  1. IC: "This way, follow me!" Christine said to a group of terrified civilians as she ushered them down the alleyway towards the Blackbird. Three Hydra goons turned and began to run down the alleyway, shooting at Christine. She created a wall of sound that deflected their bullets before unleashing it. The wall rushed into the goons, smashing into them and flinging them backwards into the sides of the buildings nearby. They didn't get up. IC: Quinn had positioned himself closer to the action. He'd engaged a few Hydra guards, taking out one with a bone shard to the eye when he spotted a small Asian boy standing alone in the center and crying. "This isn't good." Quinn grimaced as he rushed towards the boy and pulled him into his arms. "Let's get you out of here." he said as he turned to head back to the Blackbird. That's when a bullet burst past Quinn's left thigh, cutting into his flesh and causing white hot pain. He nearly lost his footing, except he caught himself, before he turned and unleashed four bone shards from his free hand. They flew into the gut of the Hydra soldier who'd grazed him, he dropped his gun and gripped at the bones sticking out of his body before he fell back against the ground. "Too close." Quinn said as he began to walk back towards the Blackbird, wincing from his wound, and making a note to patch it up as soon as this kid was safe. IC: "Copy Titanium Blonde. This is Blue Chick, I have an airborne vehicle that might work. What do you have in mind?" Jennifer said over the com-channel. "And what is Harkan's ETA?"
  2. IC: The one time werewolf distanced himself from the Blackbird and the normal X-Men. The Ultimate mutant moved deeper into the Time Square massacre, his cyan eyes keeping watch for possible threats. He ducked as a Hydra soldier took a few pot shots at him. He then returned fire, keeping the soldier pinned down behind his cover. Johnathan quickly reloaded his gun before he glanced up. The soldier moved from behind cover for an instant to take a shot and John pulled his trigger, dropping him before he had the chance. Something big and metal impacted the ground a ways off. John watched as a power-armored Hydra soldier stood up. The light playing off the bootleg Ironman armor as the soldier turned, lifting a metal arm up as it honed in on a target. John turned to see what it was aiming at... a bus full of innocent people that had been placed for onlookers to watch the Ball Drop and was now wedged between a few cars. "****." John cursed as a repulsor blast burst from the Hydra tin-can's palm and burst into the side of the bus. Part of the bus exploded, the area with the door being completely destroyed and further trapping the rest of the surviving riders inside. He could hear their screams. He'd been too slow, some of them were dead already. "Hey! Cyber-****!" Johnathan said as he lifted his pistol and unleashed three shots to the Soldier's metal dome. The soldier flinched but the bullets didn't do anything but dent his armor. The soldier turned before lifting both palms and unleashing twin repulsor blasts at John, he jumped into the air, using his metal arm to block some of the energy coming at him which still flung him backwards into a car. Glass shattered behind Johnathan as he pulled himself up and began to run. This time he was ready for the next blast, he jumped to the left, dodging it with quick agility as he gained on his target. Another blast came towards John he ducked and rolled under this one. He was close to the armored warrior now, he knew that he could burst into the air at any minute which would make things a lot harder for John. He lifted his pistol and unleashed a shot to the soldier's forehead to catch him off guard, the armored-Hydra tried to lift into the air but Johnathan burst forward, stabbing three claws into the soldier's shoulder, cutting through his armor and into flesh. Johnathan was pretty sure he could hear the man scream from within his armor as John turned his claws, making it even more painful as he tucked away his gun. The armored-Hydra flew them up a bit higher as he now began to assault John with armored punches and kicks. When John got tired of taking the hits he lashed out with his other pair of claws, slashing at the Hydra's arm as it flew towards his face, his claws catching him in the wrist and cutting straight through. John then stabbed his claws forward, into the face-mask of the Hydra soldier before wrenching them out, slick with blood. Then the free-fall began, they weren't very high up, maybe about twenty feet above the ground. John positioned himself on top of the Hydra armor, using the armor to take the brunt of the impact when they landed. He opened his palm, catching the severed armored hand he'd cut off in the air before pulling out the flesh hand and tucking away the armored hand. He then bent down before cutting off the other hand of the dead warrior and doing the same process. "Yo, Cali, I got you a Hydra repulsor hand bro!" he said as he looked over at the bus full of innocents before he decided to head over there to cut them out of their death-trap.
  3. IC: The Hydra grunt blinked his eyes in disbelief when the grenade somehow ended up in the mutants hand before being throw a safe distance away where it then exploded harmlessly. He didn’t know what this mutants’ power was, but apparently he was immune to range attacks. The Hydra grunt grudgingly put away his grenade launcher before drawing twin long serrated combat knives and charging at Dallas as he began to slash at him. IC: "How's it goin up there? We ran into some trouble but we're holding our own." Christine informed her Russian assassin. "Nice shot Bekah." Johnathan grunted. OOC: Alec, Sakuya, Gabriel, Morrison, Julia, Kristen, Hydra grunts left not killed or in combat: one for, so six dudes left un in combat we’ve taken half out guys.
