A Question About Quarians

So I ran across a list of all the characters Sheperd can fall in love with in Mass Effect 2... Tali is one of them...

But wouldn't she, as soon as she touched Sheperd without wearing her mask (say, to kiss), wouldn't she instantly contract like a thousand deceases diseases (Edit: I had a brain dead moment there and forgot how to spell things) and die 'cause she has no immune system?

So even as sad as I was the first time around you couldn't fall in love with Tali (because I, the player, totally did), I would rather not be able to do that than her die in my arms after our first kiss. =/

SO DOES TALI GET A NEW IMMUNE SYSTEM AND REVERSE HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF BAD QUARIAN EVOLUTION IN MASS EFFECT 2 OR WHAT?

Yeah, so that comment you thought was NSFBZP? You were totally right. Going to need you to edit that out and the ones referencing that comment. Then you can re-pub. <<DV>>

Edit: aye aye

had no idea these options were way to dramatic :P

So seriously these games are stressful. I bite my nails over even the smallest decisions, knowing some guy I yell at could come back to haunt me in ME2 or ME3. DX

Is this how it is or are you just making an educated guess (I'm assuming it's true since you said you have a room mate playing it)?

Edit: actually I bite my nails regardless

Having pursued this relationship plot I suppose I could provide a little bit of insight.

While Quarians do have significantly reduced immune systems, they can be exposed to to open air without succumbing to death. They will over become very sick, but if treated, they can often overcome their issues. Quarians can also prep for open air exposure through a use of antibiotics and herbal supplements. Exposing ones self to open air still presents an inherent danger, but it's not a death sentence.

And obviously the Normandy is a better place to be exposed on than, let's say, Omega or the Citadel. :rolleyes:

That's why I push them out of windows and make sure they stay dead. B)

Ugh quarians. I hated Tali in the first game because of her stupid high squeaky voice, and shut her down every time she talked to me, but I did her quest anyway.

It's not so much the accent, as it is the high squeakiness that makes me want to bash her head into a wall almost as much as I wanted to do it to Conrad.

I've barely started my second playthrough. Jenkins just died.

I wish Joker could be a companion. Then he'd be a crazy wheelchair man B)

Also, I heard the elevator loading screens are gone in ME2 ;_;
