IC: Kunitu Kunitu paused for a moment. She didn't usually get questioned on why it wouldn't have been interesting for someone to be exuberant. "Happy people aren't really ... that rare?"

IC: Ophaim "Altruism is a remarkably useful justification for criminal activity."

OOC: Hey there, train folks. Silvan wants me to introduce you guys to a little new guard friend. Well, not new, but you might remember him from things like a Mark Bearer attack on a wedding. IC: The carriage roof continued to clatter, shaking in tandem with the rapid motion of the train and the damage dealt to it by the fight below. It was an expected sound; after all, a vehicle like a train was a constant source of noise, and when you've got folks beating each other up, it would have been surprising if there was no noise whatsoever. The tracks continued to rattle, steel continued to clash against steel, and all made sense. This was the noise of things that were happening. That was why it was so strange there was no noise for the entrance of another being into the carriage. A transparent and indistinct figure, nearly invisible, silently dropped through the shattered window, landing on the glass-covered floor of the carriage with absolutely no sound. No evidence of its arrival except for the small shadow its form cast over the ground. It rapidly rose to its feet, turning its eyes upon the back of the conjoined Skakdi that it had made its way behind. And it decided immediately that it would take action and land a strike. Transparent and utterly silent was the swinging of the hard edge of a shield towards the Skakdi.

IC: The Seventh "You ever hung out with Marines, Wraith?"

IC: Kunitu "I do have happy-cheer," she admitted. "Is that so interesting?"

IC: Ophaim "Have you been spreading word of your recovery along the grapevine?" He cut a slice of the cake and deposited it onto his plate.

IC: Kunitu Kunitu glanced at the source of the voice. Pink and purple armour, suggesting one of the more esoteric elements (if it wasn't painted). A bit gaudy too, in her opinion, but it seemed in line with the amount of care the other Toa put herself through. She wasn't totally sure how she was interesting (but it was pretty flattering!) to this woman, but it'd piqued her curiosity. "Interesting?" she asked. "In a singsong way?"

IC: Ophaim "Have your comrades in sin alerted you to any new opportunities?" asked the innkeeper casually, pulling a cake out of his oven. "It would be helpful if you were to pay off your tab."

IC: Ophaim "Fortunately, I don't find you to be a particularly appealing romantic prospect in the slightest."

IC: Ophaim "You have a rather inflated view of yourself."

I intend to plaster my face across this forum once again. Nothing will stop me. Not even flood control.

IC: Ophaim "Through less than legitimate means, I presume."

IC: Ophaim "You've healed quite impressively, Mekana. It could almost be a miracle."

IC: The Fourth "Even if you can't sleep, it'll be better that you don't have to concentrate so hard," she said with a gentle smile. "You can just relax."

IC: Kunitu Kunitu, Toa of Air and semi-retired guardswoman, sat casually on the edge of one of the platforms that made up the village. She seemed rather subdued at first glance, but there was an energy lying beneath that demeanour that was immediately obvious with closer inspection. OOC: Open for interaction.

IC: Higashi "Not a big fan of fighting huh?"

IC: The Fourth "You should take care of yourself more, Krayn," she replied. "Go back to the fire. I can take watch for you."

IC: Higashi "Yeah I know, it was pretty sweet," was the grinned reply. "Anyway, just wondering if ya got any plans now?"
