Clear Sky looks like a boss monster.

Make some sort of unique head out of totally random parts. Also, make one arm some sort of anchor-launcher type thing, and the other a Biiiig hand.

For the thing on the arm you hate so much, why not try one of those... whaddayacallem, I dunno any actual Lego terms.... one the Star Wars Rogue Shadow? Right above the spherical cockpit thing, look in the full view, there are those two smooth, black, kinda triangular things? Putting something like that on there might work.

Tempest is System with a bit of Technic. Jumbled too, yet you used system how is this?

Clear Sky is so cool. I suggest making a huge claw and body cockpit like Grand Titan.

Tempest looks like a mini-boss. Like, you fight it once, then you fight it a bunch in the last level.

Clear Sky should have a big gun somewhere, like in the middle. Like Wrack said, then you have boss monster.

You do know that you're not actually supposed to link directly to Flickr, right? You have to deeplink to the image, not link to the Flickr page. Otherwise, it violates the advertising policy, cause of the commenting and the notes and such.

Linking to Flickr is fine. The only time you really need to do that is when you're posting up your entry picture for a BBC contest, because cracking everything open and grabbing an actual picture-link is one of those tiny little inconveniences I'd rather not have and is easily avoided. Nothing wrong with Flickr itself, though.
