Apparently games have changed a lot over time...

Alternative title: I have no idea what I'm doing =/

Remember when I talked about a veery old game that I bought back in June? Right, that one.

I haven't gotten anywhere so far. It's simply confusing, and as much as tutorials sometinmes annoy me, I realised that in a way they do make sense, especially for complex games... ah well.

So now I want to give it another try, which means that I studied the handbook/guide/however you call it, printed out relevant parts (like the list of available weapons/armour because you get absolutely no information in-game), will generally try to read evrything more carefully, and actually try to find out what the heck I am supposed to do. Or I'll just end up running around without a plan or anything again. =/

Wish me luck. x3

Best of luck, Taka! ^^

I have no idea what that game of yours is, but I am making Pita bread which is currently rising (should be ready in about an hour) and I've updated the cats' food area. ^^ Huzzah for late night/early morning productivity! 8D (It's currently 5:34 AM here. XD)

Anyway, I can totally relate to older games being impossibly difficult. Namely the first Zelda game ever. e.e I got it recently and I have yet to find a single town. =/ Just battling random pixel monsters and trying not to die... which turns out to be INCREDIBLY difficult to do. D=

Ah yes the bane of old video games. Most of them were pretty much notoriously difficult, many with no lives, no save points. One hit and it was all over.

Of course now people complain that games are too easy.

Dungeons And Dragons: Video Game Style.

The funny part is when you consider D&D already has a video game of itself officially. =P

Onarax: Some are indeed to easy. =P Some others? Not so much.(I'm looking at you, VVVVVV, and Veni Vidi Vici in that game.)

Tekulo: That's because there are no towns in the first game. =P Towns didn't get introduced until Zelda 2, and didn't regain prominence until about OoT, with a village for every race.
