Catra Posted July 5, 2010 the Bohrok were probably the best clone sets and canister villains ever. Quote Link to comment
Eyru Posted July 5, 2010 2002 was awesome, period. Bohrok, Boxor, and Bahrag, all in the same year! Quote Link to comment
Ghostie Posted July 5, 2010 Kal sucked though. 2001, 2002 and the second half of 2003 were the best IMO. Quote Link to comment
Bfahome Posted July 5, 2010 the Bohrok were probably the best clone sets and canister villains ever. Fixed. Also my Bohrok pieces are all scattered around and the socket joints are probably all loose blargh. ;__; Quote Link to comment
Taka-Tahu-Nuva Posted July 5, 2010 Kal sucked though. I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked the Kal better. Yeah I know, the only difference is the color scheme and shields, but still. Quote Link to comment
Queen of Noise Posted July 5, 2010 I liked the Kal storyline. The sets weren't great, but they made sense for what they were supposed to be, at least. Quote Link to comment
Ecto Posted July 5, 2010 Dangit, Smeag, now I want to rebuild mine, and they're scattered all over > Quote Link to comment
Catra Posted July 6, 2010 Kal sucked though. I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked the Kal better. Yeah I know, the only difference is the color scheme and shields, but still. I liked the Kal as much as the regular Bohrok. I mean they did the same thing set-wise, and shiny symmetrical shields! Quote Link to comment
Emzee Posted July 6, 2010 2002 was awesome, period. Bohrok, Boxor, and Bahrag, all in the same year! Don't forget the Exo-Toa. Probably the greatest set ever! Looking back, Bohrok were okay. At the time though... B) Quote Link to comment
Queen of Noise Posted July 7, 2010 I definitely think 2002 was the best Bionicle year. All Bionicle's best three sets were released that summer - the Exo-Toa, Boxor, and Bahrag. I want to know who was on the design team that year. Quote Link to comment
Tuan Taureo Posted July 7, 2010 My Kal are all sleeping away the eons, prettily wrapped up in their canisters ... =3 Quote Link to comment
Hahli Husky Posted July 8, 2010 I love the Bohrok, but despite all the complaining when the Kal came out, I still really loved the Kal. XD Quote Link to comment
BCii Posted July 9, 2010 The Bohrok as sets and the attendant storyline were what sealed the deal on my fanhood. 2001 was puppy love, 2002 was when I realized, "OK, this is long-term, serious relationship." And here's my tribute to the Bohrok at Model Expo this past spring: Krahka and I meant to spin those three into a BionicleXHetalia comedy for that contest a while back, but never got around to it. ~BCii Quote Link to comment
