  1. IC(Rerus):"Not a clue. No memory, remember?" I say.We come to a gruesome sight. Lying in the tunnel is a Toa-sized figure, drenched in blood and torn to pieces, with a broken spear in his chest. "So, Rahkshi," I say. "They do stuff like that?"
  2. IC(Rerus):"Well, we can keep moving, or we can go back and get our eyes replaced with crossbow bolts," I say. "You said there's one of these into each village, right?"
  3. IC(Rerus):After a while of walking, I ask, "So, besides the one we just entered, what do other exits open up to?"
  4. IC(Ignitus):I wake up.Darkness.Why is everything so dark?I hear a hiss of air, and light appears. I crawl out of the canister.I think to myself, trying to remember... what? Everything, I guess. My name is Ignitus. I'm from Torren. Where in Karzahni is Torren? My sword is called Vulcan. Wait, I have a sword?I look around, and see a sword hilt sticking out of the sand. I pick it up, and the blade glows red.I decide to examine my surroundings. I'm on a beach. There's a silver canister nearby, which is what I crawled out of. I see a dark tunnel not too far away, and walk to it. It smells, looks, and sounds ominous, but I have some feeling I should enter. So I descend into the darkness.OOC: Ignitus to Kini Nui(Mangaia)
  5. IC(Rerus):I feel another bolt flying straight past my mask. Whoever this is, he's a fixed good shot. I see a tunnel ahead, and dive headfirst in. It looks ominous, the noises coming from it are ominous, it even smells ominous, but it seems alot better than taking a crossbow bolt to the face, and I'm hoping that the ominousness might deter my pursuer. "Get in!" I yell to Jarkale.OOC: For anyone wondering, "fix" is intended as a replacment for "d*mn", similar to "Karzahni".
  6. IC(Rerus):"Alright. Let's..." I look over to an alley, seeing a dark figure in a trench coat, carrying a crossbow. And the crossbow is pointed straight at me.And there's a bolt flying straight at my mask.I dodge, cursing under my breath, and immediately run as fast as I can."Come on!" I yell to Jarkale.
  7. IC(Rerus):My name? What is my name? I realize suddenly that I hadn't even given it thought.'Rerus'... the word floats through my mind. It feels about right."Well," I say, "my name is Rerus." Another idea comes to me. "Which village has the best taverns? I could use a good drink."
  8. IC(Rerus):Reading his expression, I can tell that either waking up in a crater is unusual around here or something similar has happened in the past, something that probably had some sort of significance."Yeah, I did, but like I said, no memory. I might have a mission, but I have no idea if I do what it is," I say. "So, anyway, weird prophecy? Cities? Recent news? What can you tell me?"
  9. IC(Rerus):I think for a moment about what to say, eventually deciding to just tell him the truth."Not a clue," I say. "Woke up in a crater in the middle of the desert with no memory."OOC: Sorry, first RPG, so I'm still kinda learning exactly how it works.
  10. IC(Rerus):Walking through the streets of the village my guide had called 'Poke Ore Oh', I run into a yellow-and-gray Matoran."What do you want?" He says.Seeing my chance, I ask him, "What's your name?""Jarkale. Now, if you're done, I'm a little busy."Wow. Rude. Maybe he just doesn't like tall, strong, masculine Toa in his city. "Um... I'm... not from around here," I say, "and I was wondering if you could explain where this is. Someone else mentioned some cities, and some sort of riddle. He called this place 'Poke Ore Oh', I think. Anyway, I was wondering if you could fill me in on the other cities, the lay of the land, this riddle, all that stuff."
  11. IC(Rerus):Ow.I open my eyes, groaning. After staying down for a minute I get up and examine my surroundings. I'm in a desert. There's smoke everywhere. My backside hurts. I'm sitting in a twenty-foot wide crater.I struggle to my feet. "Where am I?" I ask aloud."Heh," says a voice behind me. "Yer in the Motara Desert. Welcome to Po-Wahi."I turn around. Standing there is a short being with tan and brown armor, covered in scratches. The word 'Matoran' floats through my mind."What desert? What on this earth is 'Pow Aihee'?"The stranger chuckles. "C'mon," he says. "I'll take ya to Po-Koro. I'm sure you'll find someone there who can tell you all about this great island."He begins walking, and I follow him. Besides where I am, though, one question still plagues my mind, one I don't think my guide can answer.WHO am I?OOC: Open for interaction in Po-Koro.
