushy fraud.

Murder is a different issue, you get a warning.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people would spend that kind of money making their own supercomputer, gamers especially.

That, I think, is more the cost of the raw materials. It's all going to something (and computers can get pretty pricey, so it's not like that would be considered an unholy amount of money). Here it sounds like an exorbitant amount for, from what I understand, services rendered more than anything else. At some point, I would imagine that the desire to have that many plushies does not outweigh the amount of money you're going to spend (especially in one fell swoop).

And their toilets flush backwards, too!

What a crazy place.
