Ah well, lengthwise makes more sense anyway. It's messier, though.

Bisected at the waist makes no sense. Then I would not be able to stand, and the two sides would not be equal.

Plus, who wants my legs just walking around? It'd creep me out to see my legs walking without a torso. This way is much easier.

You can always get robotic legs like Maul did.

And I see nothing wrong with having your legs walk around own their own.

After several thousand years of freaky experiments, you get used to such things.

Maybe I could weld myself back together and chop sideways, see how it turns out …
