Trijhak

Firstly, we're going back to 2009 and 2010 for some insightful looks into the brilliant posts of my 13/14 year-old mind.

We're still a long way off from 1,000,000/One Million

And I'm a newb. : :)

First post on a non-BZP forum. Had one of those extremely common 'Count to a [LARGE NUMBER GOES HERE].

dnt wry y dont hve t gmga vrs

I'd explain the context of this but I think it's better left incomprehensible.

please no smap and no falming, or bacskeat mdoracing.

Apparently I moderated a forum at one point. Or was messing around. Attempting to be incomprehensible through bad spelling seemed to be one of the things I liked to do, as it amused me at the time. In retrospect, it looks stupid... and I still laugh, though at my own stupidity this time, rather than my terrible attempt at humour.

Good to see you, explosive cube of doom.

...Could see this being said in G&T today, to be honest. Though I've since forgotten who the explosive cube of doom was. Can't really recall any people that were explosive and cubes that doomed things.

There I went through alternative names.

Honestly, I've gone through a lot of names on the internet. Let's pull up the chronological order!

Firstly, I was kongu11. For I was 11 when I joined BZPower, and it was a shortened version of my LEGO account's name: kongu11925. I only added the 925 because 'kongu11' was already taken on LEGO.com. Contrary to what you may think, I was not the eleventh of the Kongu sets. Kongu was my favourite Inika because green and my favourite Mahri because green and dual cordak blasters. I WAS ELEVEN, OF COURSE I LIKED CORDAK BLASTERS.

Then, I became 'Toa Crisp: Toa of Snacks'. Without capitalisation, except for 'Toa'. Crisps are... yeah, I don't need to explain this. Everyone already knows. I also put dashes around it, -which- seemed to be the -fashion- of many people on -BZPower- at the -time-. Then I became 'Toa crisp phantoka'. Why a Toa of snacks would be a spirit of the sky is beyond me, and probably you too.

Then I became Slaper. I recall arriving at that because too many people were 'Toa ____' and so I wanted something more 'unique', and to be the way to get a unique name was to type randomly into the keyboard deleting every third letter. Then I became more variants of 'Slaper', such as 'Zlaperx' because I wanted more unique letters. Then I shortened it to 'Zlap' and then 'Z.L.A.P.' and I don't recall exactly why. Then I became 'Zlapeq' because I had already used the letter X and, in my mind, it would be unfair to leave out the wonderfully unique letter 'q'. As if it beckoned to me in my dreams or something.

Then I became 'Rahksi of Heat Vision'. I'm not sure, but I think it may be around this time I first joined a Mafia game in G&T. The name was available and I wanted to commemorate the ending of G1 BIONICLE since back then, it was like the thing that had sustained you had suddenly withered away and died and then BZP would be begging LEGO for BIONICLE and it would be a dark age of ZERO FACTORY and MEGAR BLORKCS, and hoped that one day LEGO-NUI would descend from the heavens, carrying us, the ones called the BZPers, to this website. We were without purpose, as LEGO had taken BIONICLE away after being coerced by its evil brother MEGAR BLORKCS, and we hoped that one day, LEGO may give us purpose by giving us BIONICLE once again. Okay, that's a total exaggeration. I didn't react that strongly to the news of BIONICLE G1 ending.

Then I became kongu11925 because it was my LEGO account's name. And then I became KonguZlap, because it was both my off-site name at the time and my LEGO Universe name (I also had a few variations of it). This was in 2010 and I had alpha-tested and was beta-testing LU under a non-disclosure agreement. By the way, I recall seeing SPIRIT in the Beta (or at least someone under the same name, in all-caps, so, by the way, this is FIVE YEARS AND ONE MONTH LATE, but here's a belated "Hi, SPIRIT!".

Then I became 'A Timid Person'. An apt description of myself then, and an apt description of myself now. Still Timid, 'timid' being the next name I chose. Honestly, that sums me up when it comes to real life. Timid. Unfortunately. On a more positive note, around this time I started to get tired of people calling me 'KonguZlap' because I really hated how half it wasn't really 'my' name, it was a character's name, as in, not my own. So...

