Kaelen- CaveIC: "Can we contact them through the Team crests?" Kaelen said after the long explanation. "You know how they are made, so surely you could tap into their Team network. I think that the situation is extreme enough to bypass a few rules."

Kaelen- CaveIC: The pieces were starting to come together in Kaelen's mind. It seemed that he had gotten himself into something big when he joined the Day Run."Excuse me." He as he stepped forward. "I think I have something to add. Shortly after joining Team Wing, I ended up following a series of energy pulses into the city. After arriving at the source, I found a battle going on in a warehouse in the Northern District over a sword of immense power. I joined against the Ring member Dalmia just as it was ending, but was unable to prevent him from making off with the light half of the blade.Dalmia left the dark half with the matoran who had found it first as way of thanks for locating it for him."He paused for a minute to pull out his datapad and push a few buttons on it. Because whatever did happen has alot to do with what is going on right now.In particular, what went on inside that cave? I know that somebody was "Sacrificed" But other than that I'm in the dark."

Kaelen- CaveIC: Kaelen followed the rest of the group into the cave and took up a position by the wall. While everybody was getting situated, a thin trail of iron dust made it's way from him, outside the cave, before dispersing into the air. If anybody else approached the cave, Kaelen would know.

Hm, I've always had problems with writing wordy stuff.

Yeah, sorry about that. I realy wanted to do something and I did wait a day or two before leaving.At the moment there is a treasure hunting expedition being set up, if you get there really soon I'm sure you could get on it.There is also a meeting of variouse people planning on taking down the Director and Lyxek in a cave near the Day Run Garage.Last major thing that is going on right now, is the current arena match in which one of the contestants just caused the valcano that was the terrain to erupt.Edit: Gah, majorly Ninja'd

Day Run- GarageIC: At Alan's signal, Kaelen flapped his wings and took to the air, causing a small duststorm with the force of his flight. He followed is team leader towards the cave with the rest of the group.

Thomas Hunter- AA GunIC: The enemy sniper was quickly hit by a return shot from Thomas, who was already on the lookout for unfriendlies. He turned his gun on the rest of the enemies moving towards them and fired the rest off his clip into them as they moved forward.Several needler rounds impacted into the outer wall of the emplacment they were in, causing a small explosion while Thomas reloaded his rifle. Turning around the courner, he fired into the group of enemies again, killing a Brute, a Rebel with a Battle rifle and wounding another human, before ducking back into the cover of the Ainti-Air Gun.

Thomas Hunter- AA GunIC: As the Marines moved across the open area, Thomas kept an eye behind them with his scope. Without turning his head he spoke to the ODSTs behind him. "Anyone see anything?"OOC: Would anybody else in my squad like to post soon?

Thomas Hunter- AA GunIC: "Been quiet since we got here Charlie-Red." Thomas replied. "Come on over. We'll cover you."

Kaelen- Day Run GarageIC: As a veritable hoard of beings decended on the spot almost as soon as Kaelen had answered, he looked back up at Alan and said, "Nevermind. Are you coming down, or do you plan to talk from up there?"OOC to the post below: He hasn't posted since I did last.

Kaelen- Day Run GarageIC: "Not yet." Kaelen answered as the Guild member landed next to him. He looked up at where Alan was flying overhead, wondering what this was all about. Kaelen had wanted to ask a few things but figured it could wait until everybody had arrived.

Thomas Hunter- AA GunIC: For the most part the area around the Anti-Air Gun had been rather quiet, only the occasional Innie Human or Elite wandering over, trying to find out why the gun had stopped shooting. They were dealt with by a couple of shots from one or another of the snipers that the squad had in the area.That would only last so long though.OOC: Murphy? Who's that? Yes I know I'm asking for it.

Kaelen- Day Run GarageIC: His datapad beeped to tell Kaelen that the scan was done. He stood up and stretched, working out the kinks that had settled in after almost an hour of sitting in a meditation position. He had found only a few slighlty rusted parts here and there, easily fixed.With the last kinks and stiffness worked out, he turned and started towards the entryway of the Garage, wondering how many other people were going to be at the meeting.

Thomas Hunter- AA GunIC: While Katrina was on the radio, Thomas reloaded his pistol and put it back into it's holster. When he had done that, he grabbed his rifle off of his back and checked to see that a full clip was inserted.With his weaponstaken care of, Thomas took up a position just inside the hole with his rifle ready to blast any enemies who decided to figure out why the AA gun had suddenly stopped shooting.

Thomas Hunter- BattlefieldIC: Thomas nodded and set off running. He dashed from cover to cover until he got back to the AA gun, whereupon he ran through the hole created earlier.When he reached Beyer, he handed him the laptop and leaned against the inner wall of the gun, panting slightly.

