Now that I have your attention...

If Le is the prifix for Air, then why doesn't it appear in Phantoka? And does Ka mean Spirits Of? Because those are the only letters the words have in common.

*confusion*

Look at it this way: "run", "dash", and "bolt" all mean the same thing, correct? So why can't "Le" and "Phan" both be air? Same goes with "Mata", "Iden", and "Toka". Also remember that they are different meanings of the word "air" and "spirit" ;)

"Un", as the prefeix, generally means to take something back, to undo, but theres still an "un" in "underwear".

Hey, what is under there. *points randomly*

Haha you said underwear. :P

Since when did Lego still use abbreviations that meant stuff in Maori? You+FAIL=Truthiness. Did that make sense? O_____o

Pwobably because "Phanto" sounds like "Phantom". And in ancient Egypt, "Ka" was some kind of spirit.

Not that I trust Wikipedia…

Synonyms, in all likelihood, or they could be related words for the same thing – air, aether, the winds, the skies – that get anglicized into the same word. It's quite possible that they're just two different words for exactly the same thing with a subtle difference less renderable in English.

As for ka at the end, I imagine it's something like how we say "the powers that be" or such (often-piratey) things, where "powers" is a metonymy for those who have power – the gods, or, in this case, the spirits.
