Welcome to Bunda's Blog Based Creations Contest #2: Oh, What Marvelous Things!

That's right! Finally, I've decided to start the next contest! The theme? Make something marvelous... like the griffin... the centaur... or the unicorn... All these beasts of legend were mixed up, and your mission is to make up another mixed beasty! Mix the attributes of any two(+) real-world creatures into your MOC. Let your imagination run wild! There will be two categories: One for made up creatures, and another for cyptids/mythical mix-ups.


Contest Specific Rules
1) Bionicle Rahi do not count, and you may not mix/use them in your MOC.
2) You must mix at least two real-world creatures in your MOC. You may mix more, just make sure it doesn't become muddled.
3) A human may be one of the creatures.
4) Do not mix two similar creatures, such as a chimp and a gorilla, or a house cat and a lion.


Normal Rules
1) No custom or painted parts. Duh.
2) No entry may be published prior to the beginning of this contest.
3) One entry per person, one MOC per entry.
4) Entry must be 75% Technic/Bionicle.
5) The background may be edited, but not the MOC. Color correction and brightness adjustments are legal.

If I missed one, all the other basic BBCC rules apply.

Like I could have a... Serpent, Armadillo, Mole, Dragon, Praying Mantis, Bat, Three-headed thing? 'Cause if not, I need to start over. >_>

 

EDIT: That's just a rough estimate. I'm pretty sure there's more in there. Like Knife, eel, and robot to name a few.

Building a Hippogriff is officially impossible.

 

For me.

 

Could I build a Sasquatch?

 

It's probably the most Canadian creature, mythical or not, that you'll find (other than the beaver, perhaps).

 

Although it's not two or more creatures mixed, so I might add wings to it or something.

It depends on how you define "goblin", "dragon", and "elf".

 

Just read through the rules again. They aren't that complex. :)

edit: this is about 1/100th of the monsters that are there but thier the ones i think could be legal for this.

are yeti's ok too?

Most of those would be alright, but before you ask me any more questions, ask yourself this:

 

Does my idea have the attributes of two or more creatures?

 

If yes, your entry is fine. If no, your entry is not, and you need to think up something else.

My tarantula hawk wasp (that's one animal)/vampire bat is turning out well. I just need to put on some black toes on the other leg and I'm done.

 

I assume a tarantula hawk mixed with a vampire bat is okay?