  12. What you got against Tahu?

  13. IGNITUS Status: Alive Gender: Male Species: Toa Alignment: Chaotic Neutral(Leans toward good. Usually.) Allegiance: The Inika Element: Fire Kanohi: Great Hau, Mask of Shielding Weapon(s): None Other Equipment: Gravus' Journal and Compass Dominant Hand: Ambidextrous Appearance: A lean Toa of average height, wearing black armor with dark red feet, greaves, bracers, upper arms, and a dark red Hau. This armor once belonged to Gravus. Of note are his strange eyes, with brown rings near the center and dark green ones surrounding it. Personality/Skills: On the surface, Ignitus has a free spirit, one which refuses to submit to any mortal being. But if one could go deeper into his mind, they would find that there is far more to him than this; Ignitus is haunted. Recently, he has begun having nightmares, recalling his actions as Ausar and the events of his life before Mata Nui. While certainly not untalented with his element, Ignitus' true talent lies in his swordsmanship. Notably, he consistently fights left-handed, as the angles of a left-handed swordsman are difficult for most opponents to defend against, due to the vast majority of right-handed fighters they are used to.. History: Ignitus' story starts like that of many on Mata Nui, pulling himself out of a mysterious silver canister on a beach in Ta-Wahi. With no memory of his past, he followed his gut and ventured into a dark tunnel, which he would later learn was the Dark Walk. There he met Rerus(another amnesiac Toa), Jarkale, JL, and Kiron. Feeling a sense of familiarity upon reading the Vault Riddle, he proposed a voyage after they had traveled for a little longer. Thus, the Red Star Voyage was born. Since he washed upon the shore, he had been having flashbacks of his past, eventually meeting two figures from his past, Gravus and Oriak. Oriak was taken into the Voyagers' captivity and Gravus joined the crew. Around this time, the flashbacks stopped, and the Voyagers obtained a ship, dubbed the Inika. Before setting sail, Ignitus had a short visit with the Abettor. The crew left Ga-Koro hopeful, but their first night was anything but; in the middle of the night, Oriak murdered Gravus with his own sword, and was subsequently executed by Ignitus. During the following days, Gravus was given a burial at sea, before the ship was attacked by Tarakava; despite managing to drive the beasts off, the crew went from the frying pan into the fire of a gargantuan, ancient, ugly sea monster, which was killed by shoving improvised explosives down its throat. This, while successful, resulted in the loss of his sword, Vulcan, along with nearly killing Ignitus himself. Due to the use of his Hau, Ignitus remained unharmed by the explosion itself, suffering relatively minor cuts and bruises, the worst being a tooth fragment lodged in his right knee. Since the night of Gravus' death, Ignitus' sleep has been tortured by nightmares of his past as Ausar, both his experiences and his own actions. Weakness(es): Cold and ice, obviously, as well as a tendency to go with his knee-jerk reaction rather than a more thought-out plan. Aside from both of these are his true problems, the demons that haunt him from his life as Ausar. MOERU Status: Alive Gender: Male Species: Dasaka Alignment: A weird spot between Neutral Good, Chaotic Good, and True Neutral Clan: Mamoru Caste: Menti Warrior Discipline(s): Soulsword, Mindarm Kanohi: Great Hau, Mask of Shielding Weapon(s): Kasai, a crystalline katana used mostly for ceremonial purposes; for actual combat, he usually uses a Soulsword katana that is nearly identical. Other Equipment: A navy and gold cape bearing the insignia of Clan Mamoru Dominant Hand: Left Appearance: A lean Dasaka of average height, wearing navy armor with gold accents, a crystalline breastplate, and crystalline greaves. Of note are his strange eyes, with brown rings in the center and pale blue ones surrounding them. Personality/Skills: Moeru's personality can be much like the weather: one minute, he can be a man of determined, steadfast loyalty to one goal, ignoring all else; the next, he may be jovial and friendly. The latter is generally how he is in day-to-day life, while the former is generally his attitude when handling more serious matters. Moeru is staunchly against going to war with Mata Nui, and sees the people of this newfound island as valuable potential allies and trade partners, along with the obvious