If you were to write a song, would you want it to be loved by the majority of people, become a classic as time went on, but not make any money off it at all, or would you want it to be hated by the majority of people, forgotten as time went on, but make millions of dollars off of it?

So a couple entries back I asked everyone which of my un-built set I should build first: Tahu Uniter, Darth Vader, or General Grievous? At the end of the deadline I put on the vote, Tahu came out as the winner. So I went ahead and built his set. I didn't get a chance to do it until yesterday though, thanks to a last minute work related event popping up in my schedule on Tuesday. But now he is built.

As for my thoughts on him, he's better than I originally thought he was going to be. I in particular like the gear functions on his swords. Their simple, but still really cool. I like the look of his new weapons and armor as well, but I do think some of it could've been a little more red instead of gold. I don't regret getting him though.

I am planning a trip to my local Lego Store next week, to see if it has Ekimu and Umarak the Destroyer. But now I'm thinking about getting Ikir as well, to see how it and Tahu look when combined together. (And see how he looks on Umarak the Hunter as well.) Decisions, decisions...

Anyways, thanks to everyone that voted!

I don't know that much about the Angry Birds Franchise. I've never played one of their games, as I've never had a device that had the ability to play those games. But from what I understand, one launches an Angry Bird into obstacles for points, and pigs have something to do with it. (I know I could easily look up more about it, but honestly I just don't feel like it. ) It sounds like a simple, harmless game that one could play to pass the time. Even though it exploded into a huge brand with toys and other merchandise that I imagine have made a lot of money for the creator of the theme.

So I guess it isn't surprising that a movie about the Angry Birds is being released in the summer of 2016. But people still have questions about it. What story would it have? Would it have anything to do with the games? What kind of characters would be in it? Could it actually be a good movie?

We won't get those answers until the movie is released. But we do have a trailer now that shows us what we have to look forward to. It doesn't do much for me, because like I said, I don't know much about it. But even I kind of question why this movie is being made, other than to make money.

for anyone interested in seeing it. Who knows, maybe this could be a good movie. Or maybe not. We'll find that out next year.

Well, I actually haven't seen one of these in the blogs in a long while. I guess they fell out of popularity.

But anyway, I decided to make another one for my blog. Go ahead and ask me anything, and I'll answer it. Though don't be surprised if it takes me awhile to answer it, since my work hours can be long.

    So, ask away!

Thanks to all the rain currently going through Texas right now, I've managed to get almost this whole weekend off. I only had to work roughly three hours yesterday before the Amusement Park I work at closed, and today it didn't open at all. So really, I've only worked three hours in the last two weekends.

For someone who hasn't had a weekend off in over a year before this, I will say that it is so weird being home instead of at work. But I'm not complaining. I'd rather be at home than working in the rain.

I'm now one year less than a quarter of a century years old!

To clarify, today is my birthday, which I have turned 24 years old.

I FEEL SO OLD! Though I know I'm not that old. Yet.

I have today and tomorrow off from work too, so that is an extra bonus for me. As for gifts, my family gave me exactly what I wanted: cold, hard cash. This gives me the funds to go get some items I've been wanting to get. (I'm coming for you, General Grievous contraction set!) I also plan to get the rest of the summer wave of the Bionicle sets I haven't gotten yet as well as Pokemon Omega Ruby. Even though I'm replaying Pokemon Y at the moment, I would like to have Omega Ruby in my possession when I'm ready to play it.

    That's all for now.

Do you remember the movie Avatar that came out back in 2009? The movie made by James Cameron that had the majority of its cast playing giant blue aliens named Na'vi on a moon named Pandora? Have you been wanting a sequel to said movie?

Well you're in luck then, as there are four sequels to this movie in development right now. Yes, you read that right. FOUR SEQUELS!

James Cameron, who made the first movie, has spend the last couple of years writing the scrips for these four movies, with the fifth movie's scrip being completed just recently. They are all going to be equally developed at the same time, with Avatar 2 being released next year.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. With the first Avatar being the highest grossing film of all time as of this entry, a sequel to it was inevitably going to be made. But four of them seems kind of excessive IMO.

I think that we should've only made two at the most back to back, similar to the Pirates of the Caribbean and Matrix sequels. That way, if the films didn't do as well at the box office as the first, then they wouldn't waste money making more of them.

What do you guys think of this many Avatar sequels heading our way over the next few years?

My trip to Las Vegas has come to an end. Thus, I am back home and again active on BZP. I did A LOT on this vacation, but since I just got home an hour ago as of this post, I think I'll save those details for a future entry.

I still have four days off from my job though, which will give me plenty of time catch up on everything that has happened on BZP, videos posted on Youtube, and get info on the other various sites I visit.

