IC KOTAK: As Kotak reached the Ga-Koro docks, he saw what all the commotion was about; Strange beings in crystalline armor on an equally strange vessel were currently arriving on the island. Kotak knew most everything there was to know about his Island home, but these beings.... They were new. New meant opportunity. He moved through the crowd, using his shield to gently nudge onlookers aside, until he was closer to the waters edge. He needed to find out whether these people needed work done. OOC: still open for interaction.

IC HAKI: It was at this point that the Turaga spoke up once more, "What has happened to Le-Koro....? These...swarms of beetles are like none I've seen, and that disturbs me, given my age." He chuckled once, then became serious once more, "how can we help?"

OOC: right? Takes some serious thought, but it's definitely rewarding when you get it right. IC MIRIN: If it is not too much trouble, I would remain here a while longer. There is much I must think about.... I will return soon." With that, she ran and jumped into the ocean waves.

IC MIRIN: Mirin slowly opened her eyes, "It is indeed." She spoke in a soft voice. "Turaga, I have no idea how I came to this island, but more importantly, I am unsure of my destiny." She stared out to the horizon, "it disturbs me greatly."

OOC: Kotak from Po-Koro. IC KOTAK:As the lean Ko-Toa approached Ga-Koro, he noticed that most of the village was gathered at the docks, surrounding a large, strange vessel. "Seems there are visitors, he thought, and made his way to where the crowds had gathered. OOC: open for interaction.

IC KOTAK: "nice to meet you?" The Ko-Toa thought, "I nearly freeze your head solid, and I'M nice to be met?!" He shook his head. "Much obliged," he said, mostly out of formality, and turned to leave the village once more. OOC: Korak to Ga-Koro.

IC KOTAK: Kotak stopped, surprised the Lightning Toa had heard him. He looked back, "Heard any news out of Ga-Koro?"

IC KOTAK: Kotak sighed. "Seems I wasted my time and money coming here." He thought. Turning to look at the Rahkshi-esque Toa, he replied, "If not for my lack of funds, I'd agree, but it would seem that I'd best be moving on." As he turned to walk out of the village, he muttered to himself, "I haven't been to Ga-Koro in a while...."

Probably busy with the Dasaka landing in Ga-Koro.

IC KOTAK: "88?," he thought. "What sort of name is that...?" "I'll pass on the drink, I'm looking for work here in Po-Koro." He said. "I don't suppose you know anyone looking for freelance workers?"

IC KOTAK: Kotak narrowed his eyes, and activated his mask. The Akaku adjusted and after a moment, chirped. With a flourish, Kotak sheathed his halberd and shield and relaxed ever so slightly. Extending his hand, he spoke formally, "Kotak, Toa for hire at your service."

OOC: oh, this might turn bad. That sounds awesome, though! IC KOTAK: Taking a better look at whoever had bumped I to him, Kotak saw before him what looked like a big mutant Rahkshi. And it was talking to him. In a flash, his shield was up, and his long halberd was at the throat of the creature, cooling the air around it as it brimmed with elemental energy.

IC ANDREX: After waiting for some time, Andrex was seriously in need of standing up. He quietly told Hua that he would be just outside, then stepped out of the Akiri's hut and stretched his aching back. He looked around the village, "if not for the small tunnels, I think I could like this place." He thought. OoC: open for interaction.

IC HAKI: "Ah, you are observant. I suspect you are right, as there is much here to be eaten, yet it remains untouched.... I fear this is no natural swarm...."

OOC: what is your character, Pohatu? I'll edit later. IC KOTAK: After being nearly bowled over, Kotak snarled, "Watch where you're going!"

IC Haki: the Turaga looked around. In the distance, he could still hear trees falling. "It would seem they've moved on."

IC MIRIN: The Toa of water eventually found her way back to the beach where she'd woken up. Sitting cross legged in the fine sand, she began to meditate on the events of the day. OOC: open for interaction.

OOC: where did samguivox get waffles and syrup....?

IC Haki: "Excellent! Let us move quickly, my old joints are not fond of cold." Leaning on his staff, the Turaga quickened his pace. OOC: Yay! We have a story moving!

OOC:I think they're both at Turaga Sanguivox's house. At least Vaisaga is for sure. Dunno about Teide.

IC Kotak: It had been a few hours, but the lean Ice Toa hadn't been able to rest. Eventually, he left, deciding a walk would at least give him something to do. As he wandered the bazaar of Po-Koro, he pondered what sort of job his next one would be. Secretly, he hoped it wasn't anotther delivery job. Though he'd never turn it down, he'd been getting dull in his combat, and knew that he would only get worse if he didn't get some Mercenary work soon. OOC: open for interaction.

OOC: Tiragath, is your PC Miya still in this? Also, man, that took a bit of hammering out. Hopefully the different plot will work out alright. IC Mirin: "If it is not too much trouble, I will return to the beach where I woke, Turaga. I would like to meditate. Please come find me when all is ready." OOC: Mirin to Ta-Wahi beach.

IC Haki: Haki looked to the frightened Matoran. "Young one, though the perils of Le-Koro are great, we must find out if there are any survivors. I imagine that most of this horde are moving through the jungle, and Le-Koro should be relatively...passed over. Regardless, it is our duty to help those fleeing and find them safe haven." OOC: Wise Turaga is a little difficult to write, I gotta say.

OOC: ouch. No love for alchemist Haki. IC HAKI: "It is of little consequence now, we should make haste to Le-Koro!"

OOC: yeah, apparently unless nuju is in control, we can't direct them at all. Soooooo IC: "if we stand our ground, we will be overwhelmed and destroyed, we must clear a path to Le-Koro!"
