  1. IC: Alfon "Hey, if the assassin's done talking about murdering me, I'm done too." I countered dryly, stepping past Plag and Tal.
  2. IC: Rungui "You think I'm ugly?"
  3. IC: Rungui "I don't know if you're aware of this, you little ####," Rungui began, clearly unimpressed. "But attractive people who boast about their looks at the expense of others? No one likes them."
  4. IC: Alfon "It sounds like I might have to kill you first."
  5. IC: Volin "I don't know about you, Arvas, but I'm kind of bleeding out." Volin sat on the ground, applying pressure to his stump. Blood trickled out of him and slowly oozed onto the ground, painting it crimson while he gradually lost colour in his face. The pain was unlike anything he'd ever felt before, forcing him into sharp breaths while he willed himself to not pass out, something he couldn't keep up for long if he didn't get any help soon. "If someone could grab the tourniquet and bandages out of my backpack before I die, that'd be ####ing swell."
  6. IC: Alfon "Your hear that, guys? I'm too dangerous to be left alive!"
  7. IC: Startled, the Rahkshi of elasticity snarled when the iron sprung up and coiled around it. The cocoon creaked and shuddered as the Rahskhi thrashed against it, yet held firmly enough to give Trava the time she needed to line up a shot. Distracted by its bonds, the Rahskhi only remembered the Lesterin’s presence when her dart suddenly embedded itself in the cheek of its faceplate, looking rather comical as it stuck out. Seeing the Rahkshi trapped, Trava’s plans for a false swipe rapidly shifted towards thoughts of an actual attack. All she had to do was step forward, jam her knife in its eye, and that would be the end. It was a golden opportunity. Or so she thought. Just as she stepped forward and brought the knife up, the Rahkshi’s head rapidly snaked out and bit into her forearm, sinking its teeth deep into her flesh and nearly forcing her to drop her knife. Breaking free without causing further serious injury, she shuddered as the rest of the Rahkshi’s body squeezed out from the cocoon’s tiny hole, contorting and stretching at impossible angles but at the cost of leaving its staff entombed. Slowly regaining its composition, it stood tall once more and advanced. Arvas, still present with the option to strike from behind, moved in. The Rahkshi, however, knew that he was coming this time. Whirling around, it knocked the Fe-Toa to the ground with another elastic punch and didn’t waste a second to pounce on him. Before Arvas could even react, a hail of iron fists came beating down on him, hammering his face, his ribs, anywhere they could reach. Throwing up his arms to defend himself was all he could do to shelter himself from the torrent of pain, until, miraculously, it stopped. After a moment of relative silence, Arvas peeked out from an emerging black eye and noticed that the Rahkshi was still. Lifeless. A knife was wedged deep into its eye and blood dripped from its socket onto his face. Trava suddenly kicked the carcass to the side and held a helping hand for Arvas to take. The laser Rahkshi was right on Oceanna’s tail, slowly but surely catching up to her. Its eyes began to glow red, followed by a whitehot beam of light that struck Oceanna full-on in the back, causing her to lose focus and control of her flight. It was enough to slow her down, and just as the Rahkshi got within slashing distance, Rannin fired. Instantly, the Rahkshi went limp and came crashing down to the ground, apparently dead. Hesitantly, Rannin rushed over to inspect the Rahkshi. Through the gap in its faceplate, he could see the metallic green slug impaled cleanly by his metal spike. It twitched with the spasms of a dying animal, making a wet gargling noise instead of a hiss. Within a few seconds of further observation, the Kraata died. Hammerlock’s electric blade sent sparks flying when it collided with the anger Rahkshi’s hip joint, scorching the metal and breaking it down as he relentlessly drove his blade in. His maniacal laughter intensified when he forced it onto its knees, and his fury showed no signs of slowing. He tackled the Rahkshi onto its stomach and pinned it down, proceeding to melt a hole in its back by keeping the blade in continuous contact with its armour. Eventually, the plating gave way and exposed the Kraata, which he stabbed repeatedly. His madness only wore off a few moments after the creature’s death, and in the sudden clarity restored to his mind, he realized was drenched in blood. The chameleon rahkshi, seeing its brethren fall one by one, turned tail and flew off into the right-side path. Toshiko watched for any signs of ambush, though it didn’t appear the Rahkshi would be making a return anytime soon. For now, it appeared that the hunters had won. OOC: Done.
  8. OOC: Sorry about the wait, fellas. IC: Viloz Within ten minutes or so, Viloz came back with hot plates of food and set everyone's order in front of them. "Eat up."
  9. IC: Rungui "Is your self-esteem really that low?"
  10. IC: Alfon "Confidence, Plagia. It's always the first step."
  11. IC: Rungui "Dal, your face is drooping."
  12. IC: Alfon "Don't worry, we'll have plenty of time to work on your routine aboard the Invernavika." I said reassuringly. "Tell me, how good is your dancing?"
  13. IC: Alfon "You'd make a terrible cheerleader."
  14. IC: Rungui "Are you...having a...stroke...Dalrin?"
  15. IC: Rungui "It was." Rungui said in between a yawn and a stretch. "Almost thought you'd pop an aneurysm in there." He paused mid stretch. "You know what an aneurysm is, right?"
  16. IC: Alfon "Your faith in my ability is truly inspiring."
  17. IC: Alfon "Tell you what, Tal. Once we wrap up our business in Ko, we'll have a proper showdown, okay?"
  18. IC: Alfon "You've got it all wrong, Skri. We're not the depressing ones, the alcohol is! Y'know, 'cause it's a depressant?"
  19. IC: Rungui "Yeah, I'm ready." the doctor confirmed, giving Dalrin's father one last wave. "It was nice meeting you guys. See you around."
  20. IC: Alfon "And so the prophecy foretold that at the end of his days, the chosen one would lay in eternal rest with the meanest alcoholic to ever grace his lonesome existence."
  21. IC: Alfon I looked back at Reo. "I ain't able to fly."
  22. IC: Alfon "Tell me about it."
  23. IC: Alfon "Lohkar knows what's up."
  24. IC: Alfon "You're a real charmer, Tal."
  25. IC: Alfon "Only the coolest nerd around, dawg."