So I got on Twitter this morning and learned that today is apparently Batman Day. I don't think its an official day, but I still think it's cool that The Dark Knight has a day named after him.

To celebrate this occasion, I'm going to post some Batman related videos in this blog entry that I think all fans of The Dark Knight will like. Here we go.

    First off, here is a
. I've watched this video a few times since I found it, and I think that it does a better job of presenting this speech then the The Killing Joke movie that came out this past summer.
    Next, we have the Extended
. I didn't show this show as much as I should have back when it was on TV, but I still know this song and think that its really cool.
    And finally, here is
(Don't watch this one if you haven't seen it, as it contains spoilers.) It's a great ending to one of the best Batman movies ever made.
As a bonus, here is a
I discovered awhile ago and already posted in this blog about, but wanted to bring it up again here because of this particular day.
Yep, that's all I got for this. Happy Batman Day, everyone!

As for a conversation starter, what is your favorite Batman related scene or event from the Batman movies, comics, and/or TV shows?

So I watched a short video yesterday that revealed who was Batman's ultimate enemy. It was made for comedy's sake, to kind of put a twist on Batman's fight against crime and not to be taken seriously. But I thought it had a neat concept. It had The Joker, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, and The Riddle all meeting with this person, who turned out to be Alfred, Bruce's butler.

Alfred then explained that Bruce was never able to cope with the death of his parents. But instead to dealing with his pain, he became Batman to fight Gotham's crimes as a way to cope with it. However, he would've gotten the city cleaned of crime in a short time, thus leaving him to time to think about losing his parents and about what he had become because of it: a ridiculously-dressed vigilante. So he hired actors to play characters who were just as ridiculous as Bruce so that he could continue to be Batman, and not realize the horrible reality of what happened to his parents. Alfred then says that he became Gotham's true crime lord to protect Bruce from himself.

(I would link the video here, but it has a word in it that is against the rules of BZP, so I won't.)

I should point out that his story was done in a Batman comic entitled 'Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?', which was published back in 2009. But still, I thought it was a cool twist to put on the story of Batman. All of Batman's greatest enemies, all sent against him and Gotham by the one person he trusts the most, so that he wouldn't have to deal with the reality of losing his parents.

Does anyone else think that could make for an amazing Batman movie? I kind of do. If done right, I think it could be an amazing story to see on screen. And who knows, maybe we will one day.

I've been debating on whether or not I should become a Premier Member of BZP. I've really enjoyed having a blog and using it to talk about stuff that I couldn't talk about in the various topics on the site. I also have the money to spare for it.

So what do you guys think? Is it worth it to become a Premier Member of BZP?

Here is something interesting I thought I would blog about since I have my blog for this week.

For the last three years, there has been a bird (I don't know what kind) that has built its nest inside the mailbox of our house. This mailbox is a small, rectangular black box latched beside the front door of our house. Why the bird decided to build its nest there, I have no idea. But I guess the bird wasn't bothered by us or the mailman too much.

The first year that she build her nest, she wasn't able to complete it. The second year, she completed the nest but didn't lay any eggs. This year, she got her nest built and laid her eggs, which hatched into four baby birds. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the baby birds myself before they grew up enough to fly on their own and leave the nest. I work five days a week and on my two days off I'm either sleeping, on my computer, or watching TV. Which leaves little time to guess a mailbox full of birds, I suppose.

Here's is what I think is the funny part of this story. The Mother Bird left the nest when here babies did, meaning we had a empty bird nest sitting in our mailbox now. My Dad went and pulled it out of the box, and found something interesting in it when he did. He found a card with a phone number to a landscaping business in the nest. It was as if the bird had left that card for us, to let us know that it wants us to work on our front yard for when it returns next year. Not that our yard needs it, as it looks very good IMO. But I guess the bird didn't think so.

When I first became a Premier Member, I thought to myself 'I should make a quiz or two for the site, and make them super challenging for those who dared tried to beat them.' But I haven't made any progress on this since, because I kind of forgot that they existed. Thanks, life.

But I still wouldn't mind making a quiz for BZP. I just need to find the time to make it. And if I did, I'd make sure to make really difficult.
  15. Toa Smoke Monster
Well, at least we didn't have to wait six months for BZP to return this time. Anyway, I'm going to try to post my story sometime at the end of the week. As I said before, no guarantees.

P.S. I wonder how much I'm going to have my blog? Anyone know?

    HOLY SMOKES!

I had no idea that this was coming. I'm not complaining though. In fact, I love the new look! The gray and red go really well together.

I wonder what other new things are coming...
