  1. IC [icicle Inn]: As he watches his business partner locked into a conversation with the Toa, his mind ponders about the next step of the game. His thoughts traveled, recalling the rumors he heard on his long journey from his village toward Ta-Kardas. Travelers and caravans have reported groupings of Rahi near the borders of major settlements, with weird movements toward an universal unknown goal. Novvah haven't heard any reporting like this ever since the winter struck the island, for hundreds of years. Fear hails from the unknown, bringing a shroud of know-nothingness upon many people.... Interestingly enough, though, Novvah had seen and read many repeating history tablets retelling the tales of a previously unknown person who brought equilibrium and light into a world shrouded in dark clouds, offsprings of corruption and filth. History repeat itself like a gigantic wooden wheel on the go. Novvah had read enough tablets and stars to know the procedures. All prophecies of salvation that had become true in old history begin the same thing: having someone who came from the bottom of the society to play a crucial role in an event that'll reform the world. An event that is something out of the norm, something out of the ordinary. Through millennium of Matoran records, great cities rose and fall, all through the same path. Lost in his mind, Novvah realized that he's living in history, from the present, toward an unknown future that may not be that unpredictable after all.
  2. IC [icicle Inn]: Seeing the Toa of Mysterious-Element approaching, Novvah waved at his newly made Skakdi friend, telling him to come back to the bar. Novvah is rather pleased with the progress so far: he's got a potential business partner, a Ko-Matoran representative, and now maybe a Toa to his aid. "Greetin', stranger, yes, I am them leader of the organization ye've just mentioned. Name's Novvah. I've got a Skakdi partner who's in need to 'em Toa to 'elp 'im run his business," Novvah pointed at the flyer Odrek posted a while ago, with enthusiasm. "Any interest to earn them few widgets, stranger?"
  3. IC [icicle Inn]: Novvah can feel that the table is turning for his favor. This cleaner may not be much significance on the path toward his ambition, but it is a good beginning. "Mr. Tapio, need not worry. As them Great Beings once taught, an avalanche be started by a mere pebble, a storm be started by a mere drop. A man of the society is far more efficient than those Ko-Matoran of higher caste, I'll assure ye. The crowd would rather listen to a man who's one of them. After all, none of those corrupted officials can ever feel how hard it was to survive in this long long winter... only the ordinary do, isn't it. So what says ye? It may be ye chance to probably make eh difference."
  4. IC [icicle Inn]: "Sometimes justice is achieved through... "convincing the stubborn", I'd like to say.... But no worries, I sure ain't believe that'll be ye concern, my young friend. You being a Ko-Matoran would be a great representative for the Phantoka to spread awareness to the Ko-Matoran. After all, those Ko-Matoran of Ko-Metru trust their fellow brothers only. I need someone that can inform the general crowd of the truth. About how the government had been discriminatin' other people outside the city. Persuasion is most effective when it's from one of ye kind, eh?" the Turaga of Air said, sounding as casual as possible, but with a darker tone.
  5. OOC: It's actually Novvah, with two v's. It looks cool :3 IC [icicle Inn]: "Why, all them worthy men are welcomed to the Phantoka. We've currently just startin', and havin' ye, a nice Ko-Matoran who knew what's right and true, would be a fantastic addition! The Phantoka aims to bring back balance among all races; I created this mainly for my fellow Spirits of the Air, but I'm pretty sure what the Phantoka did would eventually help all them other Matoran races regain balance of justice." Novvah said, with passion and emotion. "There can be no blizzards without them winds, there can be no hail without them air bringin' 'em. No other race shall be neglected, no matter what. The Ko-people does not deserve to have everythin' and reside upon the tip of the hierarchy pyramid, not to mention 'em discrimination and social injustice!" Novvah puts an arm around the Ko-Matoran, showing as much friendliness as possible. "Ye see, though, there's one tiny problem: I am mere Turaga of Breeze. No one'll take us seriously, my new friend. I need them men, stronger individuals that can serve for the Phantoka. You know, sometimes we need some... 'persuasion' for the better good, isn't it?"