moral reasons. While otherwise loyal to the Empire and Rora, this is the one thing that could cause Moeru to go against them. Few other Dasaka can best Moeru in sheer swordsmanship, that being his specialty. For this, he generally uses a Soulsword duplicate of his dull physical sword, Kasai, in place of the aforementioned sword. History: Born into Mamoru, Moeru is the brother of Toroshu Rida. Thus, he has always had even more pressure placed on him than the average male Dasaka. Thus, as soon as he was old enough to learn disciplines, he was taught the Soulsword and Mindarm disciplines in Sado. Now, being one of Clan Mamoru's few warriors, Moeru is in charge of protecting the clan and keeping order, which generally consists mostly of being his sister's bodyguard. Weakness(es): Moeru's strong feelings concerning war with Mata Nui can(and, at times, have) resulted in rash actions on his part. Besides this, both of his Menti disciplines drain energy rather fast, leaving him exhausted after a good bit of combat. RERUS Status: Alive Gender: Male Species: Toa Alignment: Neutral Good Allegiance: The Inika Element: Stone Kanohi: Great Pakari, Mask of Strength(shaped like Great Komau) Weapon(s): A mace found in Mangaia Other Equipment: None Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: A thick, muscular Toa standing nearly half a foot taller than average, Rerus is a truly imposing figure. His brown-and-gunmetal armor is also rather strong. Personality/Skills: A fairly jovial Toa, Rerus may be quick to anger, but he's also quick to forgive. He has an undying loyalty to his friends and allies. However, like Ignitus, he doesn't follow any specific code. Above all else, Rerus is immensely strong. History: Rerus hails from Torren. That's all anyone knows for sure about his old life. As far as he himslef remembers, he woke up one day lying in a twenty-foot-wide crater in Po-Wahi, walking away with nothing but a small dent in his backside. He was led by a Po-Matoran into Po-Koro, where he met Jarkale, and explained his situation. They were then attacked by a being they would later learn to be Oriak. They fled down the Dark Walk, getting entangled in a battle, and when the dust settled, Ignitus, Jarkale, Kiron, JL, and Rerus had met. The tale of the Red Star Voyagers had begun. They went to Le-Koro, and later Ko-Koro, where they were attacked again by Oriak, but a Toa named Gravus came and assisted in his capture. Gravus explained that Ignitus and Rerus were originally inhabitants of a land called Torren, which had been utterly destroyed by the Emperor, a tyrant named Radriar. In the following days, the Voyagers aquired a ship, The Inika, and are soon to depart in search of the answer to the Vault Riddle. Weakness(es): Even if he could swim(which he can't), his armor would still drag him straight to the bottom. XADAH Status: Alive and slightly drunk Gender: Male Species: Toa Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Allegiance: The Inika Element: Ice Kanohi: Great Miru, Mask of Levitation Weapon(s): A Protosteel Hatchet Other Equipment: Flask; three kegs of ale and four kegs of beer, all stored bellow-decks on the Inika Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: A Toa of average height and build, covered in white and cyan armor with blue eyes. Personality/Skills: Constantly sarcastic, Xadah generally works for whoever can pay the best; at the moment, it would seem that that would be the Inika's crew. He always - and I mean always - has some booze on him. As a result, his liver is very strong. History: As a Matoran, all Xadah's friends were killed in a Muaka attack. Having never been smart enough to be a thinker, or lawful enough to be a sentinel, he became a thief, a smuggler, and essentially a professional criminal, operating from a cabin in the Wastes outside Ko-Koro. One day, he was in Le-Koro and got drunk. There he met Ignitus, Rerus, Jarkale, JL, and Kiron, who recruited him for the Inika's voyage. Weakness(es): Besides the obvious weakness to heat and flame, Xadah has a habit of not thinking before acting. At all. And that's when he's sober. RIDA Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Dasaka Alignment: Lawful Neutral Clan: Mamoru Caste: Toroshu Discipline(s): Mindarm Kanohi: Great Faxon-shaped Sanok, Mask of Accuracy Weapon(s): A crystalline bow and twenty-two crystal-tipped arrows Other Equipment: Red and purple cape, quiver for