  4. IC: Johnathan stepped up next to Dallas. “Nice to see you enjoying yourself.” He grunted before he bent down and cut a large piece of the soldier’s pant leg that Dallas had just downed. He then proceeded to wrap it around the bullet wound in his shoulder to staunch the bleeding. The bullet had gone through so he didn’t have to dig it out. There was now some slick crimson mixed onto the sleek black fabric of his X-Suit as he got back to his feet. As Christine’s enemy lifted his weapons and began to unload led at her again she threw her hands forward, creating a massive wall of sound like she’d seen Nero do. She mimicked his style, knowing how to do this only because she’d absorbed some of his thoughts. Christine then clapped both of her hands together, forming two massive walls of pure, super-loud base sound on either side of the soldier attacking her. Once her hands touched the walls smashed into the soldier on either side. What happened next to him wasn’t pretty; however she turned away so she didn’t have to look. “And that’s how you drop the base.” She muttered. One of the Hydra soldiers began to fire at Quinn. He was armed with a glock and a large knife. Quinn jumped to the right as bullets bounced off the Blackbird near his head. He then rushed forward as sharp bones began to burst from his arm as he threw it forward. Six sharp bone shards flew out of his arm, spinning through the air as they flew straight at the Hydra soldier. He jumped to the left, most of them missing him except three of the bones slammed into his side, cutting into him. The soldier cursed and almost lost his footing before he began to fire at Quinn again. He ducked and jumped out of the way before throwing up his palm and unleashing a single long bone shard that shot straight towards the soldier's throat. It hit him on the mark, stabbing into his throat, the point coming out the back. The Hydra grunt gurgled as he fell to the ground. The grenade the mook threw at Nero was somehow hit by a bullet out of thin air, bursting and turning into a ball of flame that blinded him for a moment. Another soldier packing a grenade launcher glanced at normal Dallas. He wasn't sure how his comrade had just been dispatched by the kids apparent twin. "Die mutant!" he said as he let it rip, firing a grenade at Dallas chest.
  5. Part 6 This wasn’t how things were supposed to be. Ashlynn Summers sat alone in her new room, staring at herself in the mirror. She was wearing a sleeveless black satin dress, which made her pale skin look even-more-so. Her scarlet hair combed to one side of her neck and her bright emerald eyes locked onto her own reflection. She didn’t recognize herself. She shouldn’t be here with these people. She knew she wasn’t Black Queen material. She was a healer, a nurse and a teacher. Now she was a murderer. She saw their faces in her dreams. Jeremy, the faces of millions of innocent people the Phoenix had consumed in fire. The Phoenix, she felt it all the time. Like a new personality within her, a force of fire and destruction that waited beneath her flesh like a river of lava, poised like a serpent to spring on a moments’ notice and to deal out death. She missed them. She missed her friends, John, Dallas, Ashley, Matt, Christine, and Ric. Especially Ric. She felt a pang of regret in her chest when she thought about Alaric. He’d been there since she could remember. She saw his face too in her dreams, she saw Warren wearing his face as he lunged in, trying to kill her. What would Ric do if he saw her? How had he reacted to what happened in Vegas? Was he even still alive? Ashlynn had no clue. She wanted to know, she wanted to reach out to him. HeII, she’d tried. But the connection never went through, it was like some force was barring her from contacting him. You can never go back to them… A voice whispered in Ashlynn’s head. As she looked in the mirror now she saw something else reflected in the glass. The head of a small, burning bird, coiling around her own neck as it leaned in to whisper into her ear. They don’t understand… they will try to kill you… kill you like they killed your mother. They will always turn on you. Your friends will always try to kill you once you have reached your full potential… you are important Ashlynn Summers, this universe needs you. It needs us, can’t you see that? Ashlynn’s eyes seemed to glaze over for a moment, the voice in her head had an unnatural sway to it. Suddenly the fire returned to her eyes. “NO, I won’t listen to you! Shut up!” Ashlynn shouted as she threw her hand out. The glass cracked and shattered as the wood around the mirror began to burn away into ashes, the glass-shards melting down into slag from the heat. Then it was over, the mirror was gone and so was the voice. She sat there breathing hard for a moment, before she threw herself onto the bed and began to sob. -****- “This place isn’t bad,” John said as he sat at the bar next to Dallas. The two teens had shown their fake ID’s to the bartender before being served each a beer. Dallas raised his beer up and grinned at John. “Cheers, to a fresh start. The X-Men have hit California!” John brought up his beer and clinked it against Dallas’ before pulling it to his lips and chugging. “Cheers,” he said as he finished his sip and placed it down on the counter before he glanced around at the bar. It was dark inside; the air smelled of smoke and TV’s hanging from the roof all showed the current Football game. “I admit, the girls in California aren’t bad,” John