I'm baffled as to why Sonic 4: Episode 2 has WORSE reviews than Episode 1! It fixes a lot of problems, like control and also physics! It's not perfect, but still a lot better!

It's probably people still upset about the fact that they went with a more Modern Sonic take on what should be a Classic Sonic game. And apparently also music, but I think that's just nitpicking since I haven't played the game myself. That said, I think that it's being exaggerated; but until I get a chance to play the two games, I'll never know for sure. =/

Hm.... Graphics-wise, Ep 2 is MUCH better than Ep 1. However, Ep 1 has more good-quality music tracks than Ep 2, though some tracks still shine in Ep 2. Gameplay-wise, both are very similar, though Ep 2 has Tails accompanying you, and therefore there are a couple puzzles requiring his assistance. Both have a tendency to put lots of springs and speed boosters in certain areas though. Like I mentioned earlier, the physics and controls are MILES better than Episode 1.
