How's 'Βout A Little Ninja Mono On Iron Mode?
Time to rev things up for the blog contest.
So, I tossed around a number of ideas for my theme. My original plan was going to be something along the lines of David Cook or Daughtry with some song reviews and a new Bionicle Music Video. After being unable to adequately find said animations in wmv/mpg format, I was forced to go another route...
Ergo, the theme here is the amazing relationship between two of the best things in the world of media: music and video games. And what better way to display it than a video game based on all forms of music itself?
AudioSurf is an amazing Indie game available for download on Steam. Unlike most "music games" such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band which focus on such things as the melody and the notes, AudioSurf is more about the beat and the rhythm. There's nothing quite like traveling down a track shaped to your favorite songs grabbing colored blocks all the way to rack up the points.
Over the course of the next week or so I'll be going a little more in-depth into the game of AudioSurf as well as the best music from some of my favorite video games. For now though, go ahead and enjoy this little five minute video montage I put together showing both of these in all their glory.
Size: 167 MB

Er, having some troubles with the video upload. Seems like neither majhost nor brickshelf want to take it. I'll just bump this entry when it's working. Might need to lower the file size too...
Update: Reducing File Size to just under 100 MB and trying a Photobucket :annoyed2: upload.
Update: Photobucket upload worked. View the video here. Please try to ignore the fact that Photobucket :annoyed2: cuts off the last few seconds of video and makes the quality abysmal.
