Oh, well then, if a couple of blog entries talk about it, then it must be true...

I'm not ignoring the countries in South America or Latin America or Canada, but I live in the United States and I'm still going to call myself American. :usa:

Saying I am an United States of American doesn't sound right.

Saying I'm an United Statesian doesn't sound right. Sounds fake.

Saying I'm a citizen of the United States of America takes like 30 seconds longer then it should.

I never said I wasn't American because the country is part of America. I just said the US isn't America.

Haha, coincidence.

For the most part the U.S. is North America (Meh, I tend to be suckish at these things ) aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnndddd that make me a North American versus South American, or Central American =P

Despite these things I still call myself American... cuz I dun like typing "North" and "United Statesan" is too long, and I just dun feel like remembering the dots in between "U" and "S" =P

*Yes I am that lazy =P*

Aoran: Our Australian Cousin? XD

And yes, Toaraga, we know about the technicality. But to be honest, Latin Americans and South Americans don't necessarily go walk around saying they're American. In fact, we're the only ones who do :P -Swert

"Proud to be an oven!"
And that'll be my new campaign slogan. But then again, I'm more of a dryer man, as seen in my staff photo. :P

What would that make Australia then?

They are our pet.

That we keep on a leash.

No, Australia is that tall guy in the group with the broad-brim hat and the crocodile strapped to his back.

Oh, and there's nothing wrong with calling the United States of America 'America' for shorthand, or calling its citizens 'Americans.' It is commonly accepted vernacular and to rally against it would not only be futile, but folly.

Who said I'm rallying? Rallying involves effort, and I just don't have that kind of motivation.

Oh great, now I'm going to see a face on the East Coast from now on... it really does look as if there could be a face. Freaky. O_o