  6. IC: [icicle Inn] The Turaga of Air stayed behind, watching his newly-made Skakdi ally approaching that newcoming Toa of Whatever-the-element-was from behind. So far, things have gone well. While he failed in persuading that female Le-Matoran and Toa of Fire (to be honest, he's much more interested with that Toa; after all, Fire hates them Ice) to join his organization, he did managed to make a possible source of income to sponsor his political campaign. He sips the little cup in his hand, hoping the Skakdi would persuade the Toa to join them. "Excuse me, I don't know if I'm talking to the right person... but I'm looking for someone associated with a group called Phantoka." A voice rang behind him, out of seemingly nowhere. Novvah was surprised; after all, he had never expected someone to approach him voluntarily; most people he'd talked to deemed the Phantoka too naive or too idealistic. After all, who's gonna listen to a small organization composed of a Turaga, his old teammates, and a handful of Le-Matoran? It surprised him even more when he turned around, finding that stranger to be a Ko-Matoran. Most Ko-Matoran tend to throw whatever they got in their hands at him when he preaches about the Phantoka. Retreating back to reality, Novvah picked up his other personality again. "Why, hello, Ko-Matoran stranger. I believe you're 'ere to ask me them importance of the Phantoka? Let me introduce myself a bit, eh? My name is Novvah, Turaga of Air, leader of the Phantoka. Go on, ask me anythin' you'd in doubt of."
  7. Are you disappointed with social discrimination? Are you disappointed with the Ko-people handling everything? Are you tired of those racism remarks and prejudice, and want to make there be balance among different races? Join the Phantoka, we're, erm, honest people who wants to make the world a better place for the minority, to put a voice for those who were under-represented in the society. We welcome everyone, especially wise and considering Ko-Matoran! The best candidate to put a voice against the unfair treatment from Ko-people IS one of those Ko-People! I am sure you're making the best choice to help us, to restore world harmony and peace, free from discrimination! :3 If you're interested, please talk to that annoying Turaga of Air in the Icicle Inn
  8. IC: [icicle Inn] "Why, that shall be extremely, extremely helpful, Mr. Odrek. I suppose I'll aid with your recruitment for a while, for the better good of the Phantoka and my fellow Spirits of the Air." The Turaga exclaimed with half-made up joy. He doesn't really have any choice at the moment. First thing's first. Gotta get an access to resources before persuading them to join in his path of ambition. When Toa come in for the business, Novvah figured he'll have better access toward possible Phantoka additions. "Mr. Odrek, please consider me as your ally for the time being. I'll give you a hand on yer searchin' of 'em essentials." Novvah passionately shook the Skakdi's hand, even though he didn't really reach them out. Just at this moment, a Toa-like figure entered the inn, a Toa of an unknown element that Novvah had never seen in his entire career as a Toa (after all, being in a Toa team with three other Toa of AIr and two Toa of Plantlife) or a Turaga. But then again, a Toa is still a Toa, no matter whatever element bolt his hands can shoot or whatever Kanohi he can trigger. And the Phantoka needs someone like this. "How about this nice Toa-lookin' fellow, Mr. Odrek? He seems useful." OOC: Interaction offered to Vokahi. Let's get a business (pronounced: rebellious-political-ambition) started!
  9. IC {Icicle Inn}: "Well, that's why I'm right 'ere, far many miles away from me home, Mr. Odrek. There's far more that was needed to be done in order to restore the old days, I knew that, but I feel that it's a duty for me to speak for my people, what was required to give a change. The Phantoka is more than willing to recruit worthy men to be messengers of our campaign, but so far not many have been interested. Foolish, isn't it... if we THINK like caged Gukko birds, then we will BE that caged Gukko birds. Y'know, the mind is much much more powerful than many can think of... it ain't about how strong them Ko-people are, it's about how strong we are, when it comes to protectin' them equivalent rights. The Phantoka aims out to speak for us Spirits of the Air, that's true, but that never meant we don't seek balance of rights and social status for all other races."
