On another note: Seeing how one of my classes involves the FFA, or, formerly, Future Farmers of America (don't ask), I must ask you: Do you see any cornfields in Hawaii? According to the secretary's emblem, corn is grown in every state of the US, but Alaska and Hawaii don't seem like places you'd expect corn to grow.

I'm pretty sure no major cornfields are grown here. Or at least on Maui. Maybe on the Big Island.

On Maui, it's mostly sugar cane. However, we have a VERY stinky sugar cane factory, and a few times every month, they burn the old crops or something, creating much smoke and ash.

And it's not a permanent leave, by the way.
