It's been almost 10 years, I'm totally free to start quoting Portal again, yeah?

Little bit of a catch-up from basically all of 2016..

I've been super duper busy being a human bean out there in the world, schoolin' and workin', messing up terribly and learning from my mistakes but also trying new things and finding a lot of good out there in the world. I'm entering my final year of college, so I've begun working on my thesis film this summer! What a doozy this project is gonna be. Contrary to everything I thought I knew about myself, it ended up not being about robots, or space, or magical robots in space (though it was a pretty close call!).

I forget how strict the blog guidelines are about the whole no religion/politics on BZP rule, so I'll be very broad about it. I've been getting much more involved in my religious community, and being more active in LGBTQ+ spaces and events. Last week I officially came out about my LGBTQ+ identity to everyone on facebook, so that's been big and very liberating. Recent tragedies that we've all heard about over the past few days, weeks, and months have been very hard on me, and slowly pushing me to be more vocal and active for the people and things I love.

I just got back from a big 5-6 week trip, so I'm finally going to be able to get back into my groove at home and get things done in the coming months! Looking forward to catching up on all the 2016 Bionicle stuff that I've completely missed out on, and hopefully pick up a few sets! All I've been able to do this year is watch Journey to One on Netflix and briefly skim the BZP Front Page news every week, and quickly peek into the blogs every now and again. I'm happy to see this place hasn't fallen apart without me I'd really like to get back to making fan content for Bionicle again, it's been far too long; it's such a passionate thing for me, I don't know how I forget about it most of the time but get so excited when I remember it again. Tohkann's animations from many years ago really inspired me as a kid, and now he's at it again, so I'm going to work on trying to find the time to relax and make fun Bionicle stuff while working on my film c:

Hopefully I'll be active on BZP again and find the time to get back into the swing of things here. I've missed you all while I was away, I really have! Hope everyone is doing well!
