no seriously six boxes, no shinies, nothing. used masuda method and everything and i got jack all from it. the games refuse to give me shinies ever...but for some reason have given me pokerus twice...

It took me 25 boxes to get a shiny Phantump. Twenty five!

Ok, that's a lie. I didn't get a shiny Phantump, I got three, like all at once, when I got to box 25. Friggin' RNGs.

Yeah, getting rid of those 740+ non-shiny Phantumps sure was a thing...

It wasn't in a row, I think they were separated by a few, probably. Apparently I got the first in my 733rd egg, and I hatched a grand total of 748. So they may have been spaced out a bit, but pretty close around each other. By that point I already had all the eggs sitting in my box and if I remember correctly  I was just grabbing them at random. Dunno. Sure freaked me out though.
