Yeah. Basically he could fold his suit up like paper, and hide it in his suitcase. Everything could be flat and folded, yet work just as good as the regular armor. Never made sense to me, even if it's Tony Stark.
Agreed. That's a little over-the-top, although comics are sort of famous for straining suspension of disbelief in favor of the Rule of Cool.
