  1. IC(Ignitus(the Inika)): "Maybe... I think, I'm not sure... who am I kidding I have no idea."
  2. 3/5 I seen you here and there.
  3. 4/5 I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE I GO, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!
  4. Probably best to keep it that way. Expect links in the next couple of hours.
  5. Yeah, neither of my characters has ever been approved because I forgot until now that I still had to edit in the appearances. I'll probably do that tonight; right now I'm about to get on a flight from Austin, Texas(great spot to go for spring break, by the way), but I could do it when we get home.
  6. 1.5/5 I seem to have the slightest recollection of seeing you once...somewhere...
  7. Dunno if anyone's tried this before, but would anyone be interested in trying to get a RWBY RPG started?
  8. For names, it varies. Alot of my characters I made long before the RPG, and I just made something random(Rerus, Oriak, Gravus); now, I mostly use Google translate and figure out what word X is in language Y(Ignitus, for instance, in Latin for "fiery").
  9. If I were to, say, introduce a new ex-royal character looking to recruit a group of particularly dangerous people, where might I debut said character?
  10. IC(Ignitus(on board the Inika)): I stare at the clouds grimly, responding to Lai Lai's news with what seems like the most reasonable question. "And how fast can we get her through?"
  11. In that case, you can expect Moeru to be there. Also, for anyone who was interested in the whole Zataka's Pit thing(the one at least a month or two ago), life kinda got in the way of organizing that, so we'll just say it got broken up...? By ninjas...? Yeah, something like that. I dunno, I'm open to just about anything plausible here.
  12. Moeru's not technically a First Son, but do you think a Toroshu's brother might be able to get in?
  13. Your changing sigs bring my soul so much joy.

  14. IC(Ignitus(on board the Inika)): "Potas, Rerus, you're in charge of insulating anything metal on the deck with a nice, thick layer of rock." Xadah returns, a large bottle of whiskey in each hand, and hands me one. I lift it to my mouth, bite down on the cap, and pop it right off, before spitting it out and taking a nice, large swallow. "Xadah, you go below and tie down anything that's not tied or nailed down. This is gonna get rough."
  15. IC(Ignitus(on board the Inika)): Why didn't we think to recruit at least one Toa of Water for just this situation? "Well, you heard the woman," I say. "Anything that's not tied or nailed down, tie it down or throw it over. Tuarn, if there's any damage left from the fights with the Tarakava and that other...thing, fix it. Lai Lai, keep an eye on the storm and tell me if anything changes. Jarkale, Gravus' compass is sitting on a crate next to my hammock. If you could bring that here, I'd be very appreciative. JL, if any lightning comes our way, send it somewhere else. And Xadah, I need a drink."
  16. OOC: I know, my computer glitched up and now it's blocking the edit page. :/ IC(Ignitus): "Thanks. Just do me a favor and make sure you never let me do something like that again." At that moment, I hear Lai Lai's voice coming from just above my head, on top of the deck. I can't make out any words, just a somewhat urgent tone. " it, what now?" I don't know exactly who patched me up, put whoever it was is a miracle worker. I'm able to rise from the hammock and stand up straight without too much hindrance; the only thing that even remotely bothers me is the spot where the tooth was lodged, but even that doesn't cause any more than a dull ache. As I reach the deck, I find Lai Lai and Rerus waiting for me. Xadah stumbles up behind me, still half-asleep and barely able to stand up straight. "Don't tell me there's something else here that wants us dead. More Tarakava? Another fish straight from Makuta's ? Pirates? Assassins? Zombies? A flying dermis turtle?"
  17. IC(Ignitus(The Inika): Who am I? There was once an empire of great strength, one that had stood for millennia without being challenged. The emperor of this land ruled for centuries with an iron fist, unable to be usurped by any warrior, no matter how skilled. The throne was guaranteed to his son, a prince who was, at the time, merely an infant. However, this emperor was not the only of his kind; for he had a sister. This sister would go on to bear a son to a widower, a retired soldier with one young son already. But the emperor's eyes and ears were everywhere. He soon realized what his sister had done, though he could not find his new nephew or the nephew's father. However, he could still have her executed for putting royal blood into the veins of a commoner. Who am I? The years passed by, the emperor constantly trying - and failing - to find his nephew. During this time, the prince grew older, as did the nephew and the nephew's half-brother. The nephew's family was safe from the emperor's wrath for years, and the nephew reached adulthood without even realizing that his very life was a crime punishable by slow, excruciating death at best; his life had been peaceful and normal. But, like all things good and pure, this had to end. One night when the moon could not be seen, four imperial soldiers came to the nephew's home to collect taxes, as they did every year. They noticed, however, a resemblance to the emperor when the nephew answered the door. Being familiar with the execution of the emperor's sister and the emperor's search for her son, they returned hours later, with orders from the emperor himself to kill the nephew. When his father came out, however, they killed him instead. Without the light of the moon, they thought they had killed the nephew and turned to leave. Who am I? The true nephew, however, was enraged when he found his father's body. Taking his father's sword from his time in the imperial army, the nephew tracked