  10. Ah, no, you should come join in a nice little political campaign against those evil Ko-ppl to grab the justice we have lost for so long.
  11. IC [icicle Inn]: "Ain't a problem, stranger, I hope you wouldn't mind havin' ole geezer stickin' with ya in this inn, while waitin' for your "essentials". People ain't much friendly around here, y'know." the Turaga paused, taking a sip while shooting the two he talked to a few minutes ago a look of sympathy, as if those two have become brain-less monkeys that required much medical care. "These people are way too foolish or ignorant to understand this dire situation of imbalance, nor do they care about the discrimination roaming around the valley of this long long winter." The Skakdi may simply be an average man, trying to make a living, but Novvah can feel that he's not a fan of this winter. Sticking with him for now won't be a nasty idea, and who knows, he might just be able to see a few Toa of Fire who had a thing against those Ko-people attracted to the Skakdi's offer. By then, he'll be able to tell them of the importance of the Phantoka. "Allow me to introduce myself first, Mr. Skakdi. My name is Turaga Novvah, and I'm the leader of the Phantoka. I've traveled this afar to preach them truths about injustice."
  12. OOC: Oops, sorry, my bad. IC: Noticing the Skakdi posting the flyer, Novvah approached the big fellow from behind. "Looking for someone to help run your business, oh mighty Skakdi? I got an offer for you: I got a handful of widgets back from my village that you can probably use for a period of time." the Turaga of Air said, with a carefree voice. "But, there's a problem; the village is by the foot of them mountain ranges of Ko-Metru. If you can take me there, and stop at The Senate House for a few hours for my, erm, peaceful petition, I'll provide you the payment you need."
  13. OOC: Mr. Basilisk, would you mind if Novvah join ur revolution?
  14. IC [icicle Inn]: Novvah was not happy that he let his true self slipped out a bit. After all, they're just tools for him for his political ambition... too bad that his status as a Turaga doesn't really sell out all convincing. The Phantoka, his people, rely upon his shoulders, and it won't be wise to allow possible hindrance to know him well. He's got a group of well-trained Le-Matoran by his sides, but he need much more in order to pursue his goals. Allowing people to see through him won't be a good idea. The failure of persuasion does got him thinking, however, as he allow his mind to flow. Novvah doubted the possibility of disposing all Ko-people completely, but he is not afraid to stir up something to restore balance. He doesn't wish to be a king or a conqueror, not does he wish to purge those of the Ice. He just want to show those ignorant Icy-Heads what many years of discrimination and social injustice against other races can lead to. It is all done according to the wish of a better world, a world of equivalent rights. He doesn't wish for any chaos... but sometimes chaos is required to achieve justice. While other anti-Ko activists or revolutionaries may have a different goal, but Novvah knows he's got no choice. He need more people. After all the failed approaches trying to persuade people peacefully to join his political petition, Novvah concluded that he might just have to try a different attempt to this matter. Thank the Great Spirit that he's got quite a wealthy widget saving. It may be just the perfect time to start a rebellion. OOC: Any revolutionary here? Let's stir up some mess.
  15. IC [icicle Inn]: "What you two barely fail to understand, is that I can put on a good fight. Yes, I can't go in all melee, I agree. But I do know how to aim my daggers with proper accuracy. After all, I managed to travel all the way here from my Koro. The sight ain't pretty." Novvah said with a dark tone, a very different person from that jolly fool half a minute ago. As a demonstration of agility, a dagger was drawn out from seemingly thin air, in lightning speed, penetrated into the wooden wall right behind to the Toa of Fire, a few inches close to his mask. " I have enough money to pay you, Matoran. I have a village of loyal Matoran that I ought to protect, and I am quite aware that I might even save more people than you ever did, Toa of Fire. You know what, forget about the offer. I pray to the Great Beings that the winter snow does not devour you two alive. I suppose I shall step my foot back into the snow again then... and seek for the better. Do keep in mind though; I heard about them news and talks about wild Rahi roaming around near cities. May you two young ignorant people survive." With a dark chuckle that sounds like a scream of Muaka cats, Novvah turned away from the two and walked toward another corner of the bar, knowing that there must be eventually a man worthy for his ambition. Toying with his pouches of widgets, he draws out a few and ordered a drink. He's got time. OOC: open for interaction, of course. I do realize there's not a lot of Icicle Inn people... On the other hand, how long would it take to travel to different places?
