Cynicism, Solicitations, And Lackluster Finals.

Yep, that's right. My entry, ________________, [is going] to the finals in BBC #49. While that itself guarantees me a prize and at least 5th or 6th place, I would like to score as high as possible here.

Therefore, can you please vote for me and reply in the final poll here? This is extremely urgent, and I need your votes desperately if I'm going to do well here.

Thanks a lot. You're a good friend, pal.

No, I will not vote for you. Because you solicited me. That's not how the game works!

Also, I feel very apathetic towards the Finals this contest. The entries that made it I feel are very lackluster, and am genuinely (and sadly) surprised that they made it to the Finals. I can think of a better MOC in every poll that was held that these beat that should have made it instead.

Ergo, I withhold my vote from this contest, as I do not reward lackluster entries in a contest with a vote.

Also, I took my last Final today. Now it's summer break. Youipee.

Is it August yet?

How you didn't at least make it to the semi finals I'll never know...I feel bad for you and your marvelous creation. I did vote for you though.

I agree with every word you said, DV.

Also, Finals suck...I'm taking the SAT's tomorrow. Not as bad as college finals, but still pretty bad.

Quite frankly, some of the entries that made it to the finals are amazing. The armored protector, Koruuda...

Somehow, I sense that you only feel this way because you yourself did not even make it past preliminaries.

Of course, how silly of me! Having won five contests, I'm of course just hating on the Finalists because I'm not there. You know, after participating in at least half of these contests, I'm still unable to cope with an early exit.

How ridiculous of me!

Maybe, haven't seen any of the earlier contests.

I didn't vote either. If the armor protector wasn't held together by rubber bands though, I might have voted for it. ;)

Somehow, I had a feeling someone would make this accusation...

And the entries do seem rather lackluster. For some reason I'm not feeling the hype I usually do when I look at the finalists. And I wasn't fond of the idea to begin with.

I don't understand how Koruuda beat both you and the Godfather. All it is Toa-sized Matoran with a hood and fingers.

That's what I was thinking. All it really had was a good pose. But I've seen people vote for some bad stuff for worse reasons.

I still don't see what's wrong with using rubber bands to hold parts together...

Anyway, if someone has to ask for people to vote for them, they obviously don't think their entry is good enough to get votes by itself. Which says quite a lot, really.

9) The contest is open to all BZP members, and voting is open to all BZP members to participate in even if they did not enter an MOC. "Advertising" your MOC is fine by making a signature or avatar reminding people to vote for you, but mass-PMing is frowned upon. So is advertising your MOC in someone else's thread. Spamming may result in proto loss or even post-count reductions ... don't do it.

Straight from the BBC rules topic. It isn't illegal, per-say, but it is "frowned upon".

I think that the BBC staff should look into this a bit more.

I voted for What?, but that's only because I thought it was the best in the pole, not my favorite MoC.
