Saw someone mentioned The Gorillaz a while ago. I like a few Gorillaz songs. Odd, yet fun and catchy. Definitely different than anything I usually listen to, and I give 'em props for that.

Ugh, I just cant get around to listening to his solo stuff, kinda like any other thing Phil Anselmo does like with Down, or even his new solo band called Phil Anselmo and the Illegals. They released their first album Walk Through Exits Only recently, I believe. Overall, I should look into singers' solo projects sometime. lol

Well Sinclair, I can't seem to like Pink Floyd either, for those reasons you gave for Zeppelin. But have you listened to the Chuck Berry/Elvis-inspired (rather covers) songs by LZ? You should look up C'mon Everybody/Something Else from Royal Albert Hall by them. (C'mon Everybody is by Eddie Cochran, btw) I can suggest many more songs of those don't work for ya.

Aside from my slight Nightmare Before Christmas reference as the title, that is my first thought when creating one of these newfangled "blogs". Well, so far I think this sounds better than that show "Dog with a Blog". At least the concept. But how should I end each entry? Something... er... unique. Different in the least. So, without wasting much more of your time: Bananas.

That's an interesting thing to think about, really (plus it'd sound kind of better). I'm wondering what other metal songs could be great without lyrics now...

No liking to Kill 'Em All? Well ok. Honestly, riding in a car with MoP playing makes me sleepy. I'm not saying I'm into really heavy stuff, either, it just does that to me. Personally, KEA is my favorite, but I understand why people like RTL more, for it's more stable sound and whatnot. KEA is just so crazy with sudden solos and sheer loudness. You have not listened to Hit the Lights if ya haven't listened to it goin down a highway with it blasting. Hey, helped keep my mom awake while she was driving on a vacation trip. XD By the way, anyone like Diamond Head or other King Diamond-related acts? I really like Lightning to the Nations (album itself). Just wondering.

That's odd, then. Do those archives count topics before the merger? However, it's very close to when BZPower came to fruition, I believe.

Thanks for all your input, guys! I can kinda see this turning into some legend of sorts, which will be fun if it happens. But then what bones said asks another question: What was the first topic on "Pre-BZP" (or before the merge that created BZP)? It's very unlikely we'll ever really know that one, though.

I had a question, and I'm, of course, looking for an answer. The question is: What was BZPower's very first topic? Archives only chronicle to a certain point I believe, so I was wondering what was before that. Now, can someone supply the answer? Thanks!

Smoke Monster and Gamzee (since they're some of the first people I've talked to on BZP), both have most likely changed their names or have been inactive for a bit.

Agreed. I'm really liking the '40s/'50s radio tunes that both Fallout 3 and New Vegas use. I'd say my favorite by far of 3 would be Roy Brown's "Butcher Pete". (Which is used in Fallout 3. So fun sounding, yet with the lyrical matter. A dichotomy, I believe it to be called.) For NV, oddly, I seem to gravitate more to Peggy Lee's "Johnny Guitar". Does get very tiresome after a while, though. Also, as some may know: I love Led Zeppelin.

Umbra's long axle piece that connected his whole weapon together, obviously. Takanuva SoL piece, Lewa Nuva's blades, Zamor Spheres (ugh, waaay too much), Inika and Piraka lower legs, etc. Bordakh blades were overused between 2004-2006/7. From my memory, they seem to have disappeared nearly in 2008. lol Also, the Hau. Think about it. Not only have we seen repeats of the same model (2001), but even different incarnations of it.

Well, I think it depends on how you see it. I'm not a diehard Sabbath fan, yet I enjoy them very much. I still found the album to be good. It does seem people are split over loving it or disliking it. Really no inbetween it seems. lol Haven't seen anybody outright hate it, though.