  16. How about joining Phantoka, you know we can use a Toa and two :3
  17. IC: "Why, it's not about politics! It is about justice! Ever since them winter came, we've suffered much of discrimination from them Icy-Heads, not to mention fallin' into that dark hole of low social hierarchy status. It ain't about that silly money-and-speech approach, it's them of equality, righteousness, and lettin' us people of the Air back to where we use to be!" Novvah exclaimed, with passion and confidence. He need more. A Toa, to be exact, and he's gonna cling on. Ignoring the Toa of Fire's annoyed tone, he offered. "I hope you don't mind an old geezer join' your little frolickin' by the countryside eh? We have much to talk about! Don't you ever cared about how sad our situation is? We Spirits of the Air have been ignored for too long, way too long. And you, Toa of Fire, don't you ever wished that those Ko-Matoran and that harsh winter treated you better? Together, we'll restore balance back to this imbalanced and unfair society!"
  18. Name: Novvah Species and Gender: Turaga of Air, Male. Appearance: Novvah has multiple dents and severe cracks on his back armor. However, he usually wore a grand and flamboyant coat made with animal hide and fur, with elaborated patterns carved upon the linings of the coat. The coat is large enough to cover his entire back and most of his front, making him seemly hunchbacked and large, hard for others to estimate his true posture and size. Novvah's armour is Mata green, with Lime green joints. Kanohi: Novvah uses Miru, the Noble Mask of Levitation, due to political reasons. Weapons: The Staff of Phantoka, which allows him to charge small amount of Air energy. It also serves as a walking stick, a pathetic melee weapon, and his Badge of Office. He also got two small daggers hidden within his coat, but they are barely threatening for Skakdi or Toa. Gear: N/A Abilities, Powers, and Skills: Novvah, like all Turaga of Air, has a relatively weak control over the power of Air compared to his glorious Toa days, and also the ability to use a Noble Kanohi. Novvah is a man of wits and charisma, however, knowing the perfect skill of speech to help convince and manipulate people of weaker determination and intelligence. He is also efficient with throwing his daggers with high accuracy thanks to many years of practicing even long after his Toa days. He is still relatively much weaker physically compared to a Toa, though he makes up what's lacking with his analytic skills. Personality: Novvah is a charismatic, but in the same time, a "hidden" Turaga. In order to achieve his political goals, he rather prefer to cover his true self with a passionate, fun-loving, impulsive, easy-going, and sometimes comically cheerful, attitude, like most Le-Matoran stereotypes in a daily joke. He only show these personalities to those who he believed to be unworthy or without any use on his path toward greatness. His true self beneath the jolly Miru is extremely ambitious, taking each step cautiously, conserving, and extremely calculating, only making true friends with people that he deemed worthy of the friendship--- or of good use on his political path. He is not of pure evil, but also not the perfect hero; in terms of morality, he's just any typical Turaga minding his nice little retirement days, though he doesn't really mind walking on the borders of Ko-Nui laws a few times to achieve what he is seeking. After all, a little more deaths of non-Le Matoran might be just necessary to bring better good for his people.... Weaknesses: Novvah's odd personality makes him hard to make true friends that will come to his help without any talks of favor and payment. He is just a Turaga, after all, so by no means as powerful as other residents of Ko-Nui (Unless, of course, he's locked in a battle against a Matoran) Biography: Initially a charismatic Le-Matoran that had quite a business of Rahi farm, Novvah lives in a small village called Le-Koro (with a population of approximately 80 Le-Matoran and Bo-Matoran) near the outskirts of Ko-Metru. Novvah was later transformed into a Toa, along with three other Toa of Air and two Toa of Plantlife from the same