the soldiers down and killed each them for what they had done. When he returned home, his half-brother explained the true origin of his birth. Now understanding the empire's evil, there was no turning back from the course he was on, for he was born into it. The nephew knew he must avenge his family - indeed, his people, who were little more than slaves in this land - he must slay his uncle. Knowing of the emperor's skill, he knew he would also need extensive training to even challenge him. Thus, he searched for and eventually found an old hermit, who was a great champion in his youth but now lived alone in the mountains. Having been commander of the nephew's father in the imperial army, the hermit agreed to train him in combat. Over the next four years, the nephew's skill in swordplay would grow to rival that of the emperor, until nobody but his uncle could challenge him. Who am I? The nephew then traveled his father's native land, where "citizen" meant little more than "slave." He recruited an army of peasants, and launched an attack on the imperial city, fighting until he reached the emperor himself. What followed was a duel for the ages, where neither could get the upper hand on the other; that is, until the prince arrived to join his father. The nephew couldn't keep up with both his uncle and his cousin, and eventually found his back against the wall and the emperor's blade against his throat. Only one thing saved the nephew: before the emperor could carry out his wrath, a lieutenant in the rebel army and the nephew's second-in-command entered, injuring the prince and holding the emperor long enough for any rebels to escape. The nephew and his lieutenant, however, were nowhere to be found; the second-in-command sent out search parties and the like, eventually leaving the land on a raft loaded with supplies. Unbeknownst to him, the nephew and hsi lieutenant had gone missing on purpose. The nephew, a man named Ausar, was sickened by what he had known as life and how it had shaped him. He had to start aknew. Through arcane rituals, he erased his identity, and his lieutenant did the same. They left the land in watertight canisters, hoping to find new land for their new lives. But who am I? The day would come, after a year of drifting through the ocean, when they would find a new land. Ausar climbed out of his canister, remembering only his father's name, which he took for himself. The lieutenant, meanwhile, would meet and befriend a Po-Matoran in the desert of this new land, with no memory but his own name. They would travel through the bowels of this land after the prince, who had made his way to the new land on an imperial ship, attempted to kill them. There, they would meet the nephew, and would form a group of adventurers, set on solving the riddle on the Vault of Makuta, this land's former godlike tyrant. Buying a ship, they set sail with the second-in-command, who had found the land, and the prince, who they had taken into captivity. The first night of their voyage, the imprisoned prince would attempt to murder the rebel second-in-command, as the emperor's last decree had ordered all rebels dead, but Ausar saved for his blade. The prince would succeed, but only to be killed by the nephew, knowing himself by his father's name. Ignitus. Who am I? I am Ignitus. Ausar died with his homeland. Ignitus is of Mata Nui. I am of Mata Nui. I must wake up. Drawing in breath sharply, I sit up straight in a hammock belowdecks, with a few bloody bandages wrapped around various parts of my body. Sitting on a crate a few feet away is Rerus, with Xadah sleeping nearby. "What happened?" Rerus looks up, surprised. "You're awake! Had us worried for a while there." "Again, what happened?" "Well, after you blew up the...whatever that thing was, Potas pulled you outta the sea and you passed out on the deck. They pulled out some tooth fragments and patched you up alright, but you slept through the whole thing." "How long have I been out?" "Let's see here...three days. I'll go tell them you're awake; they'll wanna see how you're doin'." As Rerus leaves the room, I lean back and try to relax. IC(Ignitus, Rerus, Xadah(The Inika): Who am I? 18. Happy birthday! Everyone forgot mine. :/

  19. Happy late birthday!

  20. Meh, I'll try this out. However, I don't have time to post links for appearances yet, so I'll do that within twenty-four hours. In the mean time, feel free not to approve them yet, but do tell me if there's anything else I need to fix for approval. WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS HIGH LEVELS OF WALLS OF TEXT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Ignitus Species: Toa Gender: Male Appearance: [space reserved for link] Dominant Hand: Ambidextrous(favors left) Alignment: Chaotic Good Kanohi: Great Hau, Mask of Shielding Weapon(s): -Claiomh, a well-balanced saber that closely resembles the design of the real-life Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber with a golden left-handed hilt and a steely blade, both Protodermic, though the handle is wrapped in leather. -Dragonsbreath, a single-action revolver that holds and fires six [whatever the Bionicle equivalent of a .45 caliber bullet is]. Other Equipment: -A simple faded crimson hooded cloak. -A left-handed sheath for Claiomh worn on his right hip. -A left-handed holster for Dragonsbreath worn on his left hip. -54 rounds of ammunition for Dragonsbreath. -A bandolier worn around the waist that can hold 36 rounds for Dragonsbreath. -The right half of a tiny heatstone medallion with the symbol for duty carved into it; originally the full medallion belonged to his father, and is over an eon old. Thus, its heat has faded greatly over the years, now barely noticable. Abilities, Powers, and Skills: Being a Toa of Fire, Ignitus can create, control, and absorb heat and flame. That said, his true skill lies in swordsmanship, at which he excels; he