  1. IC: "My bad," Johnathan folded his arms. "You're right, we've all been through a lot. Sorry for the tasteless joke." John said. He had a bit more respect for Alex in that he'd actually been to their universe and experienced first hand what HeII really was like. The muzzle joke didn't really offend him, he'd heard it all before. "How you been since you got back from our dimension slim?" he asked Alex.
  2. IC: "Oh... Katherine Pryde..." Quinn said as his cheeks reddened and he connected the dots. Kitty. The faculty member he'd met earlier. "Uh, yeah I met her earlier. She was supposed to show me to my room after I helped her with Sierra but then I decided to come with you guys."
  3. IC: "Alright, yeah that was a bad question. But who is she?" Quinn asked, wondering if she was someone prominent or famous or something. "Did I hit a nerve?" Johnathan raised a brow. "My bad, other-Cali. What exactly did I say?" he smirked, feeling like he possibly knew.
  4. I would if I could man, but I'm no GM. Anyway, the current X-Men being sent to New York is as follows (I think, unless I missed some) Normal X-Men: Alec, Alex, Dallas, Quinn, Nero, Sakuya, Gabriel, Jeff, Aleks, Christine Ultimates: Dallas, John, Bekah, Julia, Kristen I have feeling U! Ashley will show up too somehow.
  5. IC: Christine took a comm unit. “Ah don’t like this, Ah want to be at your side Aleks…” she said softly. She then glanced around at the assortment of mutants around. “One question, whose power should Ah borrow?” “Glad you made it Jules,” Johnathan smiled at his sister. “Too bad the other Julia didn’t as well, she probably didn’t want to have to compete with your kill count.” “Whose your mom? Is she hot?” Quinn asked Jeff as he grabbed his own Comm and put it on. Oh man is this cool.
  6. IC: Kaeren glanced at Plagia and frowned as he mulled over the question before taking another sip. "This job man, this job sucks." he grumbled. "Being a Guard sucks, everything is corrupt, there's nothing I can do to stop it, so I guess my brother died for no reason." Kaeren said before he took yet another sip.
  7. IC: Nekka By this point in time, Nekka was on the verge of falling asleep. Nevertheless, she managed to walk over towards the upper level. "I'm... gonna go ahead and... go sleep..." Nekka said, fatigue clouding her voice as she struggled to even keep her eyes open. IC: "There is a small bed for you to sleep on." Ashala said as she pointed to a small room. "Londar you can take the fold out couch." she pointed to a couch before she approached her room. "See you two in the morning."
  8. IC: Crystalia did indeed follow Jettix into the back room, staying silent as the Skakdi spoke up. "I'm not sure if following a Skakdi's plan would be the smartest choice."
  9. IC: Lathon nodded as well before lifting himself into the seat with his powers over air. He got comfortable and waited for the great bird to take off. "Ready when you are." Lathon said to Sisk.
  10. IC: Jarrun reached down and picked up the still passed out female Ga-Matoran, while motioning the male one to follow him across the plank and onto the dock. "Which way to the hospital?" Jarrun asked Skuggy.
  11. IC: Zarkov walked across an ice-bridge, his claws tapping on the ice as he puffed on a single lit cigarette. Soon he saw the strange Turaga of Earth in the distance, waiting for Zarkov and the others to arrive for their little expedition. He blew out a ring of smoke before tossing his cigarette into the snow without bothering to put it out. It wasn't like the snow was going to catch on fire anyway. He walked up to Maeloc, it seemed Zarkov had acquired himself a new fur coat since the last time Maeloc had seen him. "I found someone who said he was interested." Zarkov motioned behind him to a black armored Toa of Earth who had been silently following him all this way. "Name's Insidian, says he's a Makuta worshiper, not that that matters, but he's interested in our little... trip." Zarkov grinned. "Indeed." The Toa of Earth said simply.
  12. “Well It’s nice to meet both of you,” Quinn grinned. “Have you ever tried to think up a witty X-Men codename Gabriel? Like SeX-Changer; or something, or SeX-Man.” "Those are horrible names Quinn." Christine shook her head. “Indeed it is,” Johnathan nodded. “So tell me, you still a wolf?” he inquired, curious. “I got a witch to lift the curse myself.” He said before he scratched his flesh arm with metal fingers. “Anyone seen a Julia? I feel like we need at least one of the Jules before we go.”