...I became Skrief! I had that name for a long time off-site. It became my default name. It was pronounced 'skrife', rhyming with 'life' and 'strife', even if it looks like it should rhyme with 'reef' and 'grief'. That was... an error on my part. I originally intended for it to be 'Skreif' but disliked it that way. I did discard this name altogether eventually, mostly because of deciding I liked 'Skreif' more and I wanted a less ambiguous name. The name I next came up with is not Pulse. I never chose that name for myself. But I imagine the related names I did choose had an impact on what people called me.

I did become Impulse! You can see the connection to 'pulse'. Actually, I don't think people called me Pulse at this time, not yet. That comes later. I was fearful of being called 'Imp'. I did not and still do not like being called 'Imp'. And then, some of you probably remember 'An Imploding Impulsion'. Does that make any sense at all? I was thinking about and thought 'doesn't really'. I came to that conclusion myself and changed it to... "An Edible Explosion". I seemed to like my alliterative names at the time. I ended up with that name for six months because, in my eternal wisdom, I decided to test the limits of the name rules by changing my name to '‱³'. It was stupid of me.

And then I became 'Negative' because... I thought it was cool. That's the only reason. Let's go forward. I then became Pulsate. Then Pulse. This is when people starting called me Pulse. I changed it to Pulse after noticing people were finally calling me one, consistent name: Pulse. No doubt related to my earlier names of Impulse, An Imploding Implosion and my then-current name of Pulsate. They all had at least four letters in common.

Then I became Pulsating Explosive, which I'm pretty sure all of you still remember. I think BIONICLE Hitman had released around this time and I had been inspired by one of its methods of killing: Explosives! I liked explosives. They explode. (WELL DUH) Then I became Pulse again.

Then I became 'Trijhak'. That's my name for most off-site things. Well, one of them at this point. But it's the one I prefer the most. I came up with it years ago and I tried to make sure absolutely nobody else on the English-typing internet had it as a username, unlike with Skrief which seems to be actually fairly common. And I made sure it has various ways of pronouncing it that are all correct. I think the only thing it matches is a card game in Luxembourg. At least, I think it was Luxembourg? It was definitely something rather obscure. People here seemed to be surprised at it and called me things like 'Trizzlejack' and other things that rhymed with it. I then became Pulse Trijhak in case anyone was uncertain that Pulse and Trijhak were the same person. I can confirm once again that they are both me and I am both of them. (or am I...?)

I then became Pulsating Cheddar, then KITTENS FOR FISTS, then I HATE PUNS, then You Have 24 Hours. You all know why! I don't need to explain those ones.

Speaking of things with 24 hours, I have now defined 24 hours as the time until I get to change my name again, even if it is a week longer than what you define as 24 hours.

Which also means you have what I define as 24 hours to suggest me names! That was the entire point of this blog entry. The above is a lure, like on a fishing rod, and you are fish, flopping around out of the water. Wait, no, that's a bad analogy... if you were fish, you'd be suffocating by now! Okay, how about... the above was a treasure, you are a heroic/villainous/neutral adventurer, and I am the annoying thing made the above look like treasure, leading you into a trap, and now you must suggest me names to leave because of a reason such as 'this is an analogy and we don't need to go into this!'. That might be a worse one.

Just suggest me names before we end up in an eternal loop of analogies. I have no idea why I bolded that but maybe you should suggest me names.

'Voltex, Toa of Confusion'

Luroka, I will not take another member's name. Also, if you wanted to confuse, then surely you would not add 'Toa of Confusion' on the end? That'd be a major give-away.

Considering how many times you bolded it...

"Suggest Me Names"

You really like going for the names that are from blog entries themselves, don't you? Conversely, here's a name I suggest for you: '2015 Toa Personality Quiz'

If I wasn't part of some weird Bravely Default cabal, I would totally do this.