arrows Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: A lithe, regal Toa with navy-and-gold armor with a crystalline breastplate, crystalline pauldrons, and crystalline greaves, Rida looks very fit for her position as Mamoru's Toroshu. Her dark emerald eyes have the determination of a leader in them at all times. Personality/Skills: A calm, responsible born leader, Rida is perfect for her position. She is rather loyal to the Rora, but it has been noted that Rida often isn't seen for entire days, sparking suspicion that she is working with rebels against the throne. However, these rumors currently have little to no basis. Rida has also never been known to miss a shot with her bow, as she is a good shot by herself, an infallible shot with her mask, and an infallible shot able to correct her arrows' courses with her Discipline. History: Rida has been Mamoru's Toroshu for longer than those of many other clans. In her time, however, she has done little of much significance, barring her recent disappearances and the associated rumors. Weakness(es): Rida's loyalties lie with her clan, and if she thought she could save them from harm, she would do almost anything. It's also been noted that she has some weird difficulties with Ideatalk. KASHIKOI Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Datsue Alignment: Neutral Good Clan: Mamoru Caste: Datsue Discipline(s): Sighteye Kanohi: Powerless Rau Weapon(s): None Other Equipment: Anything she has in her hut, primarily pots and pans for cooking and old books full of ancient tales. Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: An old, hunched over Datsue with navy and gold armor with crystalline breastplate and gauntlets and a red and purple robe, akin to those worn by the Turaga of Mata Nui. Personality/Skills: An old, wise, and slightly crazed Datsue living in an underground hut on Iki, Kashikoi spends most of her days now as a guru younger Dasaka consult for guidance. History: In her youth, Kashikoi was a talented Menti Sighteye, one of the best to ever come out of Mamoru. Eventually, however, she settled down in a hut in the mines of Iki, where people come to her from far and wide seeking wisdom. Weakness(es): Obviously, being so old, Kashikoi is a rather frail old woman, and wouldn't be able to survive if someone was to attack her home. TURI Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Dasaka Alignment: Chaotic Good Clan: Mamoru Caste: Ringti Discipline(s): Soulsword Kanohi: Great Huna, Mask of Concealment Weapon(s): A pair of crystalline Protodermis hachiwara Other Equipment: Cord for minediving Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: A lithe Dasaka a little on the short side, clan in blue and gold armor with a crystalline breastplate and cyan eyes. Personality/Skills: Turi is rather reckless for a Dasaka, having a rather rebellious and unconventional way of looking at things. History: Born into Clan Mamoru, Turi was always a bit... different. Never quite in line, she always had something to say, and would always rather be minediving. Eventually, this carried over to her spending time she was supposed to be working running around Iki, exploring mines and, when she found a suitable mine, minediving. She currently live with the old woman Kashikoi. Weakness(es): Turi, being relatively inexperienced, has very little familiarity with her discipline. SOKIA Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Dashi Alignment: Lawful Good Clan: Mamoru Caste: Ringti Discipline(s): N/A Kanohi: Powerless Kaukau Weapon(s): None Other Equipment: Cord for minediving, various tools for crafting things out of crystalline Protodermis Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: A short being, even by Dashi standards, Sokia is far from being an imposing figure. Her azure-and-gold armor has crystalline outer armor, as with all Dasaka. Sokia's turquoise eyes have a bit of an innocent, harmless look in them. Personality/Skills: A good-natured, hard-working crafter, Sokia has absolute trust in the Throne, believing the Rora to be chosen specifically by Zuto Nui. Sokia would never hurt a fly, and seems to be the exact opposite of Turi's reckless, carefree attitude. History: Like her friend, Turi, Sokia was born into Mamoru. Like her family, she eventually went on to craft things out of the crystal her clan mined from Iki. One day, a Dasaka looking for a job came to her asking for food, so she took her to the old woman Kashikoi, with whom Sokia