Here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for! The second episode of Toast Busters has started and I can only hope that it lives up to your expectations! I can't say yet exactly how often the new chapters will be released, but I'll do my best. In a worst case scenario, I'd have to temporarily close my comics topics until it was done, but we'll wait and see what happens first. I do ask that you use the right-click>"save target as" if you intend to watch the movie multiple times so that we don't overdo it on Brickshelf's generous bandwidth. Also, if you have a slower internet connection, please let me know and I'll upload lower file-size versions for you. So, what are you waiting for? Start watching!

 

 

08/01/08: So, this being the first day, I'm putting up links for the Teaser Trailer and the first part of the movie. Some of you have already seen this, but for those who haven't, enjoy. And yeah, I know there's really not much to it, but it's only the opening crawl so please just keep your shorts on for Karzahni's sake. Besides, Satogo is still on vacation and I'd hate to start anything major without him. ;) I have the second part done and I'll be posting it in no more than a week. More likely sooner. Enjoy!

 

08/08/08Okay, so this got out later than I thought, but I kept to my promise and posted it in no more than a week! Today I bring the first actual piece of the story. It also gives you an idea of how the animation will be. I actually made this part quite some time ago so my animation might be up a few notches since then. In any event, I really can't tell you when I'll even be able to work on the next part. This is the exact reason why I'm posting this in my blog and not a forum topic. No revival dates. :P So, enjoy the next part.

 

10/10/08 After quite a lag, I finally got the gumption to make the next part of the movie. Hopefully this project is starting to live up to expectations. I decided not to wait for the software to arrive to start on the next part. Anyways, this part has a couple sound effects and three different music tracks. Let me know how well they work out. Also, once the movie is done and I make the credits, I'll of course list the names of all the music and probably sound effects too for those who might want to know where to find something similar for a movie of their own.

What was the WIN music in that?

Which one? The teaser trailer used a clipping of "Hero" from the first Spider-Man soundtrack sung by Chad Koeger and Josey Scott. The music for the Opening Crawl was a music clipping from Bionicle Heroes. Other music in the works will include clips from the first National Treasure soundtrack and maybe some others. I'm confident that the music in the movie will please greatly.

Aww. That was just the thing you showed me, the Toast Busters, and some other guy that one time.

 

Anyway, nice crawl. Let me guess, you used that one Erase In video effect from Windows Movie Maker? I think I can use that program, but I'm not fond of downloading the parts.

 

And I finally had time to look at the teaser trailer. Awesome! Very nice and fitting. One day, you must teach me the effects you use. I don't even know how to do that border thing!

That preview video was so good that I watched it thirty more times. Either that or I didn't have anything else to do or didn't feel like doing what else I had to do.

 

I'm glad you didn't start anything big, because I was gone from last Thursday to yesterday.

Well, I was expecting something different, but you're using MNOLG, which is very limited. It would've been nice if you made a more detailed scene of the real world part, but you know. Nice job, Takuma.

 

By the way, are you putting up episodes weekly?

Anyway, I figured you'd have someone do the voices, which made me panic because I'm worried someone would pronounce my name wrong (like "GUR-lick-ee", not ger-LICK-ee"). That's pretty cool, 'cuz who wouldn't want to see the Toast Busters move?

 

And, I liked it because it was 100% Toast Busters!

Yeah, I know this isn't coming out as fast as you guys would like, but I'm cramped for time right now. I mean REALLY cramped. But I'm planning to get a laptop within the next month-ish so that will hopefully mean I have more time for this. Either way, I think I'll start on the next part tonight. Despite how late it already is... :guilty:

I love the whole concept of the black-screen dancing thing. That was awesome.

 

So this is where Steak Boy and the TNToran meet?

 

Oh, and my guess is you either got the first graphic novel, or you dug out an antique Bionicle comic. My money goes on the first one. (And yes, that is my favorite comic book. Too bad the pages are falling out. :( )

No, I don't need to get any of the graphic novels. I've been getting Bionicle comics through the LEGO club magazine ever since they first came out. I still have every one of them, most are in pretty good condition too. The very first one though, yeah, it's kinda rough. There's no pages falling out, but the cover did come off. :(

Nice new part! I especially liked the "It's on" part, and when you put in Greg Farshtey saying "To be continued."

 

And if you guys need the Plushie of Power, I think you should start on Majhost. Then find the user called "takumalight". Then look in a folder marked "BZPower", and in another folder marked "TNToran", then in one marked "Sheet", and look in a file called "tnt_004.png". You'll see it's with me and Blade Titan. But we're somewhere in the charred forest, so good luck looking for us in that maze.

 

And I know it's probably not like that in the real story. I just felt like saying it. :P

I've definitely not forgotten about it, but I've just got too much going on right now to make the next part. I'll try to do it as soon as I can, but that's all I can manage.
