okay, it's a bit of an odd question, and it has been asked a dozen times, but does anyone know who owns each of the brown komau, and white huna masks, and also, this is a bit for curiousity sake, what other items cam in those calender bags (i mean brands, for search purposes) i know they're from norway though.
next, anyone know who has the yellow huna
and for that matter, the yellow ruru (the manas one, and the prototype ones, seperatly)
next, anyone know who owns the navy matatu, and maroon huna
and lastly, most common of all, the navy/white, white/navy, black/orange miru, anyone know who has those
I'm trying to create a checklist that actually tracks the masks (plastic masks, from 2001, not gold, or platinum)
also, any other misprints that arent the toa color ruru, matatu, or sky, and yellow kaukau, let me know
and to let you know, lego confirmed with me that there was at least 2 transparent blue noble rau for turaga nokama (from prototype manas sets)

I never have counted the Makuta as a species, he was always Makuta from 2003 (not taradox, or what ever) and my favorite would have to be the bohrok... just think, thousands upon thousands of fast and destructive elemental creatures (sorta) that lay waste to everything in there path, are impervious when rolling, plus they have bohrok va to bring back downed bohrok wit hthere dorment krana, then you have the bahrag leaders that are massive, and control them, plus the bahrag are symbiotic (stronger the closer they are to each other) and in the end, you have the kal, which are elite bohrok, and in my opinion have there element, plus there shield's power (like fire tahnok, with electric shields) I'm not sure if they have both elementl powers, but in my book they do, and face it, there are thousands, you're pretty much dead any way you look at it

kind of destroyed it, though I can build it again, I mean it is small, all I did was pretty much hook the rock shape from the 79000 riddle for the ring set, on the left side of the castle from the Uruk-hai army set (9471) so it could still be hooked to the battle of helms deep set (9474), there are a select few alterations, but nothing in accordance to the shape of the castle or the rock structure, the function piece you turn would be on the back half of the castle too, really not that hard to do

This is subject to opinion of course, but I would say that it was great at the end, yet not quite as great as 2001-2003. The storyline in the later years was much more deep and expansive, but the whole experience, from sets to the immersive-ness aspect of 2001-2003 was superior. The mysterious feel to those years was a large contributing factor to this despite the more simplified storyline. That's not to say I didn't love the later years. I did. But 2001-2003 will always be the best in my book.
absolutely agree with you there, 2001-2003/ even a bit of 2004 was nice, but I started missing the old colors (couldn't we have gotten regular green again just once lol) but yea, I think it went down hill in 2006 (except the titans were okay) I liked 2007 better, and the first half of 2008 was good (not the silver mistika XP) but then 2009, and it's like they tried to hit almost every point of nestalgia at that time, but not go just back into 2001 obviously, like giving us tan (then dark yellow again... why?) I would have liked another wave of agori, or a tan rahkshi instead of dark yellow (even regular yellow, I'd like) but I liked some of complexness, kind of inventive armor mounting on toa, or a new body for kiina, and some functions in the vehicles, though I think all should have had functions like the main 3 in 2008, but either way, we got them, got more tan on thornatus, and that at least was a beautiful thing...

Honestly, I liked 2009 a lot better then 2008, the returning colors, some helmets simple designs, the weapons in actual colors, and not just silver and gold, too bad there were no real functions, except for thornatus, and i guess cendox since it steered (and i guess, though i would consider skopio pinching)
but the new weapons, some of which had multiple uses, and showed up on multiple people kind of like in 2001-2004, and even recoloring weapons that they came out with that year, like gresh's shield, mata-nui's weapon thing, ackar's fire sword, or matoro's axe (not exactly new, but nice colors) how about orange and lime green little electroblades, (like ackar's shoulders) anyway, did you think it was getting better at the end, or no, the only thing i did not like was titan Mata nui, he had yellow, and dark yellow, which I do not like together, plus only a small ammount of gold, and no new pieces except the mask in that color, honestly, I would have liked him better in dark grey, especially for a dark grey mask finally, anyway, state what you thought they did right, could have done, or why the year was (or was not) better then some previous years, (honestly I liked it more then 2006 too, but at least 2006 had nice colors and cool titan builds)

would love any kanohi from 2001-2004 in a color that we never had, I'd never say that it was a bad idea, especially for more mctoran colors (and especially for purple, kinda want a purple kaukau from flintsmith but enough dreaming)

okay, so
2001- muaka & kane-ra
2002- exo-toa (I was like, 8, and I know I screwed up the front at first, but by the second exo-toa I got from a friend, it was easy)
2003- all i have here is makuta, but I love him this much |-----------------------love-meter-----------------------|
2004- krekka, he had the only real functions, i mean, it didn't use those bendy things, and it didn't repeat four legs, only 2 XD
2005- didn't have any, however, I have built keetongu, and the center was a bit interesting to deal with
2006- brutaka (least favorite year do to functions going bye-bye, but love the build)
2007- lisovikk (I've got him and nocturn) though again, I've built maxilos sorta, he's hard, especially since I build a blend of maxilos with takanuva from 2008 to make a super awesome plant element dude, he wears kongu mahri's mask and has a lot of colors that work very well actually..... anywho
2008- i find jetrex and rockoh equally difficult actually, don't have axalara
2009- perditus (thornatus) looked fun, gotta get that set, baranus was my favorite though, and crotesius (cendox) was actually pretty well designed