lived(and currently lives). Eventually, Sokia became great friends with the Dasaka, a free spirit named Turi, and has been trying ever since to train her friend to use her abilities as a Soulsword to assist in the crafting. Weakness(es): Sokia has never been in a fight, and thus has no idea how to defend herself, let alone the fact that she would just be too scared. WARU Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Dasaka Alignment: Lawful Neutral Clan: Umbraline Caste: Menti Warrior Discipline(s): Sighteye Kanohi: Great Arthron, Mask of Sonar Weapon(s): A crystalline tachi, as well as a hidden honyaki as a backup Other Equipment: Purple Umbraline cape, hidden sheath in calf armor for knife Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: In her navy and gold armor, with her purple Umbraline cape and her regal orange eyes, Waru looks every bit an honorable warrior of the Empire. Personality/Skills: A cool, responsible woman, Waru is completely and totally loyal to the Rora and the Umbraline. If her duty required it of her, she would plunge into Karzahni headfirst. History: Born into Umbraline, Waru was raised to be an honorable warrior of the Rora and the Empire. Upon completing her training, Waru was one of the most talented Sighteyes her family had ever had. Recently, she has gone to escort several large shipments of Crystalline Protodermis from Iki to Sado, and is currently staying in a camp with her assistant. However, these shipments - and their departure - keep seeming to get delayed... Weakness(es): Besides the obvious weakness of not being able to maintain illusions while moving, Waru has no known weaknesses. TASUKE Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Dashi Alignment: Lawful Neutral Clan: Mamoru Caste: Saihoko Discipline(s): N/A Kanohi: Powerless Pakari Weapon(s): None(except maybe her pen) Other Equipment: Pen/42 pieces of paper for counting the shipments Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: An average-looking Dashi, with navy and gold armor, some crystalline bits on her chest and shoulders, and a navy tunic. Personality/Skills: Quiet and respectful, Tasuke's only real talent is keeping up with numbers, which comes in handy with her current job. History: Though born into Dastana, Tasuke has never really been good enough at anything to get a decent job. Thus, she's been stuck on Iki all her life, occasionally taking odd jobs from Mamoru Dasaka. Recently, however, Waru has hired her to keep track of the crystalline Protodermis shipments to Sado. Weakness(es): As mentioned before, Tasuke has few real skills, and is a mediocre fighter. YUJIN Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Dashi Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Clan: Mamoru Caste: Dashi Discipline(s): N/A Kanohi: Powerless Kakama Weapon(s): Crystalline pickaxe Other Equipment: Cord for mindiving, four bottles of water Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: An average Dashi of average build, wearing turquoise and gold armor with crystalline greaves and pauldrons, wearing a red and purple tunic. Personality/Skills: An extremely free spirit, even moreso than Turi, Yujin often ignores work altogether to minedive, and is one of the best on Iki. However, she manages to mine what she needs to sell to survive. She could honestly care less about politics, and cares for little more than her own freedom. History: Born into Clan Mamoru, it's often joked that Yujin was born minediving. Being one of the best minedivers alive, she's the one who taught Turi to minedive, and remains good friends with her today. Whenever either of them need a break from life, they will go find the other, find the nearest mine, and minedive, sometimes with Sokia, sometimes without her, due to her slight paranoia about the activity. Weakness(es): As with most Dashi, Yujin has no real experience with combat, in addition to her small stature and lack of powers. BANI Status: Alive Gender: Female Species: Dasaka Alignment: Neutral Good Clan: Mamoru Caste: Ringti Discipline(s): Sighteye Kanohi: Great Miru, Mask of Levitation Weapon(s): Crystalline katana Other Equipment: None Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: A somewhat short teal-and-gold Dasaka with a crystalline breastplate, pauldrons, and greaves. Personality/Skills: Bani is somewhat perky and naïve for a Dasaka. Besides this, she is also a very right-brain person, and this creativity is what lead to