  1. OOC: I thought maybe one of these guys here may be of help or maybe not.IC: Kiron and Sulkua.Sulkua started saying something when the bugs seemed agitated and flew off. Sulkua looked around and saw the shadow of a person behind a building who slunk off. The others didn't seem to notice the being. He wondered if he should tell them.Kiron suggested trying to find some person native to the place or a person who may know who exactly they were searching for.

  2. IC: Kiron and SulkuaDawn was signalled in Onu-Wahi by the increasing movement in the city. The two Toa paid the price of the room and headed out. They came across Jagorik who was searching for Erken. The three quest members quickly searched the bazaar for him.

  3. OOC: I am not online for tomorrow so you guys (Toatapio and Rataka.) should take this time to rest a while as we've been pushing the plot quite fast for the past few days. :P Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I dislike the way Jagex starts advertising member stuff blatantly in F2P worlds. Oh, forgot to introduce myself. My RuneScape name is Mantaxno 5 and my level is 39 or something. I've been making very little progress in the past 2, 3 years so... yeahr. My present set is adamant.

  5. OOC: Kiron, Sulkia, Erken and Jagorik from Le-Wahi.IC: Kiron and SulkuaThe dour crossed the tunnels into the Great Mata-Nui Tunnel Expressway. Some parts were enough to drive 20 Ussals side by side, some parts were no more than drill cutting into rock. The group had just finished the last of their rations when they stumbled into Onu-Koro. The four replenished their rations from some nearby markets and were finding a place to rest.Sulkua pointed to an inn."I'm worn out. Let's get some sleep."The rest mumbled in agreement.Sulkua crashed once he reached his bed.Kiron was awake for some time, and had a lot of time to think. He remembered the day his team was destroyed. Sulkua was scarred visibly from it but Kiron hid his mental scar. He knew it was his fault that they died. He was lagging behind the rest as he noticed swiftly dissapearing tracks. He should have told the others but he did not. He heard the clash of weapons too late. Sulkua was alredy chasing the minion, already running in Po-Koro's direction. He had kept the truth from Sulkua. Kiron slept with his eyes tearing.OOC: Boo-hoo... :(

  6. IC: Kiron and Sulkua"Come on, let's get up to the tunnels," Sulkua woke everyone up.The four shared some burned and/or stale meat and trekked off to the North. The four of them reached a tunnel with a broken sign that said " n -k ro""This must be it," Kiron lead the way in and Sulkua handed out the lightstones he bought in the bazaar.OOC: Kiron, Sulkua, Erken and Jagorik to " n -k ro", I mean Onu-Koro.

  7. The figures were probably just similiar as it was quite a generic theme. I got seven of the fi?cures or something. It my be similiar in idea but just similiar. Also, TLG probably doesn't own a copyright of the idea, right? I could make a checklist and figures like them if I could. But you are right in the similarity. Besides there are much, much, MUCH more brands which directly copy the Lego brick, stories and all that. There even has been sets modelled after Hero Factory sets. So this isn't much but there is a vagueness that avoids lawsuits. Also, TLG probably does not own a copyright of the idea or layout. Legal stuff is really wishy-washy so it's hard to decide if they are liable.

it's horrible, i go to walmart, and find nothing but playmobil and megabloks figures. well, i did find ONE series 5 bag in the pile of HF 3.0 canisters, but still, that's just stupid how they're trying to rip off lego!

Besides, megabloks and playmobil are the big rivals. There are more brands ripping off TLG by copying the brick design. I've seen it lots of times. Fortunately those copy-brick brands do not sell much or at all. :P
  8. Are you seriously analyzing a children's movie as if it were a deep novel?

