I agree. Don't eliminate a college from your choices just because you don't think you'll be able to afford it even though you really love it, it has the exact program you're looking for, etc. You can always apply for scholarships to help lessen the cost. Even the small ones, like $500, especially when you get a bunch of them can really add up and help quite a lot for fees.

Just don't choose a place just because you have friends going there as well. I think that's been the downfall for a couple of people I know because they only reason they went to a certain college was because they didn't want to move away from their friends, but at the same time, the college didn't have what they needed to further their education.
