Hey, it's all your decision, so I say good for you. I actually find it quite cool that you're choosing your school work over a TV show, when so many people would just instantly jump at the chance to be on TV regardless of what it meant that they would end up missing.

I mean, there's alway those people who stand in line for hours upon hours to audition for shows like American Idol, and there will be a random interview blip with them where they're like "Oh yeah, I missed my best friend's/sibling's/significant other's birthday/birth of a child/wedding/concert to be here!" I know that isn't quite comparable to your situation, but it just blows me away at how some people's priorities of getting on TV (even if it's just for a few seconds) are just absolutely out of control.

Besides, the show probably would have exploded from all the awesomeness from you being there, and I'm sure Dr. Phil would have been so confused to as what had happened when the overhead lights and cameras had started exploding while you were talking.

He has several degrees to gain the title of doctor; 'doctor' doesn't always means the type that works in hospitals. My dad's proper title is a doctor, but he isn't in the medical area.
