In Northern Virginia, where the county officials close school for the chance of a quarter of an inch (no really), the fact that outside my window I see probably over a foot and a half of snow is pretty much a big deal. (We haven't had this much since sometime in 1995/6.)

It wouldn't stop snowing for about 24 hours. It was crazy. I've spent more than a few hours shoveling around my cars so we can drive, if desired.

The roads are more or less drive-able. Though if I did not have work I would not be driving anywhere soon.

I will conclude with a list of things I should be doing while the snow is down.