her job as an inventor. Though she has no inventions that have gotten far off the ground yet, her optimism tells her it's only a matter of time. Bani is known for humming various tunes whenever she works, to the annoyance of some and the pleasure of others. History: Despite having had the chance to be a Menti, Bani chose to be an inventor because of her highly creative nature. After speaking with the old woman Kashikoi, Bani believes with her entire mind, heart, and soul that she is bound to get an amazing invention one day. Weakness(es): Besides the standard Sighteye weakness of being unable to move while maintaining illusions, Bani's discipline is next to useless in her job. THERIN Status: Alive Gender: Male Species: Toa Alignment: Neutral Evil Allegiance: Makuta Element: Air Kanohi: Great Ruru, Mask of Nightvision Weapon(s): A pair of gloves with artificial Protosteel claws, which he intends to use once his plans to create a perfect Parakuka have come to fruition; until then, he simply keeps a double-edged dagger handy Other Equipment: In a vault in his home, he keeps a massive sum of Widgets; in his bunker in the Drifts, he has various forms of equipment for his experiments Dominant Hand: Right Appearance: A Toa slightly taller than average, of a regal, strong build. His armor is mostly a dark green, with a golden breastplate, golden pauldrons, and golden grieves. His eyes are a light blue, never giving away the vile creature that lies behind them until too late. Personality/Skills: A noble gentleman in the eyes of most, but a complete freaking monster when they turn away; Therin has been able to succeed so long at what he does because of this facade. He has no compassion for any of his victims, or for others in general. He has decent knowledge of combat, but his true weapon is intellect. His knowledge of Parakuka is nearly unmatched, due mainly to his years of studying them. History: For years, Therin has obsessed over the physicalities of Parakuka, and has thus revered their creator, Makuta. He poses as a wealthy friend to the people of Ta-Koro(the city where his mansion is located). Indeed, he is rich, but he is far from a friend to anyone but Makuta. He has been attempting to breed the perfect Parakuka for a long time now, conducting his experiments from a bunker located in the Drifts of Ko-Wahi. Here, he drags the victims(typically wandering travelers)of his experimentation(after using his power of air to suffocate them, causing them to pass out)to be bonded with his several Parakuka and drained of energy in a matter of weeks, fed enough to prevent starvation. Once they can no longer contribute to his pets' growth, he slits their throats, drags their bodies into the Drifts, and leaves them to be lost under the ice. Therin has killed many Matoran over the years, as well as several Parakuka who weren't growing or breeding large enough. He currently has four Parakuka in his bunker, all superb specimens currently bound to captive Matoran; one in particular, however, is currently the most powerful single Parakuka Therin has bred yet, a vile creature called Diabhal. Once Therin has created his ultimate Parakuka, he intends to bond with it, shed his public self, and carry out Makuta's will to the fullest. Weakness(es): Therin is completely unable to empathize with anyone who does not share his wish to carry out Makuta's goals; even then, he doesn't quite empathize with them, but he sees them as fellow servants of Mata Nui's brother, and thus feels willing to trust them. DIABHAL Status: Alive, bonded to a captive Bo-Matoran Species: Parakuka Alignment: Chaotic Evil Appearance: Despite this creature's superiority, it shares the same appearance as it's fellow Parakuka. Abilities: Quite simply, this is a near-perfect Parakuka, bred by Therin in his bunker. Its hosts are stronger, faster, and more aggressive than those of its peers. History: There's very little to put here. Diabhal was bred in Therin's bunker, and has been bonded to many an abducted wanderer since. Therin believes he may have created the ultimate Parakuka, but feels as though it could use something more...
  14. Bionicle. The return is IMMINENT, apparently.

  15. Bionicle. The return is iminant.

    1. Canis Lycaon

      Canis Lycaon

*COUGHCOUGH it's spelled imminent COUGH COUGH*

  16. I've been playing that for a little while. Do you know the combination, or if this has anything to do with the Tablets/Brotherhood?
