  1. Pandora - by Immediate Music.Or Trilogy - by Immediate Music.Predictably, I like Immediate Music.
  2. Mata Nui dying instead of going back into the Ignika would have worked just as well
  3. The Giver's about a Utopia, too, so I couldn't help but wonder.
  4. I get the feeling you got some inspiration from The Giver. Ever read that book before?
  5. I'd probably mess something up and destroy the site's mainframe.Having said that, I probably wouldn't be a very good staff member.
  6. Most swearing is relevant to human or animal related things, so that wouldn't really work. Not to mention that swearing would make parents all uptight about the show.
  7. AHAH! I bet that's it! Re-encoding anything makes it lose quality (unless you're muxing h.264 files from different containers or something like that). But hold on...upon closer viewing, I see that the edited files take up more space than the unedited. Which might not mean anything, but generally larger file size = better quality.
  8. I'm lamer and less creative than you guys. I just put the character's personality into Google Translate and translate to Latin. For example, a good guy Skrall in an epic I'm working on has the name "Amicus" - Latin for "friend".
  9. Actually it doesn't. Your soundtrack is good, but it's possible to hear the effects of the music warp. Would you be able to remake the soundtrack with the better sounding music? Also, if someone could fix the texts to the high quality episodes, I'm sure many people, in addition to me, would be very happy. Well, dang darn dadburn it! I see you're right upon comparison.I'll see what I can do.
  10. I agree. That style was epic. The only problem was that it took forever to load; that might have annoyed some people. Not sure how they would have done something that cool with 2008 story however. Still, I think they should have tried, at least. And I liked the new content they put up in that update; I think the format was sacrificed for content. It never took me quite too long to load, and that concept art that they showed while it loaded was pretty cool.Maybe the 2008 format could have taken place in the Codrex, even though it wasn't introduced until summer of that year.
  11. The LEGO Media Project isn't up yet, so gdfgdfgdfice did us a favor by uploading these!I've always thought LEGO's older games were better than the newer ones. Maybe because the programs they were using then were so limited in their ability they tried to make each game an excellent one.
  12. :oWow, that is a difference! I mean, compare the sound to episode 7 here - http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Bohrok_Online_Animationsand here - http://www.bzpower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=221025It's amazing! Now why it's like that I don't know, but wow! That's a major difference!Fortunately, I believe my soundtrack uses the better-sounding version.
  13. Most Marvel cartoons are very good, yes, but many are ill-fated.Wolverine and the X-Men - cancelled during productionSpectacular Spider-Man - cancelled during production.Iron Man: Armored Adventures was thiiiis close but managed to hop back onto air.And The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is probably doomed for cancellation because they've waited far too long to air new episodes. Tying in your cartoon with an upcoming movie probably isn't the best marketing plan if the movie comes more than a year after your first season finale.
  14. My favorite incarnation of the site was in '07 when it was in the Toa Terrain Crawler. They should have tried to follow that format in later years, instead of slapping an ad on the front page to catch your attention.
  15. I should know about this - I made an album of the online animations. Check my sig if interested (warning - archive link).I personally don't think they don't sound too bad as standalone music tracks, but there are some times where you just cringe at the bad quality (like the opening music in the first episode). If the guy on BZPower actually recovered the source files that were on the site, then the music should sound exactly as it did in '02, unless there's some other factor that went into the recovery.
  16. The Avengers, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again.
  17. So what if they're Toa at heart? If someone has greater power over your mind, you'll probably obey them because they're forcing you to obey.
  18. Exactly what I'm referring to. That makes sense. I guess Keetongu did learn Matoran somewhere along the line.
  19. Joined in 2010, right about when the line ended. So, yeah, I missed this board's golden age, but it can still be a fun place to check back in from time to time.