  13. IC: “Ah, gotcha,” Quinn nodded. “My names Quinn, what’s yours?” that was when Gabriel turned into a girl. “Oh man is that neat,” he said in shock. “You’re going to have to turn me into a girl sometimes; I always had a fantasy about seeing what it’s like.” He grinned. “Just not right now, of course.”
  14. IC: Johnathan noticed the other Dallas staring at his Dallas. He leaned in and whispered in Showstopper' ear. "I think he likes you." he said before motioning to the other Dallas. "We were supposed to have our own pizza party, so I know your feels." he grinned at the Dallas. John then glanced at Nero. "Yo, Nero. How's it going?" he asked. "Sex-changing bacteria?" Quinn said with wide eyes as he looked at Jeff and Gabriel. "Are you guys new X-Men too?" he asked noticing that they also weren't wearing costumes, then again some of the senior members weren't as well, but it was easy to tell that they'd been through this before. This has to be the best first day of school ever and I didn't even have to go to a single class.
  15. I should update this, maybe

  16. IC: “My name’s Quinn,” he said after Kristen spoke. “John,” he said simply to Quinn, introducing himself while still acting as Showstopper’s seat-belt. “I thought the plan was to take out as many Hydra as we can.” Johnathan shrugged at Alex's words. “And protect the civilians.” Christine added. Johnathan looked up as Nero wheeled himself into the Blackbird. He remembered him, the other lycan. They’d been infected by the same man. He wondered if Nero still had his curse, it was most likely that he did. Quinn smiled at Sakuya. “Hi, I didn’t catch your name, I think we may be the only two newbie X-Men here.” IC: “Harken,” Jennifer spoke over a com-link. “I jumped the gun a bit; I’m already in the field. Used my personal vehicle to get here, I’ll rendezvous with you once you arrive, safe flying, McCoy out.” She then swept the nearby buildings looking for Hydra snipers. It wasn’t long before she found one, sniper-rifle pointed out of the window as he turned his sights on a civilian. Jennifer squeezed the trigger of her high powered rifle, unleashing some rounds towards him. She missed, the rounds exploding into the window around him, the sniper ducking. Jennifer ducked as well. She knew the sniper would be ready to pick her off the next time she put her head up. So she did the next best thing, threw up the backpack she’d carried her gun in. A bullet slammed through the backpack, Jennifer burst from cover before pulling the trigger again, this time she caught the sniper in his neck.
  17. IC: Quinn laughed, "At least you guys feel the same way about each other."
  18. OOC: Its funny cause when not a lycan this John is actually the opposite, less-violent and crazy then the other one turned out to be. Wait guys we can’t leave without Nero, I think he’s coming right? Please tell me Nero’s coming. IC: On his way to the Blackbird Johnathan had slipped into one of the forsaken X-Men locker-rooms. He’d found a sleek black X-Suit that looked to have been one of the other John’s backups and thrown it on, the X now covering his chest (Think X1-X3 Wolvie costume). Now that he was in the Blackbird and Dallas had pulled his arms around his waist as a makeshift seatbelt John couldn’t help but laugh. “I’ve gone from werewolf to seatbelt; I guess that’s a step up, right?” “Man, you guys get costumes? That’s so cool, why don’t I get one?” Quinn asked. “No time kid.” “Don’t even tempt me Alec, you know Ah'd wear the HeII out of that stewardess costume.” Christine smiled, as she placed her backpack full of ammo down in the seat next to her. “Oh, hey Kristen.” John grunted, still not happy she’d stolen 100 bucks. Quinn glanced around at the other teens present. He then a double take, glancing from Dallas, to someone that looked... just like Dallas. The Dallas he'd met had dirty blonde hair, while this Dallas had black hair and some tattoos, but other then that they looked almost identical. "Hey Dallas... you have a twin?" Quinn asked.
