Not gonna be at Brickfair, but I am SO going to make some crabs and post them here to support this.

If I could mail one in, I probably would. But I can't, so I won't... I've just been inspired to build a crab, even if I can't send it in.

Same here. I doubt I'll be able to mail mine in and I certainly won't be able to go to Brickfair but at least I'll have a cute little crab. I just crabs!

I'm getting started on my crab right now. He's going to have a lime green color scheme and will be plant-like (I shall name him Weedy.)

Since I'll probably go to BrickFair, I'll try to make many crabs for the invasion.

Now this would be a very interesting thing to see. I might make a crab or two.

I just made a large, somewhat freakish crab. He's almost completely lime green so he's kind of hard on the eyes at first. He also appears to be made of plants as he is almost completely lime green and has vines for legs (I used the two shoulder armor pieces from Vastus.)

Hmm... Sounds fun! After I build some, I'll see if I'll be able to send some in.

I've had a few ideas for tiny little MOCs and this crustacean idea fits well with some of them. Count me in, I have a few older crab designs I can re-work and maybe I'll get something new whipped up as well.

You don't need to be able to MOC. I might point out that I never said anything about MOCs in this blog entry ever! All you'd need to be able to do is take Jaller's Hahnah crab or build an Ussal (for which you can download instructions right here).

In fact, the whole idea was kind of in the direction of using official crab designs, not MOCs, since I had the image of an army of lots and lots of the same type of crab. Though I'm not opposed to contributions of MOCs, I do hope people remember to send some real Bionicle crabs too, mmkay?

I have about a half dozen crabs ready to go, each of them are custom but not overly MOCed I would say, they still have a simplistic technic-crab look to them for the most part.