ain't a half bad shot either. Ignitus' skills in battle are only increased by the extra defense provided by his Hau. Personality: An aggressive, courageous man, Ignitus fears no man or law. Should the law get in his way, Ignitus simply breaks it. This said, Ignitus is a rather virtuous, moral man, he simply doesn't like being told what to do and believes in the freedom of individuals. History: Ignitus' life has not been a happy one, despite the optimistic appearance of his youth. Early in his existence, Ignitus seemed like he would have a perfectly regular life; he had a regular father, a regular mother, and a regular younger brother named Nix. Despite Nix's being a Ko-Toa, they remained in Ta-Karda, their father working in the forges to provide for them. This was the calm before the storm. One dark night, after Ignitus had reached the age required to work in the forges and Nix only weeks away, a Toa came in the middle of the night to rob their home, thinking everyone out of the house. However, he was proven wrong when Ignitus/Nix's mother awoke to find the Toa sifting through a small box of valuables. In cold blood, the robber pulled out a knife and stabbed her in the chest several times, causing her to bleed to death. Her screams, however, were heard by Ignitus/Nix's father, who took his sword, Claiomh, and went after the robber-turned-murderer, who had fled the house. Despite his attempts to escape, their father caught him before he could get out of the yard. The murderer, however, was ruthless, and managed to slit their father's throat. By this point, Nix had awoken and ran to help their father, but only managed to get close enough to watch him bleed and die. Enraged, Nix charged the murderer, only to be picked up by his throat and slammed against the house, knocking him out cold. The following morning, Ignitus returned from a night on the town to find Nix weeping over their dead parents' corpses. Ignitus stayed with Nix for about four years, until the Great Winter came. At this point, Nix decided he wanted to become an official in Ko-Metru, wanting to distance himself from Ignitus, who had been forced to resort to theft in dire times. Thus, Nix simply left one night with no note, and Ignitus has no idea where he's been since then. Weakness(es): Besides the obvious vulnerability to cold and ice(a bit of a problem on Ko-Nui)and his low social status as a Ta-Toa, Ignitus' temper can sometimes cause him to act before thinking. Nix Species: Toa Gender: Male Appearance: [space reserved for link] Dominant Hand: Right Alignment: Lawful Good Kanohi: Great Matatu, Mask of Telekinesis Weapon(s): -Levem, a fancy-looking rapier, made of silver Protodermis and covered with golden designs, including Matoran text along the blade saying "Order above all." -Frostbite, a rather small semi-automatic pistol with a seven-round magazine, silver with a golden handle, firing [the Bionicle equivalent of a 9mm bullet]. Other Equipment: -An ornate white cloak covered with golden designs. -A right-handed sheath for Levem worn on his left hip, white and covered with golden designs like its sword. -A right-handed holster for Frostbite worn on his right hip, white with golden designs like his cloak and sheath. -84 rounds of ammunition for Frostbite. -Four spare magazines for Frostbite, kept in tiny pouches on the inside of his cloak. -The left half of a tiny medallion with the symbol for duty carved into it; originally the full medallion belonged to his father, and is over an eon old. Thus, its heat has faded greatly over the years, now barely noticable. Abilities, Powers, and Skills: Being a Toa of Ice, Nix can create, control, and absorb cold and ice, and this is his greatest talent, along with the mastery of the Telekinesis granted by his Matatu. That standing, he's a decent fencer, but a rather mediocre shot. Personality: Level-headed and rational, Nix is a lawful, noble citizen of Ko-Nui. As far as he can, Nix will follow the law, and adheres to his ethics and morals very strongly. While not as fierce or courageous as Ignitus, he is also more cautious and calculating. History: Nix's life has not been a happy one, despite the optimistic appearance of his youth. Early in his existence, Nix seemed like he would have a perfectly regular life; he had a regular father, a regular mother, and a regular elder brother named Ignitus. Despite Nix's being a Ko-Toa, they remained in Ta-Karda, their father working in the forges to provide for them. This was the calm before the storm. Thus, Nix simply left one night with no note, and Ignitus has no idea where he's been since then. Weakness(es): Besides the obvious vulnerability to heat and flame(an insignificant thing on Ko-Nui), Nix has a habit of following the established law regardless of what it says.
  21. IC(Ignitus(The Inika)): "Don't worry 'bout it," I say as I steady myself on the ship's rail. I look down at the fragment of tooth in my thigh, one of many minor injuries now covering my body. Without really thinking about it, I reach down and yank it out of my leg. I'm sure it hurts, but I don't really realize it. "Hey, uh, Jarkale? You're a doctor or somthin' right? 'Cause I uh... I... uh... ah , I'm goin' down." And thus, I promptly fall over onto the deck and return to unconsciousness.
  22. Sorry for the delay everybody, here be me profile: Name: Toa Ignitus the Nold Weapon: A Protodermic sword closely resembling a Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber, with a left-handed hilt of crystalline Protodermis. Appearance: A lean, muscular Toa of average height, with crimson and scarlet base armor and a silver outer breastplae and silver outer greaves. Power: Blazing fiery flames of fieriness, with a side of fire. Ultimate Weapons: Pffffffffffft, I don't need one of those things... course, I guess it couldn't hurt if I had the chance... okay, maybe it'd be nice... okay, now I want one.
