  1. Well the first thing to do if you have a question like this is to ask "what is evil?"As I defined it on my blog, here: Good and Evil: Points of View?:
"Good" people are more self-LESS than selfish, wanting the good of others above themselves. Nobody's perfect at this of course, but that's the idea. Good guys don't backstab each other (or rather, when they do, they aren't being good).Evil is self-ISH. Evil beings want everything for themselves above others. They use minions and allies when they need them, but as soon as they don't, they will backstab the heck out of 'em. Again, most of us have aspects of this in us, which is why humans aren't truly one or the other. But it's, again, the basic idea of evil. The above differences simply are not arguable. What's arguable is whether the uses of the word "evil" and "good" are always used accurately. Often they aren't. But that doesn't change the fact that good and evil mean real things.
Was what Karzahni did selfish? Certainly! If he's a bad repairman, he should come clean and admit it, not try to hide it and imprison people, forcing them to work in horrible slave jobs for the rest of their lives, and then go around trying to seek his own selfish agenda. He should find what he IS good at, even if it's not as grandious as the jobs the Great Beings tried to give him, and humbly do good at that. He's simply not as evil as some others. :)
Ah, but did he have evil intentions when he was being selfish. Imagine this okay: You have a brother who is always rewarded and every one thinks is great. No one really likes or trusts you. You try to do a nice thing (Fix matorans) so people like you. You bite of more than you can chew. Because you are so proud to admit defeat you keep them there. What you are doing is selfish, but your not doing it intentionally to be selfish are you? A lot of people would say that its your intentions that define whether you are good or evil, not you actions.
  2. he's pretty much an insane guy who held a bunch of matoran as prisonersnow that's pretty evil
Didnt he turn evil afterwards. I think he did a pretty nice thing offering to fix the matoran. Maybe he was to proud to send back the matoran becuase his brother was a cool guy and he didnt want to feel bad becuase he couldnt cope. Maybe he retaliation of concurring the world was a retaliation from him believing was small compared to his brother. Sorry Im shooting blind here, I have no idea what Im talking about. Maybe I should take up psychology
  3. I would have loved to see a movie detailing the plots of the 2007 storyline. It could potentially have been a grown-up action movie for the teenage and adult fans of Bionicle, with villains like Gadunka and the Barraki. This particular year is a veritable goldmine for engaging storytelling, we have Matoro's underlying character arc, and his encounters with Teridax, everyone's desire for the mask and so on. It would have been awesome.
IMO it would have to at least start from 06 to do an 07 movie. A good movie needs to be accessible to new comers and old fans. Trust me, this film would get a poor rating if is started at 07.
Yeah, you really have to have a background on the story.I think 2006 or 2008 could have made for good movies. But more than anything, I would have liked to have seen a movie covering the 2001-2003 storyline prior to the MoL saga. :)
Also this would be a bad movie too. The directors would just be cramming to many enemies and events that happened in these three years. It would be a mess. There would need to be atleast 2 movies based on this era
  4. It interchanged through the years from Starwars and Bionicles. In 2006 I stopped collecting Bionicle but continued SW. After Starwars lego became too expensive I switched back to Bionicle. Dont regret it.Some of my other faves through out the years have been Exo Force and Knights Kingdom II

  5. Matau by far. When he first became Toa he was like a little kid playing with his powers. Quite realistic. Then when he became Hordika he actually grew up. Not many Bionicle characters actually do this. They are normally matured already. He had to suck up his looks and fight his best friend to save the matoran.Truly inspirational character if you ask me. On terms of just being plain awesome was Darth Vakama(Vakama Hordika)

  6. I would really like a trilogy for each era of Bionicle 2001-2003 would have 3 films.1.A lot of the first film would be about the Matorans struggle which would be interesting. It would be about the Toa Inika as Matoran as well an Takua. Then about 3/4 into the film the Toa come and be bada**2.The second films would center more around the toa mata and their personalities. The fight the bohrok and kal in this one. It would delve deep into the characters personalities 3. This is when they get their nuva power(I know cannon is screwed up there). They use this to fight the Rahkishi. The toa of light is found. Instead of Takanuva killing Yerridax it should be all the Toa nuvas power combined to defeat him. Takanuva beat him far to easy.2004-2005 would have 3 films.2006-2007 would have 3 films.2008 would be its own film or maybe 2Lets just forget about 2009 :/I will update the rest of these if any one is interested and I have time to think.

  7. When I first got into Bionicle I never really got intersted in the story. Actually I used to make it a little city wjere every one got on but face real life problems like drug addiction, racism and homophobia(Yep, all in the mind of a 7 year old). When ever they played like the story told me too I would make it out as if they were shooting a movie. It was kind of cute. Now about 9 or 10 years have passed and I can deny that I dont get them out and play "city" once in a while embarassed.gif

  8. Hey, this is my first post here so I don't know if this thread has been done before. I would assume it has but I couldn't see it on the first page. Any way, what was your favorite Bionicle year as far as sets are concerned. Now I no Im going to get a lot of hate foe this but have to say 2005. Every one says the Toa Hordika mask are ugly but I find them really nice and smooth(Besides Whenua). Granted, the arms are fugly. The small one just looks out of place and and am i the only one who has trouble keeping the big one up(sorry that sounds like a a euphemism). The weapons were also amazing.I also really like the Visorak. They were just a nice solid build and all were slightly different and weren't proper colne sets(about as much as the Toa mata) and they just looked nice.Obviously Sidorak and Keetongu weren't the best, but they were good and had awesome weapons.Roodaka is just one of my all time favorite sets. If only 2008 would have followed they type of quality.Whats your opinion BZP power people?!