  19. IC: Christine got to the plane after Aleks, Dallas and Alex. It was weird seeing the three of them together like that. Fellow X-Men, she slid to a stop next to the ramp before she climbed onto the plane. “Ah got your knives Aleks.” She smiled before setting the backpack down. “And a ###### of ammo just like you asked for.” Quinn had been running down the basement hallway when he’d spotted Christine making a right and ducking into a massive hanger. He dashed inside, staring at awe at the giant metal room and the sleek black-blue jet that sat within. He could see Dallas heading up the ramp, the guy he’d met earlier who had been taken advantage of by Nicole. He raced up the ramp before running inside the plane before he stopped to breathe hard. “I’m coming.” He said before he found a seat. "So this is the X-Men." Johnathan popped a mint into his mouth as he headed for the hanger. He didn’t want to have bad breath after-all. Not when he’d be claw deep in enemies. He pulled out his desert eagle and flicked the safety off before tucking it back away. He knew most likely the other Ultimates wouldn’t go. It didn’t matter; he was sort of a lone wolf now anyway. Not sure how these normal X-Men would react to him but he figured they needed at least one claw slashing-heals factor mutant on this suicide mission. He sniffed the air, smelling the scent of the other Cali. He didn’t know this Cali very much but knew he was quite different from the Cali he knew. He approached the Blackbird before climbing in and slinking into a seat without saying anything, his arms crossing. OOC: Somewhere... in the afterlife (Flex's Dead Characters void of deadness) "Wow they are really going for it," Ashlynn smiled. "The X-Men are coming back." "They better give them some ###### for us." John grinned as he remembered his times fighting alongside them. "The X-Men are back, I've been waiting for this." "Not like you're actually alive John... you know you can't do anything right? You know that this isn't actually happening and its all in one of the other characters heads?" "Shut up Matt, you know you're happy to get to see Aleks in action again, and I don't mean with Christine." "I wish the Dragonballs were real so we could be wished back, Heaven is so cloudy and... boring. No footballs." "Just cause you're blonde doesn't mean you're a Super Saiyan Matt."
  20. IC: "X-Men," he said wistfully, tasting the name. "We were X-Men once, and they beat us. If you'd like to see what we are now...meet me at the plane." Christine felt her adrenaline pick up at these words. They had been beautiful, exactly what the school needed right now. They had been true. She knew any mutant teen with powers and a drive to protect the innocents would make their way to the Blackbird. Maybe the X-Men are finally coming back… Christine thought suddenly. After so long it felt like a dream. It couldn’t be real. The X-Men had died. They had died after Vegas, they had burned. Now it seemed they were possibly rising from the ashes. Christine burst into her room before remembering what Aleks had told her to collect. She quickly grabbed a black backpack before grabbing in three of her and Aleks favorite guns, weapons he’d left in her room and strapping them on herself, one was a gun Aleks had given her once. She then went to the closet, stripping down to essentials before pulling on a green and white hooded top with an X across the bust. She then grabbed a carton of ammo and poured it all into the back-pack. Soon the back-pack was stretched to its wits end with ammo; it looked like a giant inflated jelly bean of death, she even tossed in a single grenade she found under her bed. After that she grabbed a small black case, inside were several of Aleks knives. With all these items on her body now she turned and raced out of her room, before dashing down the hall and making her way to the Blackbird, which she knew would be docked in the basement. IC: “Ah… ah .” Johnathan cursed as he got to his feet after hearing the intercom message. “I shouldn’t go girls, I know I shouldn’t.” John said as he chugged his beer before crushing it with a metal fist. He then grabbed two slices of pizza and wolfed them down. “But I can’t sit here drinking and eating some pizza while letting things go to outside like it was another Phalanx invasion or something. Jules, watch Kristen. Make sure she’s alright.” He then turned and headed for the door. “If anyone attacks this school… we need to make sure the kids are safe.” IC: Quinn heard Aleks message over the intercom. He glanced at Kitty and then sighed heavily. “Sorry Kitty, I know I’m new here but I can fight. I’m going to go see what I can do. Quinn turned and then dashed down the hallway. He had to find that plane, he was sure he’d be able too.
