Adventurer Posted January 17, 2009 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Tell me- is this Soviet Union where China, the USA, Ireland, and Antarctica used to be? Now it's a big green square with "Union of Soviet Socialist Republicans" written in the middle. Unless your map is from the future! So... we're in the past? Wow.... ~EW~ Woah. Link to comment
Little Miss Krahka Posted January 17, 2009 Well, on the map on my wall, there are no Great Lakes, Antarctica and India isn't exactly a peninsula. Of course, the map on my wall is from 1544, so um, yeah. The Soviet Union thing is also a great way to tell if a work of science fiction is old! They'll inevitably mention the Soviet Union going on like nothing's wrong, right up to the very end. Link to comment
EmperorWhenua Posted January 17, 2009 And if the past is the future and the present is the past, then that means we'll never see tomorrow and we'll always live today! ~EW~ Link to comment

Sesquipedaliac Posted January 17, 2009 This reminds me of a radio drama I heard from early 1942 (the beginning of America's involvement in World war Two). Someone was going to buy a globe, and another person said "Well, you better hurry up if you want one with Japan on it." Link to comment