manas battle, and shadow toa from the first book, kind of would have been epic, espcially with the kaita, or the exo-toa vs. bahrag, possibly takanuva with makuta in 2003 (good old years '01-'03) other then that, since you didn't get an actual morbuzahki (spelling) the battles against that as a lego system would be not only awesome, but imagine the pieces you could get too, and that playablilty

okay, this isn't what it seems, but If you could recolor any bionicle (or in the case of tohunga/mctoran, make one that lego came up with, but didn't physically make) who would be what color(s) and why?
I personally would recolor the 2003 Takua, so he was all light blue, or nuparu from 2002 so he was black/dark grey (so we could have a dark grey pakari, because orange is also on 10023) and lastly hahli mahri, although those two colors are amazing togeather, they just don't fit a water type to me, I would have gone with light blue, or more preferably, sand blue (for those extra sand blue pieces), so who would you recolor (it can be a whole set to, like a fire lewa or something)

as an update I guess, the second set that was in my box was the hobbit riddle for the ring, and it was the complete thing, I think someone may have put it in the box, because the box was hidden, and with the bigger boxes, it's just tape anyway

this is extremely difficult for me, but if it was a noble mask..... ugh, the ruru is my favorite, so i guess that in either dark orange, because that be cool, or the purple from way back in 2001, because purple is my favorite color, and I like that purple, anywho, I'd wear a GREAT Komau in maroon, even though idk if I like the great komau more then the great ruru, and lastly... Tarix helmet, any color really, that bright pinkish misprint would be a cool one, or iron (dark silver, like 2008 takanuva) or black, hard choice, but love the details on the helmet

What bionicle mask, or glatorian helmet would you make and wear, I mean actually take the time making, what would you make, you only have one choice for each type of mask (axled mask, like in metru, studded mask, like on the toa mata/turaga, and helmet, like the glatorian/agori), and what color(s) would it be?)

Okay, so I was eger to buy the lord of the rings set, Uruk-hai army, and I went into walmart today, to find only one left, and it was well hidden (behind a large $100 set) I knew it was there (was hopeing anyway) because the day before there were for... but to the main point, I get to the car, and open it, and there are instructions for another set inside along with the regular instructions, that was cool, but I go through building, and find 2 bags, for a set that wasn't this... turns out, they were for those instructions (the one with bilbo baggins, and golum (spelling) and some rock feature and boat, any who, Both sets were inside this box... I know a long time ago, my friend got a pohatu mata set, and it came with parts for some of a second pohatu, but has this kind of thing ever happened to anyone, just curious (also, I built the rock feature into the side of the castle wall opposite of where it connects to helms deep, it's quite beautiful really) (also, I highly recommend the Uruk-hai army set, it's from last year, so I may get hard to find soon, and though it's only about 260 pieces for $30 (which I also got that $30 for free) it is well worth it, you get a new horse, a beautiful Rohan printed helmet, plenty of weapons, a ballista, armor, shields... but this isn't a review, just go out and get one lol

I always wondered, why do the Nuparu & Hewkii set have yellow spheres when on their promo pics they were shown as red?
I am not sure if this question has been answered, but the some Inika came with 2 colors (some just one) but for example, the matoro (and kongu) came with blue as there main color, but it was possible to find a light blue varient (I own that, and it is my favorite) Jaller, and Halhi came with a kind of sandy green, with a darker green varient (in my opinion, the dark green is hardest to find), and then Nuparu, and Hewkii came with red as there promo, with a keetorange varient (which I have both, and prefer red, never really got attacked to keetorange, was upset that it replaced brown) hope this has helped, and my favorite comes with the lord of the rings "tower of orthanc" and it is like a olive green blended with black, but when the light in the set goes through it, it kind of glows an ominous red, I don't have the sphere yet though

I remember exactly what, and exactly when, and where..... at walmart, in a center isle was a display, and the only bionicle 2001 tahu (i don't normally say toa mata, as the term is quite bland to me) that was in september 2001, i got home, ran down to my basement, and craked it open and dumped it on the concrete floor..... i was hooked ever since, but i remember losing him when i was young, all i had was his mask and his weapon, but for some reason, i got this feeling, he was going to be in the closet in my living room, we were reunited, and it was love again lol

yes, I figured that people would pick that yellow komau, but i like the build of the white manas more, and the fact that in the realm of bionicle, I do not consider white a neutral color, even though I do consider black a neutral color (hints why i didn't say you could make a black nui-jaga, though you can) but I digress..... what would be cool, a dark grey nui-jaga (too bad it wouldn't be a pakari though, and I am quite a purest when it comes to what masks to use lol)

Yes, I am lucky enough to have all of the raging of the master builder set (meaning all 15, all original, thanks eBay and $15) but anywho, there are some I would have liked to put in the rahi list like the fusa kangaroo (basically a mini tarakave in function) which is my personal favorite, I will try to have another poll up tomorrow for some 2002/2003 if I can

Its funny, I read this topic 2 days ago, and I was like "I never have :(" even depressed that sad face in words, but today I found vorzahk (the green vahki) at goodwill for $1.00, I was so happy

actually, my question would be... where did you get the white huna, brown komau, and navy blue matatu (all you need is maroon huna! (and yellow huna and ruru lol)
