  1. IC(Ignitus and Oriak(on board the Inika)): I nod. "Looks like it's settled." "Any last words?" I ask as I draw Vulcan. He looks me in the eye, with that sadistic grin I imagine he had when he murdered Gravus. "Diu vivat Radriar." I swing. His head falls, rolling under the rail and into the sea, and his body falls over the same rail. "Diu non vivabit."
  2. Stannis what? WE'RE DOOMED!!!!!!! DOOMED I TELL YOU!!!! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. ...Well, . Looks like the Inika's moving directly into the blast zone.
  4. IC(Ignitus and Rerus(on board the Inika)): I turn to the crew, now gathered on the deck except for Xadah and- "What in Mata Nui's name is going on up here?" Rerus says as he comes up onto the deck. Rerus isn't stupid. It takes him only a moment to realize what's going on. "You." He briskly strides up to Oriak, picks him up by his throat, and slams his back against the mask. "What's wrong with you, you sociopathic little-" "Rerus," I say, cutting him off. "We have yet to decide what to do with Oriak. We can kill him on the spot. We can let him take his own life by jumping into the sea. We can leave him at the first land we come to. I say we vote; I say we kill him. He deserves it." "Agreed."
  5. IC(Ignitus, Oriak): "This son of a is what happened," I say, as I pull the gladius from his arm and yank him to his feet. "I'll give you one chance to tell me exactly what happened. Choose your words carefully." "Long live the Empire," he says, "and may Magnus Animus your soul to Infernus, Ausar. Go ahead, kill me. I'm ready for whatever waits on the other side. But first, let me ask you: do you know what you are? Can your oh-so-righteous conscience bear the weight of the lives you've taken? The men you've killed in cold blood?" He grins a sadistic grin. "Go ahead, Ausar. Kill me. I'll see you again very soon." OOC: For those wondering, Infernus is Latin for , and is meant as the Torren word for Karzahni, similar to Magnus Animus for Mata Nui.
  6. IC(Ignitus, Oriak, and Gravus(on board the Inika)): I don't hesitate. In the blink of an eye, I have torn the shortsword from Oriak's grip and knocked him to the ground. I raise the gladius over my head and stab the straight through the forearm and into the deck, ignoring his screams. I growl into his face, "Try anything else, and I won't be so gentle." I get up and walk to Gravus, kneeling next to him. "Ignitus, make me one last promise." "You got it." "You're gonna meet Radriar along the road, I can feel it. And when you do, kick his ." He looks up, straight into the sky. "Pater noster...video enim." And the light leaves his eyes.
  7. HFBEIGVWKVBEUVGDYSBFYXB!!!!!!!!!!! I just realized something! "Toa," in the Matoran language, literally means "Hero." The Dasaka speak the same language as the Matoran. Thus, "Heroes of Old"...
  8. IC(Ignitus/Ausar, Gravus, Oriak(On board the Inika)): I realize, now that we've finally set sail, that I haven't slept in several days. The suns having now set, I ask Gravus, "Could you take over here for a while? I think I need some sleep." "You got it." Once belowdecks, I lay down and, in about half an hour, I am asleep; but sleep brings dreams. I am standing on a beach, the beach I washed up on when I first arrived on Mata Nui. Looking around, I notice another Toa, and I realize he is me. "Who are you?" "My name is Ausar. I am you." Wait, what? "To be more accurate, you are a shadow of what I-we-once were; I am Ausar the Fearless, our natural state." "You... you're the other presence I feel in my mind, the bloodlust, the joy of killing?" "Hah! You are the lack of bloodlust! I am the warrior side of us. You need me." And I wake to screaming above deck. As fast as I can, I charge onto the deck, Vulcan drawn, and I am met with the sight of Oriak standing over Gravus, holding Gravus' gladius as the Toa of Gravity bleeds out of two gaping wounds in his stomach and chest.
  9. Which reminds me, it mentions somewhere that some ancient legends wielded all four disciplines. Perhaps these were true Toa of Psionics, which gradually devolved to the Dasaka we see today.
  10. :/ Relatively speaking, I'm pretty new. I only joined sometime last spring/summer, if memory serves. Regardless, I now feel reeeeeeeeeeeeeally stupid. :/
  11. ...... ... ... ... ... ...That hurt, bro. I can't be the only person who hadn't noticed that, or at least not the only person who hadn't made the connection between Dasaka and Psionics being missing from the allowed elements yet.
  12. Skip a step of your plan, improvise a replacement step, and move on.
  13. And Psionics is the only canon element, excluding Light and Shadow, not allowed for Toa. ... ... ... ...holy cheese, now I'm curious.
  14. Anyone else notice that Dasaka are basically Toa of Psionics with crystal stuff?
  15. http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=11189&p=633462 And thus, the Inika's maiden voyage begins.
  16. IC(Ignitus, Gravus): "Then to sea." Within an hour, everyone is on board the Inika, and we're pulling out of the docks. We stand on the deck, staring at the island we leave. For some of us, we're leaving our homeland; for others, our refuge from destruction. For all of us, we're sailing into the unknown, perhaps never to return. Finally, I break the silence. "Gravus, which way?" "Due west." And so I steer the ship towards the sunset, into the future, into the unknown. I don't know what we're sailing to. I don't know if we'll find what we're looking for. I don't know if we'll ever return. But I do know one thing: Wherever we go, we are sailing towards our destiny. And perhaps our fate.
  17. BZPower, please add the ability to like posts. Please. Do it. I don't know alot about Dasaka, but I'd guess probably Ringti. But someone else is gonna prove me completely wrong. :/
  18. IC(Ignitus): "As soon as everyone's aboard, I guess. Are we missing anyone?"
  19. IC(Ignitus, Gravus) "Well, all I could get outta the Abettor was something about star charts. You wouldn't happen to have any, would you?" "Actually, I do," Gravus says. "Copied down in my journal." He turns around to walk back to the Inika. "We need to set sail soon," he calls over his shoulder. "I'll be belowdecks, come get me when it's time."
  20. IC(Ignitus, Gravus): "I dunno, where is he?" "Right here." I turn around to see Gravus standing behind me. "Welcome aboard The Inika, Ignitus. So, what d'ya need?"
  21. IC(Ignitus): "I couldn't even begin to tell you where Torren is, but I have this funny feeling everything—Torren, Radriar, the Riddle—is connected somehow. We'll have to ask Gravus for any practical directions, though."
  22. How about squares? Flat and compact like disks, but stackable and easy to organize like cubes.
  23. IC(Ignitus): "Not to my knowledge, but I seem to remember Gravus being a mapmaker of sorts back home. Perhaps he has some from his voyage from Torren?"
  24. IC(Ignitus): "Not much, really. It said something about star charts and a map, but we couldn't get much else outta it."
