the Bohrok were probably the best clone sets and canister villains ever.

Fixed.

Also my Bohrok pieces are all scattered around and the socket joints are probably all loose blargh. ;__;

Kal sucked though.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked the Kal better. Yeah I know, the only difference is the color scheme and shields, but still.

I liked the Kal as much as the regular Bohrok. I mean they did the same thing set-wise, and shiny symmetrical shields!

2002 was awesome, period. Bohrok, Boxor, and Bahrag, all in the same year! :o

Don't forget the Exo-Toa. Probably the greatest set ever! :D

Looking back, Bohrok were okay. At the time though... B)

I definitely think 2002 was the best Bionicle year. All Bionicle's best three sets were released that summer - the Exo-Toa, Boxor, and Bahrag. I want to know who was on the design team that year.

The Bohrok as sets and the attendant storyline were what sealed the deal on my fanhood. 2001 was puppy love, 2002 was when I realized, "OK, this is long-term, serious relationship." :D

And here's my tribute to the Bohrok at Model Expo this past spring:

Krahka and I meant to spin those three into a BionicleXHetalia comedy for that contest a while back, but never got around to it.