  17. I see your point, but in case you don't remember, in 2008 I remember reading about how Lego had their plans figured out until 2011. So, assuming they're still planing that far ahead, they would probably have a more definite answer than saying it wasn't returning in 2013 specifically. They would have said something more along the lines of, "It definitely won't return during the next 3 years." Therefore, my theory is that either A.They are considering its return seriously in 2014. or B.They have already decided it will return in 2014 and they hope to surprise the fans and win back the loyalty of some. If you don't understand what I mean by "win back the loyalty of some", I'm a little more active on #######, and many there have turned away from Lego entirely because of Bionicle's end.Well, in my opinion, turning away from Lego because of Bionicle's end isn't exactly a good idea. Lego has a bunch of other themes.I've become more of a TFOL nowadays, and I plan on buying some more sets down the line (HF, Star Wars, Superheroes or otherwise) if all goes well. But I think you're right about Lego's planning. Who knows? I don't want to get everyone's hopes too high, but the future is full of possibilities. Finally! Someone who somewhat agrees with me!
  18. I don't buy that. What about the end would justify such a reaction? LEGO was forced into it financially, and they were very close to when it would have ended naturally anyways. There were three big blunders in it -- the Stars sets could have been a bit better in some ways, not having TLR be about the giant robot battle (IMO; you could argue a fifth movie instead, but same idea), and the Golden Armor Deus Ex Machina. None of these are significantly worse than other blunders they've made along the way. It ending itself, and at about that time, made all the sense in the world as the story was always building up to that grand finale. And LEGO is LEGO. We are fans of LEGO, right? Not just of that one line. However, if some are fans only of that one line, then whenever it ends, they will naturally fall out from the LEGO fanbase anyways, period, and it thus couldn't be used as evidence against the wisdom of the end. (Because they're not the only fans to consider.)Keep in mind the vast majority of kids "grow out" of LEGO anyways -- and sometimes some are insecure about it. More likely those who are telling you this felt they needed to make some excuse for what was really natural growing out of it (not having the tastes to become an AFOL). Or they may have been part of a small group who strangely seems to have almost become addicted to Bionicle irrationally and wouldn't have accepted an end, which IMO is clearly not "being true to Bionicle" because it was always a story designed to come to an end.Now it's also a story designed to have a return well, so we'll see about that, but we need to stop buying into this myth that's coming from a tiny vocal minority pretending that there is this widespread anger over LEGO having supposedly done something wrong by ending Bionicle. It's just not accurate. Both of those are possible, but they're really B & C respectively -- and this article is not logically evidence for them. Theory #A is that, as LEGO employees have consistently stated, there are no plans for it to return anytime soon.Just want us to be cautiously optimistic and not fool ourselves into seeing a return that probably isn't planned for that soon. Once again, I see your points. As for people turning away from Lego, it's not like BZPower on that site. BZPower is far more official, and makes sure most everybody has good information. In that site, everything's up to rumors and speculations. All people know for sure there is that Bionicle ended, and they don't like it. Not everyone there is like that. Some do have good sources, but at least half, as I have said, have only heard rumors and speculations. And as for not mentioning that site, as I said, I'm more used to the ability to say pretty much anything on there. I apperciate your feedback, though.
  19. I see your point, but in case you don't remember, in 2008 I remember reading about how Lego had their plans figured out until 2011. So, assuming they're still planing that far ahead, they would probably have a more definite answer than saying it wasn't returning in 2013 specifically. They would have said something more along the lines of, "It definitely won't return during the next 3 years." If you don't understand what I mean by "win back the loyalty of some", I'm a little more active on #######, and many there have turned away from Lego entirely because of Bionicle's end.
  20. I've actually imagined the EXACT same theory very recently.
  21. Could we have something written from multiple protagonist's points of view, as if the first one died, then someone else found what they were writing, wrote some stuff, then they died, someone else found it, and so on?
  22. This technically has nothing to do with Bionicle but I believe it is now unpopular to say that Hero Factory is terrible, but honestly, it's the worst Lego theme ever in my opinion. It's storyline is too simple, without any connections between the villains in the various years. I also find it redundant that the Heroes have limitless upgrades. Set wise, they're again far too simplistic and lacking in detail.
