There's a story behind that. I was having trouble finishing my COT LSO entry, and I was certain the deadline had passed while I was typing, but I sat down and finished the thing anyway and posted it in the entry topic. Turns out there was an error in the deadline - my comedy is in the contest! Yay! - but if I thought it was lost when the fictional deadline had passed, it wouldn't be. I'm glad I stayed up to finish typing. Never give up. Just don't do it.
