m-scizor is a better support mon and swords dance user. mega chomp is a powerhouse, but too slow to sweep effectively. i really like him though. i'd mega chomp if just because he looks like such a beast. anyways so i've had a 22 carat run of bad luck. i started a platinum nuzlocke to give myself something to do; bidoof crits my starly, one of the mons i was looking forward most to training, i get nothing but garbage mons as my first encounter, so by the time i get to gardenia my squad is super grass weak except for budew who has no moves, so i get rekt by her. then i started a white 2 nuzlocke. more bad luck with encounters, some bad luck with cheren slays every mon i have except my oshawott and a purrloin, then my oshawott gets popped by a magnemite's sonic boom and i had to grind up a purrloin as it was the only surviving mon i had. insultingly enough, i lose it to a dunsparce that had rollout. what's a man to do? well, play Y. so i'm nuzlocking that atm and let me tell you i am not losing this one. i am fed up.

i cant stop thinking about how good an ice/fighting type sweeper would be. obliterates the more common walls in gliscor and landorus, bops dragons, slays blobs, tyranitar, and ferrothorn. only things that trouble it are aegislash, which is banned, and obviously rotom-w because rotom-w defies all established laws and is permanently anti-meta, and then like obscure like jellicent. give this hypothetical pokemon guts, or mold breaker + eq, or even something like wood hammer, and itd be stronk. it'd also be neutral to rocks. it would be weak to priority, though, and obviously have 0 defensive synergy since it's weak to almost all of the most common attacking types. but it'd b gud

i think rayquaza was meant to be special, and i doubt they'd retcon a gameplay mechanic like that partway through a generation (like itd be able to do it in ORAS if it was gonna get added at all). besides, the only thing mewtwo and quaza have in common is that they're the only legendaries that can mega evolve. maybe a tweak on mega evolution, legendaries dont need mega stones? itd make ubers more interesting, i guess. or are you just talking about anime lore Latias, Latios, and Diancie would like to say hello. OU legendaries dont count :^)

such a brilliant man. his contributions to his genre of literature and of fantasy are so taken for granted, too. it's a real shame, but i suppose that's the world we live in.

i'd assume nobodys in smash are more likely to be good than in other games since the only smash game that still appears consistentantly in tournaments is melee, meaning everyone who practices brawl, PM, or 4 is more than likely a 'nobody'

i felt similarly to you at your age. i think it's a good idea to find some sort of support system, be it a friend, parent, or counsellor, or even someone online. a lot of times those feelings of self loathing or depression at your age are a result of hormonal imbalances and don't mean you're actually mentally ill, and as you grow you'll naturally sort of out grow them. let someone know if you keep having suicidal thoughts, but don't try to use those feelings as a way of getting someone's attention. it's unfair to you and them. don't worry about so much, a lot of it won't matter in the long run. especially if some jerk is just trying to make you mad. ignore him! it'll be alright.

I keep holding out hope we'll get another one, since even the basic game was great. Doubt it's going to happen at this rate, though. dont worry too much friend; just because a series isn't yearly doesn't mean it can't continue. dark arisen only came out in 2013 i think smash 4 is balanced enough. purer games than it have thrived with worse balance, ssf4ae for example.

they can still be a helpful indicator of how good a character is, even if they aren't 100% precise. new, super powerful characters (i include bowser since he was buffed so drastically) tend to have a lot of people who leech onto them who aren't very good at the game who want a pocket character. especially little mac. anyway, changing gears from smash, i got dragon's dogma: dark arisen as a christmas gift. really a wonderful game that slipped out just at the end of the last generation- i deleted a long paragraph of fanboying, but trust me, it's a great game for any action, fantasy, or RPG fan and if you have a ps3 or 360 you should definitely pick it up.

everybody is so cynical a thread dedicated to pure negativity is redundant and i think that you are part of the problem for making our generation as negative and depressed as it is. you're just inviting people to be malcontents and whiners which are attitudes for losers and there's literally no reason to encourage anyone for being a loser. deep down, you're a sabotaging and bitter mess and i hate you for it. but yea naw this thread gonna get closed LOL

im kinda blue because the only games released in 2014 that i actually bought this year were smash and alpha sapphire, and neither were tremendously impressive so it feels weird having to pick a favourite between the two. like, i guess smash, but tbh they're 'new' games but old experiences. i guess smash?

catching them isnt really as bad as the fact that its just such a small chance of getting a usable one like they're all so dissatisfying even with the three free perfect IVs
