  1. IC HAKI: "They will do for now, my friends," he said, finally pullin a strange spiky plant and what appeared to be bits of dead grass from his satchel. Using what little elemental power remained to him, he quickly ground the plants to a finely mixed powder, and sprinkled it in a circle around them, then tossed the remaining in the air to lightly cover everyone. "If I am correct, this should make them go around us, rather than overwhelming us here. Mata Nui willing, that is."
  2. OOC: Solitak, actually. IC MIRIN: "darkness. A large cavern, a great door.... Strange artifacts." Mirin looked troubled. "I am unsure of what I saw."
  3. IC HAKI: "my name is Haki, and it seems my destiny lies here." The aged Turaga reached into his satchel searching for herbs to repel insects.
  4. IC MIRIN: realising she was completely gone to the view of her peers, Mirin quickly deactivated her Kanohi, "my apologies, I had a.. A vision." Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she added, " no matter, let us continue."
  5. OOC: mind if I throw a Turaga into the mix? The Le-Wahi jungle was not one of Turaga Haki's favourite places on the island, but he had felt compelled to travel this way, and he had always followed these whims, as they often took him to where he needed to be. As he came I to a clearing, a large tree came crashing down, and a gathering of Toa and Matoran staring at a rapidly advancing swarm of beetles. "Mata Nui, you certainly know how to best test us." He thought to himself and stepped forward.
  6. Makuta. The word sent shivers down Mirin's spine. Visions of darkness, caverns and other places she'd never seen flashed before her. It was a short time later she came to her senses. "What strange times these are, to have so much power in one word..." She thought. She looked up, and found that she'd unconsciously activated her mask, and was currently unseeable to all in the room.
  7. If you want the attention of a particular person (especially one as busy as Nuju), you should send them a PM rather than trying to shout out in a thread Oh, I hadn't realised he was busy. My apologies.... I also just pm'd with him the other day, I'd rather not take up his time.
  8. Twenty thousand?! Wow, that's.... That's a lot. Congrats! >.> also if NUJU METRU ever sees this, one of my characters is currently waiting to see if Nuparu is open for visitors.
  9. IC MIRIN: "I have one," Mirin spoke up. What sort of evil is this you are leading us against?"
  10. OOC: careful not to break the fourth wall yourself. IC MIRIN: It struck Mirin as strange that a Turaga was to lead a dangerous quest. She asked suddenly, "Turaga, do you guide the people in this village?"
  11. IC MIRIN: "I would gladly help you, Turaga."
  12. OOC: My apologies, I was AFK. IC MIRIN: Mirin heard the sound of a familiar voice, calling her name. She stood and turned around to see the Turaga from before. She bowed quickly to the elder, "Turaga! I'm sorry I rushed off like that, I heard a cry for help in the distance, and went to investigate. You mentioned you were looking for people to go on a quest?"
  13. Everyone is just a sockpuppet of me. *clenches fist* Exactly as foretold! But, man, for such a big RP (or at least, what I perceive as one, I could be wrong.) It's amazing how just a few people keep the story moving.
  14. Just out of curiosity, How many members are actively posting at any given time?
  15. IC ANDREX: Andrex cursed himself silently. "First person I meet in this place, and I go and make him mad. Some wise Toa I am." He thought. The rest of the trip was silent save for the sound of footsteps and the flame burning in Andrex's palm. When they finally came to the open area of Onu-Koro, Andrew was relieved to be able to finally stand fully, and then immediately disappointed again as he had to duck down again into a small(?) earthen hut.
  16. IC MIRIN: "I see...." Mirin said softly, disappointed to a small extent. She noticed the rather eccentric Skakdi squatting down level with the young Matoran, and for whatever reason found him... Charming, as it were. She couldn't recall who, but he reminded her of.... Someone else. On a whim, she also squatted down, and gently asked, "may I know your name?"
  17. IC ANDREX: Noting the bluntness of the Matoran's words, as well as his increased pace, Andrex became somber. "I'm sorry if I offended, little one," he spoke. "If it is not too much to ask, what happened?" OOC: I'm actually unclear on what happened to all the Turaga. Sad that they aren't around, they were some of my favourite characters.
  18. IC ANDREX: "Much obliged," Andrew replied, relieved that he would soon be somewhere at least more open. He began walking a short distance behind the Onu-Matoran. "Your people are not led by a Turaga?" He asked.
  19. Andrex sighed. "If it means getting to somewhere I can stand properly, I'll gladly follow. I awoke in the darkness of these tunnels, and I've no idea or memory of how I came to be there, or in fact what this place is. Does Onu-Koro have someone I can ask about this place?"
  20. IC MIRIN: Mirin looked sternly at the young Matoran, "you should not judge by appearance, young one." She then addressed the other Toa, "is there some way to acquire the local currency through freelance work?"
  21. OOC: Kotak to Po-Koro The wind blasted Ko-Toa finally entered the village of Po-Koro. It was his first time posting for a job here, and ordinarily he'd never set foot here. But, it was either here or Ta-Koro, and there was no way he was going there. He walked over to a public board, pulled a posting that he'd prepared several weeks earlier, and with a quick use of his elemental power, pinned it to the board with a spike of ice. "That ought to last a while." He thought. He then left and found the nearest inn, and paid for a room with what was left over from his last job in Onu-Koro. The posting was a simple one, stating his availability for any variety of jobs, and where to find him at the closest inn. OOC: open for interaction
  22. IC ANDREX: After Andrex managed to wrest his sword from the stone ceiling, he heard the matoran before him speak, "My name is Hua." There was a slight pause, then in a different tone, he said, "Something tells me you ain't from 'round these parts." Andrex found the informality in the Matoran's speech strange. "I'm actually not even sure what parts I'm around. I don't suppose you could fill me in?" He asked. ".....and maybe help me find a way out of here?"
  23. OOC: misclicked and posted this. If any mods see this, this post can be deleted. Fragging mobile buttons being finicky.....
  24. OOC:are the three virtues still a thing? IC MIRIN: "it would seem we are all unsure of where we are."
  25. OOC: Eh, I think I can work around it somehow. Nothing came to her, though. She asked the bartender if he'd heard anything, and he explained that a small encounter had happened just out side, and that those involved were headed to the Ta-Koro guard HQ. "Guards.....? Maybe there I can find the answers I'm looking for." she thought. After getting a description of the area, and how to get there, Mirin took off across the rooftops at top speed, and eventually found herself in front of the HQ. She stepped inside, and noticed four people gathered at the front desk. "Those must be the people involved in the altercation...." she thought. "Excuse me?" She said aloud. OOC:Also probably heading to bed after this.
