I hate how whenever someone says anything good about apple they get *censored* by a bunch of 13 year old *Censored*s that have never used macs in their lives

I'm not saying one OS is better than the other, because they aren't better or worse than each other, they're equally terrible. But all I'm saying is this man is right. KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU GO AND FLAME.

I use Apple, Windows, and Ubuntu and out of the three...

they all suck hard =/

My thoughts exactly. Hence why I endorse a use of all three. Let's you at least make up for some of the flaws of each, rather than being stuck with one.

I used some of my high school's Apple laptops and disliked them greatly, but that was probably more of a grown preference of Windows than the quality of Apple. So any complains are based on minimal experience. Ha. :P

I've worked professionally with the iMac and normal PCs.

Now, the OS each have their ups and downs. While Windows is a bit complicated in some areas Apple was a bit too artsy (in a "look but don't touch") kind of way.

But I prefer PCs cause I can't live without right-click.

Apple has a good marketing scheme.

Unfortunately I can't say the same for their computers.

Every. EVERY Mac I've ever used has crashed on me at least once and frozen up countless times.

I've used Macs for a good ten years now, and I've never had one crash or freeze or fail to work in any way (I can't say the same for the PCs I've used). Luck of the draw I guess :shrugs:

Pretty much, yeah.

Oh, and that marketing scheme I was talking about? Defamation and lying. Recently saw an add revolving around a line of "PC"s removing themselves as they didn't fit the woman's needs and then eventually she said "No crashing, viruses and easy to use" and they all left.

This is incorrect and a very deplorable commercial for several reasons;

1. Computers only crash if you tell them to.

2. Viruses can hit any computer.

3. Mac does not have as intuitive an interface as they (and their users) like to claim they have.

Someone should be taking their own advice.

Quoted for truth.

Also, this one is puzzled as to the rationale that would make one's own superior expertise on a subject a valid defense for attacking others of lesser awareness. :???:

1. I've seen PC's lock up and crash just from starting up, which, correct me if I'm wrong, is something that any computer should be able to do without crashing.

2. True, but they only hit the type they're written for. A virus that can infect a PC will be unable to infect a Mac, and one that can infect a Mac is unable to infect a PC. That's because the base coding for each are completely different. Virus creators know that more people use PC's than Mac's, so they write their viruses using the PC code much more often, so that's why PC's are so much more easily infected.

3. The Mac interface has stayed essentially the same for years, but, if you look at all the different versions of Windows that have released, you'll see that each gets closer and closer to the Mac interface style. Microsoft keeps adding and changing things to make their Windows more like the Mac OS.

1. I've seen Mac's crash from idling, which, correct me if I'm wrong, is something that any computer should be able to do without crashing.

2. Actually, that's only partially correct, a made for mac virus can infect PC and a made for pc virus can infect Mac, it's just the effects are irregular and generally don't show a noticeable difference if you have more than 1kb of ram.

3. You'll have to excuse me, but what? Vista is nowhere near Mac's interface, and neither is Windows 7 (from what I've seen). You may be referring to rocketdock and the like (as for me I use EmergeDesktop) which are just visual fixes for people who want to use them and most likely people use a Mac interface on a Windows computer because they personally enjoy the interface, but don't want the hassle of owning/purchasing a Mac.

I'm laughing at how many peopel are missing the point of this entry.

Wow.

If you're referring to me, I got the point entirely, I just preemptively realized how many people wouldn't get the point.

Wait, what? So you got the point but decided to ignore it because you didn't think other people would get the point?

Yes.

It makes perfect sense.