  21. IC: Here they come... this is not Weapon-X... this is not Weapon-X... ###### I really wish this was Weapon-X, I wouldn't care about anything if this was another one of their stupid missions. Kane thought, his sword put him at a disadvantage, even with his flame powers, no he needed a gun too. But that was something he'd have to take. One of the Hydra soldiers came around the car. He was burly with a automatic rifle poised in his green-clad arms. He trained the rifle towards Kane and let it rip, except Kane had already exploded away from the car with an aura of flame trailing behind him from his sword as he covered it with flames. He slashed it at the Hydra Guard, his sword slashing into an enhanced Hydra combat knife that blocked the hit, sparks flying into the air as the soldier tried to swing his rifle around to pull the trigger. Kane's other hand flew forward as flame burst from his flesh, hitting the rifle in the center and burning the soldier's hand. He yelled in shock and dropped the rifle, Kane pulled his sword away and the guard slammed his burning fist into Kane's cheek. His flesh was flame-resistant but still this dude hit hard. Kane grunted before slamming his flaming sword into the soldier's gut. The heat on the blade made it slide in like butter. The soldier gasped as Kane wrenched it out, his eyes wide with pain through his mask as he knew his life was about to end. Kane lifted his other hand and let flame burst from his fingertips as it rushed into the Hydra mook's face. Man I wish the rest of the Brotherhood was here right about now! IC: Bullets began to thud into Terrances special alloy suit. Each one felt like a tiny punch, knocked the wind out of Terrance but it didn't give. He grunted as his hands flew from his sides, long obsidian dreads flying into the air as shruiken twirled through the air like tiny missiles. Cutting into the chest of one of the armed Hydra-fake-civilians. The dude was wearing an orange and yellow hawaian shirt. How cliche. He even looked German. The soldier grunted as he leveled his MP5 and unloaded led. Terance rolled to the right, dirt exploding around his body as he lunged forward, wrist-blades sliding out of sheaths in his wrist as he darted up to the Hydra guard, flashing the long blades across the Hydra soldier's stomach. He looked down in shock before blasting a round past the edge of Terrance's right ear, blowing a chunk of his flesh off. He grunted as he stabbed a wrist-blade up towards the soldier's chin.
  22. IC: (X-Mansion, Sub-Level) "Of course," Quinn nodded before he glanced at Sierra. She was was as unstable as they came. But it seemed like it wasn't all her fault from what he'd heard. Her mother sounded horrid, maybe she'd raised her wrong... telling her killing was okay. Either way he was glad everything seemed to be sorted out for now. Nicole was in Dr. Thomas' office, Ashley was in the medical bay and Sierra her her collar on now. IC: (Times Square) The Hydra trooper turned before he began gunning down an innocent man. Jennifer's bullet hit him in the shoulder instead of the chest. He turned around before firing back at her. Jennifer ducked as his rounds exploded into the rooftop around her. She rolled and then burst back up over the edge before unleashing three more shots. One of his bullets flew past her shoulder, grazing her flesh and leaving behind a trail of burning agony as the bullet cut into her shoulder. She clenched her teeth watching as her bullets flew into soldier's chest, he twitched and then fell back against the ground unmoving. IC: (X-Mansion) It wasn't a far walk down the hallway to the stair-case that lead back up to the ground floor. From there Christine began to head towards the hallway where everything had gone down. On her way there she passed by an open room, a small living room of sorts where teens gathered to fight over what to watch or battle each other in videogames. She paused when she saw a group of teens staring at the screen silently. It wasn't like them to be this overly quiet. Christine cocked her head and glanced at the TV as she tuned in. "This just in, the New Years Ball Drop in New York City has turned into a massacre, Hydra soldiers are pouring in all over the scene, attacking civilians, there have been reports of a suicide bomber and as you can clearly see the Ball turned into a gigantic Hydra Skull. The NYPDD are doing their best to engage the Hydra terrorists and it seems that SHIELD has sent their Arch Angel soldiers in as well..." A frantic reporter informed. ######. This wasn't good. Hydra was attacking New York... again. Christine clearly remembered last time they had a year ago