If an American says "Cow" does that not make them an American?

I am wondering: If a Christian says "Suck" does that make them not a Christian?

Ehh. Depends on who you ask. Some Christians say it's a bad word you should never use, yet I know tons who use it regularly.

Personally, I don't think that using any disagreeable word makes you "not a Christian"- It's wrong (by most people) but it's not enough to make you completely not a Christian. I'm sure killing someone or cursing God or stealing or something would make you lose some major Christian points, but uttering an "offensive" word... Eh, I doubt it.

I don't believe I've ever heard of anyone being insulted by that word...

That word is profanity... it still shocks me especially whenever i hear a churchgoer say it (a Christian would never say it) ... do they not know what it means??

The thing is, it means different things to different people.

Having looked the word up in Webster's Dictionary, it does not have any vulgar meanings and is therefore not a profanity.

I think she's confused it with another word.