village. The team mainly deals with escaped thieves and roaming bandits that haunted travelling merchants and passengers in the mountains nearby. When the great Ice Age struck the universe, a powerful blizzard assaulted the village, bring destruction and chaos. Many was killed by the blizzard, including the ruling Turaga, or injured severely. Novvah and his remaining two team members gave up their Toa energy in order to heal the survivors of the blizzard, while Novvah become the leader of Le-Koro. As the Ko-people rise in political power and social hierarchy, and cases of discrimination and prejudice against his fellow Le-Matoran rises, Novvah founded the political council under the name of The Phantoka. A growing organization (currently only six members, due to most outsiders treating it as a silly attempt) which seeks to increase Le-Matoran status in social hierarchy, political influence, and military power, The Phantoka manipulated the burning emotions of Le-people under years of suppression by Ko-people to the aid of Novvah's political ambition. The Phantoka claimed that the Spirits of the Winds are just as important for this universe as the Ice... and Novvah is not afraid to prove his point through whatever it takes, even if it means assassinating off opposing political figures or important business owners of Ice...
  19. IC [icicle Inn]: Novvah, Turaga of Air, has been travelling through the icy world. On another recruiting journey to spread words of the Phantoka, Novvah seeks people worthy and "useful" for the organization, composed of another two Turaga from his village Le-Koro and a handful of Le-Matoran and Bo-Matoran. The Spirits of the Air is full of ambition, aiming to bring his fellow Le-people back to the old glorious days where Le-Koro serve as a major village for Rahi herding and most importantly, respect and friendship from its Ko-Metruan neighbor. Ever since that great blizzard, he can feel the chilly smirks of disgust and discriminating glares from those frozen-heads rising in number and intensity. He simply can not allow that to happen; he knows that his people deserved better, and he's willing to do anything to achieve that goal. There's only one problem: in order to persuade Ko-Nui, you need military strength, enough influence, money, and fame. Lots and lots of 'em. The Phantoka is ambitious, but merely at its infancy. Even though money was never an issue for him (his Rahi business back as a Matoran made him wealthy enough to support a political committee, after all.), Novvah doubted that outsiders would view them seriously... especially when the strongest member in the entire organization is a Turaga long passed his prime. That's the reason why he had decided to step his foot in the Icicle Inn. He is seeking for someone who hated this god-forsaken winter. And maybe those stuck-up Ko-Matoran. Luckily to him, he found a Toa of Fire locked in a conversation with a Le-Matoran. Seeing a fellow Le-person made him delighted; through possible manipulation of hatred emotion against the Ko-Matoran he can probably succeed to make the Le-Matoran to convince a Toa to join his political petition. "Why, jolly days, a fellow Spirit of the Air!" He exclaimed, trying to sound as care-free as possible, approaching the two. "Have you, oh my dear Le-Matoran, ever heard of the rightful campaign of the Phantoka?" Novvah's eye fixed clearly fixed upon the Le-Matoran stranger, trying to show that he is not at all interested of the Toa of Fire's presence. After all, it's easier to gain hearts if someone felt that he or she was important to the speaker.... OOC: I hope you two don't mind me join'in.

  21. Hello, just a brief question: I want to create a fanatic Le-Turaga who wishes to boost social status of Le-Matoran in this icy world. He believes that Wind and Ice should exist of equal status... and will try anything to increase the rights of his people. However, is it oh-kay if I make him a leader of a certain small committee that aims to boost political importance for all Air element residents in Ko Nui? Maybe like 5~10 people...
  22. Goin' for Lewa... he's my first set, plus I love his development throughout the years.
