The Mysteries Of Amazon And The U S P S

Riddle me this:

On 2/4/10 I ordered an Xbox Live subscription card and a points card from Amazon (free Super Saver shipping).

On 2/5/10 I preordered Bioshock 2 from Amazon (free Super Saver shipping).

On 2/7/10 I received notification that my first order was being shipped from Newcastle, DE, and should arrive on 2/11/10.

On 2/8/10 I received notification that my second order was being shipped from Newcastle, DE, and should arrive on 2/9/10.

I am so confused right now.

(But I bet both packages arrive the same day.)

Xbox subscription cards are extremely heavy and take longer to post, or (most likely) Bioshock 2 is on priority due to it being a new release and preordered.

I just buy the subscription and points straight from the internet via XBL Silver :P

That way, it's instant and I don't need to wait.

But I'm not planning to do anything with the Bioshock games until, at least, I finish up with Mass Effect/Mass Effect 2.

Yes, but that would cost me $50+tax for a year. This costs me $40 with no tax.

Also, I'll still beat Mass Effect 2 first, then probably go back to Dragon Age. I'm just a sucker for Collector's Editions and preorders. Also, I can't wait to listen to the soundtrack on vinyl!

Vinyl Soundtracks are always a plus.

Or a failure if you do not own a record player. Plus, it'd be amusing to see how you can drag one around with you on your portable record player.

Still, it did sound like a good deal.

What?! You mean you still haven't beaten Mass Effect 2 yet?! Andrew what is wrong with you!

On another note, let me know how Bioshock 2 is. I personally did NOT want a sequel because, mostly because like less than half of the original developers are working on it. But, depending on reviews, I may rent it at best.

Clearly you accidentally bought a time machine.

Aww, I already have one of those though...

You play Dragon Age, B6? What's your class and party members?

I was playing it, until Mass Effect 2 came out...

I know, it's sad. Life keeps getting in the way and I'm one of those people that likes to take their time and do any/all side quests.

Like I said, it'll be a while before Bioshock 2 gets played, but I'll let you know.