it had been a blood bath. Except last time she'd had Matt and John fighting alongside her. They were both gone now. It was up to her and whoever else she could rally up from the now disbanded X-Men to do something about this. Christine turned and then flew down the hallway. She didn't stop until she came up on Aleks still standing in the hallway where Ashley had tried to smash Nicole to pieces. "Aleks!" Christine shouted as she ran up to him, clearly out of breath. She paused for a moment to catch her breath. "Something terrible has happened." "Let me guess. Galactus. There's a mutant kraken attacking Baja California. I didn't TiVo Project Runway. Am I close?" Under other circumstances Christine might have laughed. Except this wasn't one of those times. She quickly shook her head. "No, Hydra has attacked Time Square, they are murdering innocent people, New York is under attack again." "Have any kids run off to go be heroes yet?" Aleks asked. It was always hard for Christine to get a read on him, especially in times like this. "Ah don't think so, you might want to lock down the school with your powers, cover all the windows and exits. But we need to do something... Ah need to do something. Matt wouldn't stand by and watch this happen, neither would John and they're gone now. Ah'm going to go stop them, but Ah can't do this alone." "You know, I remember Matt and John singing that particular tune themselves." Aleksandr released an agitated sigh and rubbed his hands together resignedly. "Fine. Meet me downstairs. Bring three guns for yourself and a lot of ammo. And find my knives!" She knew he was right. The last time Matt tried to be a hero and save John he'd gotten himself killed. And for what? But this wasn't the same. She knew she'd never be able to live with herself if she didn't try. "Thank you," she sighed before leaning in and kissing him hard. "Just in case we don't get to do that again. Ah want you to know Ah love you Aleks. Ah'll meet you down there in fifteen, Ah'm going to see if any of the other old X-Men are willing to come. Ah won't forget your knives, promise."
  23. IC: (X-Mansion, Sub-Level) "Hey Kitty, you think you can still show me to my dorm?" Quinn asked sheepishly. IC: (Time Square) He was getting closer. Things were in utter chaos. People were screaming. The ball had been transformed into Red Skull's ugly mug. Elmo had a bomb strapped to him, and... he blew up. Killing a good number of innocent people too. This wasn't how people were supposed to start off the new year. Kane ducked behind a car for cover as he grasped the hilt to his flame-resistant sword. "This is going to suck." he muttered. IC: (Time Square) Now on the rooftop Jennifer zoomed in on the Elmo with the bomb strapped to him with her rifle. Then watched as he exploded, raining fire down upon Time Square and killing anyone in fifty feet or so around him. "No..." she cursed, she'd been too late. At least she saw Arch Angels descending upon the battle and engaging Hydra soldiers. SHIELD had sent in their best. Terrance had followed her up to the rooftop. "Things look nasty down there, how do we know whose civilians and which ones are Hydra agents in disguise?" "Good question, if they start pulling out guns and shooting innocent people they're probably Hydra. I see some normal dressed goons too, they'll be easier targets." "Right, I'm on it," Terrance said before launching himself over the edge of the building. She then turned her rifle towards a Hydra goon that was wearing his normal colors, pulled the trigger and sent a bullet flying at his chest. IC: (X-Mansion, Sub-Level) "Hey, Sakuya right? Mind if you watch Ashley in here for a bit?" Christine said. "Ah'm sure Kitty will be on her way to visit her soon. Ah'd like to find Aleks." she smiled at the girl. "Thanks!" Christine said without waiting for Sakuya to answer, she turned and left the medical room. Figuring Aleks was probably around where the Ashley and Nicole incident had gone down. OOC: Tyler told me the Elmo dude probably exploded and that there are about 60 or so disguised Hydra troops and normal dressed Hydra goons.
  24. Let's do it then Ex-X-Men Squad up: Aleks, Alec, Christine, Nero and whoever else wants to go. Maybe throw in a Julia I think she's back. Hydra enemy wise, this is coming from Tyler: I asked if the Arch Angels would be sent down to fight against the Hydra threat, he said "they're there" Asked about the enemies: "there are probably several dozen (no more than sixty or so) disguised as civilians, but for the most part you'd know hydra goons as hydra goons Tyler St. Francis: and the guy in the elmo suit has probably detonated by now"
