Or, I realize that I don't know how to put on eyeliner and that said activity is one of the most terrifying things on the planet for me to even try. Because, as it turns out, there are guys in the theatre department who know how to put on eyeliner and makeup in general better than me. One even responded with "You don't know how to put on makeup? But....you're a girl" when I told him this.
Anyways, I took the theatre makeup class that my school has online last spring semester (because at the time I was thinking of minoring in Theatre and it also seemed like an interesting class), and I just found the photos that I
had to take and then send into my professor for each assignment, so I though it'd be fun to toss them up here.
If I actually wore makeup all the time one. Kind of boring.
Not so boring. What happens if you step in front of a bus and then walk into a fight between a ninja and a pirate and survive one.
Kabuki one. Kind of hard to explain and not sure how to explain it myself, but kind of cool at the same time.
My favourite. We had to do a "fantasy" one, and my professor pretty much just gave us free reign to do whatever. I thought it'd be neat to do an artist-inspired one, and orignially wanted to use vanGogh's "Starry Night" as inspiration, but I didn't have any blue or green and didn't have the money to buy it. I went with a Piet Mondrian style instead, which turned out to be quite difficult to get straight lines, and I ended up going and drawing grid lines onto my mirror with the hopes that would keep my lines slightly straighter.
The class was very neat, though.
Bleh, I am tired. Even though there is less stuff, packing for college is not fun.
(and 317 days until BrickFair!)