tried to create a movie with multiple themes and universal application

Nonsense. It was a movie to sell BIONICLE ets. There no some ulterior altruistic motive to spread deep moral philosophy. You're right that they got a mess, but not incomprehensible. Because there's nothing to comprehend. You can analyze everything and interpret it in every single way. Hence most religious schisms. You can pretty much find any conclusion or message in the movie if you look hard enough. While overanalyzing and logical leaps may increase your peer's opinion of your intelligence, it's obvious this is all the work of the analyzer. B3:WOS may have had some messages inside, but it's the product of a consumerist society who makes movies to promote children's toys. That's what it is. Just like not all abstract paintings represent something (many time they are just have an aesthetically pleasing composition), this movie doesn't have a deep message.Your analysis is repectable, deep, and logical, but nevertheless silly. Most of the "esoteric truths" are rather superficial, and most is simply overanalysis. And the arsenic begins flowing into my drinks....
He's not overanalyzing, just that every story we tell, be it movie, book or whatever, has a deeper meaning attached to it. Do you think GregF plucked stories from his head and said hey this is a great paycheck. No, it comes from experiences, other books and all that which is deeply rooted into our heads. Even words we use are indirectly linked, and we do not realise it. That's why I'm sometimes good or bad in literature. Hidden meanings and links exist even though you do not realise it. Even if you wrote a kindergarten story, there are inferences in every sentence. You toust have to search for them. TLG may not have wanted to make it so complicated, but with a storyline like Bionicle, there will be hidden meanings and links so bizarre you would never suspect them. I think maybe we should cool off our words for a while.Phew, that was a mouthful. Now, where's my water...
  9. IC: Kiron and Sulkua"How did you sense him?" Kiron asked."Mask of Rahi Control. Come on, let's find someplace else," Sulkua said. The four of them came to a nearby foot hill, climbed to its top and set up camp.Sulkua took the first watch. He had lots of time to think when he was guarding. When was the last time he was truly happy? He was always uptight as far as he remembered. Sure, taking things seriously is important, but he always felt stress build-up inside of him. He also had a special reason to hate Makuta. His original team was quite a happy family. They even got him to warm up his cold interior. Then, disaster had struck. One of Makuta's favourite minions ambushed the team and killed all except him. Kiron was saved too, but only because he was wandering off behind the group. The minion had then gone on a rampage, destroying half of Po-Koro, the village nearest to them then. Sulkua attacked savagely, crippling the minion. When he was pulled off the minion, there was nothing anyone could have done to revive it. Sulkua was scarred mentally, fearing he never save those he loves again. He went back to being a loner as he was when he was a Matoran.Evening worse, he had indirectly violated the Toa Code."But I didn't kill him directly. Also, if nothing else can be done and if there is no choice, killing is not afault. And I didn't do it directly. One minion for countless other inhabitants.." Sulkua's tortured mind slept.Kiron saw Sulkua nodding off and decided to take over, but let Sulkua sleep on the tree trunk.OOC: Whew, long story. Just a little retrospective paragraph. Sulkua's constant moving in the quest and hidden insecurity is explained in this.

  10. IC: Kiron and SulkuaKiron replied, "I have a Lava Curvesword. It was crafted by a crafter from Ta-Koro. He has seen much action in his years."A rustle in the bush nearby. The two on watch drew their weapons. Sulkua, who was just sleeping was awake and on his feet. He turned around in a flash to block a sudden attack by a Kane-Ra. Sulkua flash-froze it and turned around to see a Nui-Rama bearing down on Erken."Erken! Look out, behind you!" Sulkua warned.OOC:Wow, really sudden. :P

  11. OOC: Kiron, Sulkua, Erken and Jagorik from the Kumu- Islets.IC: Kiron and SulkuaThe four of them were pretty much lost in the forest when they came across a sign that lead them to Le-Koro.Kiron had finished his Bula Berries on their long trek. They asked for the location of tunnels to Onu-Koro and the answer was to walk into the forest even more.At the end of the day, the four set up a small campfire and got out their packs as pillows."So, what are your weapons, Jagorik?" Kiron attempted to make small talk with their newest quest member as they took the first watch. The physical activity had worn Kiron out, as he did not like exercise much and very rarely walked several miles through thick forest. Kiron knew Jagorik was a Vortixx and his equipment looked sophisticated. He hoped Jagorik would give an easy explanation.OOC: I realised I pretty much forced the situation on to you guys, not just this once. If I'm being to forceful and always hogging the scenario, PLEASE let me know. Thank you.
