what if instead you could use your ears as wings for your head, and detach your head from your body. then, as your disembodied head flies around you fire off your missile eyebrows at your foes.

It's all fun and games until someone sees a flying ear and decides it'd be fun to blow an air horn in it.

Our inner ear isn't designed for that, so our hearing would be variably impaired. Great job, you just made 100 different ways to hear incorrectly.