Thomas Hunter- BattlefieldIC:Only after the dead Brute fell down did Thomas notice the laptop that had fallen from the Innie tech. He leaned over and picked it up, wondeering what was on it."I think these were the hackers Ma'am." He said, holding up the computer. "One of them dropped this when I kicked him in the face. Do we happen to have a tech expert on the team?"OOC: I was hoping I would get something like this when I kicked that guy.

Thomas Hunter- Piece of scrap metalIC: Thomas turned back to the Brute who, somehow, was still alive. Not bothering to stop and think about it, he fired off hurried a shot into the side off the Fuel Rod, hoping to divert it's path from Katrina's head. The bullet richoched off the metal barrel of the weapon and impacted into the cement underfoot. Not that anybody cared though.

Thomas Hunter- Hunting HackersIC: The punch knocked the breath out of Thomas' lungs and knocked him back a step. Luckly for him, he still had his M6C in his hand, and it did not take much breath to pull a trigger.Ignoring his burning lungs, he unloaded most of his clip into the area where the helmet did not cover the Brute's face. The shields held for the first few shots before popping, allowing the rest of the 50. caliber bullets to smash into the Brute Chieftan's face.When the Chieftan had pushed the piece of scrap metal, it had actually created more cover for Thomas and his companion. Moving quickly, he dashed oround the corner and kicked the first human that he saw in the face, knocking him out and causing him to drop what he was carrying.

Thomas Hunter- Hunting HackersIC: Unfortunately for Thomas and Katrina they were closer to the piece of wreckege than anything else. Thomas fired off a shot that hit the gunner of one of the vehicles, hitting him in the shoulder and knocking him off the turret as he ran the last few feet to the piece of scrap.When he got there, he slung his rifle over his back, allowing the magnetic clasps to take hold, and drew his pistol. With it held in front of him, he poked his head around the corner, ready to shoot the first person he saw.

Thomas Hunter- Checking the scrap metal IC: Thomas let Katrina move ahead of him, after all a sniper rifle was not exactly made for close quarters combat. Unless you were going to use it as a club, which he had no intention of doing.As they got closer, the click of keys and a soft murmer of voices became audible over the noise of battle elswhere along the course of the parade route. Thomas hadn't noticed before, but this area was much more quiet then the rest of the battlefield, only the occasional shot ringing out among the buildings.OOC: Vak,can we deal with the hackers?

Thomas Hunter- BattlefieldIC: Thomas checked Booker's location on his HUD, seeing that there was one spot that he did not cover. He started to move other there speaking into his helmet com. "I'm going to cover Booker's blind spot."He dashed from cover to cover until he got close to the piece of scrap. Moving slowly to avoid making noise, he started to creep up on it.OOC: Mind not blowing the AA gun yet Skarloth? We might need it soon.

Thomas Hunter- BattlefieldIC: While the others looked at the AA gun, Thomas was still looking for snipers in the other buildings. He spotted one and sent a round into it's head."That thing can be controlled remotely right?" He said, still keeping an eye on the buildings across the street. "Then maybe somebody hacked it. If we can find and stop them, then perhaps we could get this thing to deal with that ship hovering above our heads. It will take time to get the captain of the Plateae back to his ship, assuming he is still alive that is. And even if he gets back there it will take even more time for it to get in the air and deal with the other ship."

Thomas Hunter- BattlegroundIC:Thomas didn't reply as he grabbed his rifle on the way off the vehicle. He dashed with the others over to the alley that they had taken cover in.When he got there, he raised his scope of his rifle up to his visor, allowing his VISR system to scan the dark windows of the buildings across the street. The result was several red outlines and a couple unknowns... and now green outlines, as a group of marines burst into one of the rooms with the Jackal snipers in it.As the group left cover, he kept his rifle trained on the area of windows that he had spotted the snipers in. The ones on the foofs were a little to busy with a group of Sangheili Rangers that had appeared soon after the fighting started.While they moved down the side walk, he spotted movement in one of the windows, as one of the snipers tried to take a shot at them. Since he was moving, Thomas decided that a head shot would be to risky, instead aiming for center mass with the high powered rifle. The end result was messy, not that Thomas had any time to observe that, as they continued down the sidewalk.

Thomas Hunter- Eiro Jima ParadeIC:"Thank you Ma'am." Thomas said saluting again. He walked over to the warthog and sat down by the other Tom. Punching him on the shoulder, he grinned and said. "You cant get rid of me that easily."Thomas had not been in enough battles to develop the sixth sense that kept most veterans alive in unexpected situations. However, there were a few people around that had developed it and Thomas could take his cue from them. It wasn't obvious, a changed stance, hands a little closer to to a weapon then normal for a parade or maybe they were scanning the rooftops in adition to the crowd.Most people would never notice things like these but Thomas was a sniper. Noticing things like that were important for a sniper to be able to do, wouldn't do to have your target suprise you and move out of the line of fire just as you were taing the shot now would it?Any number of tiny things could have set off the veterans, but just in case, Thomas pulled his rifle from his back and set the stock of it against the floor of the vehicle.OOC:With all these people getting all riled how could I not join in?