said as he glanced at a blonde bar-keep. “Isn’t it a bit fast for you to be thinking about other girls? Didn’t your fiancé just die?” Dallas seemingly frowned. “Yeah, you’re right Cali,” John nodded. “But beer can only distract me so much.” John’s smile deflated a bit. He didn’t want to think about her. Not right now, not when he was trying to be distracted. He didn’t want Cali to have to feel what he felt either. “You know Cali; I thought she was going to be the one. I pictured us getting married, pictured us raising that deranged clone Novocain made from both of our DNA, Liam, maybe having a few natural kids of our own…” he shook his head before taking a big gulp. “I was stupid,” he sighed. “Should have known I’ll never have something like that; it doesn’t work out like that for people like me.” He glanced over at Dallas. “So how’s your love life going bro?” “Oh, it’s going. I think.” Dallas said as he took his own sip. “I really like Ashley; I think we may become an item soon.” “Oooh, Matt’s ex. That won’t make him happy.” John grinned as he drained his beer. “Oh well, it’ll be interesting either way. Good for you man.” -****- Sebastian Shaw stood within the lower levels of the Hellfire mansion. The décor down here could be described as… medieval dungeon or perhaps a pagan temple. There was a large stone slab in the center of the circular stone room he stood in. Torchers were lit all around, casting the dungeon into an crude light. Six robed figures stood around Sebastion. They were here to help him perform the ritual. Shaw heard footsteps on the stairwell behind him and turned to see Ashlynn step down to the bottom, two black armored Knights standing behind her. “What is this?” She asked as she glanced around with those bright green eyes. “Why did you bring me down here Shaw?” Ashlynn asked, she looked worried, apprehensive. “Do not be afraid my lady,” Shaw began cordially. “I have summoned you here to keep my word on a promise I made to you. I told you I would help you control what lays dormant inside you, and it is time that we began… please lay down on the slab.” He said as he gestured towards it. Ashlynn didn’t look totally sure, but she wordlessly climbed onto the cold stone and then laid herself down. He knew she could read his mind, look into his intentions if she wanted too, but the six extremely skilled telepaths wearing the cloaks helped to form a powerful block around his mind. “Relax yourself Ashlynn,” Shaw said now. “Empty your mind and focus on my words… take a deep breath, and let it out.” Shaw looked up and nodded to the robed figures. NOW. He said, thinking the signal so they’d pick up on it. It was simple really, the task he’d given the telepaths. The Phoenix Force was a powerful and unruly force, but it was also damaged, it wasn’t complete. Shaw told them to attack this weakness, to focus on breaking it further, to splinter the Phoenix force in two, into Dark and into Light. They would also strip away Ashlynn Summers… she would be locked away deep inside her own body. Her personality would be trapped in a mental prison as this new Dark Phoenix took complete control. “NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME!” Ashlynn shouted now as she began to twitch. Her eyes snapped open, a pure red now. “NO! I DON’T WANT TO GO AWAY! PLEASE!” then Ashlynn’s voice was gone, replaced by a deeper inhuman voice that seemed to rise from deep within her chest. “Splintering… splintering… noooooooooo!” There was a sudden flash of bright light as a massive bird of pure white flame suddenly burst from Ashlynn’s chest. It flew towards the ceiling, melting through it in an instant before it took to the sky and vanished. It had worked; The Phoenix had been split into two once again. The light had gone, now there was only darkness. Ashlynn’s body suddenly sat up and she threw her hands to the left and right as dark-crimson flame burst from her hands bursting into the six arranged telepaths and turning them instantly into ashes. She aimed her hand at Shaw next. “What have you done to me?” “Only what had to be done,” Shaw smiled. “I have released you my dark queen… the light is gone, now you are free to destroy as you see fit.” “Then tell me why I shouldn’t destroy you?” The Dark Phoenix asked, all emotion gone from Ashlynn Summer’s face. “Because you need me, because I will be your dark prince,” Shaw lowered himself to one knee. “Because I know how this world works and I know how to bring it to its knees, and I know how to make sure the light never merges with you again.” The Dark Phoenix lowered her hand now as she rose from the slab. Her clothes melted away, replaced by the crimson and gold costume of the Dark Phoenix. “Very well.” -****- He hadn't slept in what felt like days. Alaric had been too busy trying to form a plan. The others looked up to him, it was hos job to figure out how to fix this. How to find Ashlynn and make everything go back to the way they were. But everything can't be the same anymore, can it? He thought. He knew too much had happened. Too many friends had died. She'd killed some of them. No, he wouldn't give up. He'd find where she was. He'd find a way to reason with her, find a way to get rid of the Phoenix inside her if it was the last thing he did. Even if he had to search the cosmos for an answer. Ric's eyes grew heavy and eventually he slumped at his desk, where he'd been grading papers along with trying to come up with a solid lead. His face pressed against the desk as his eyes closed and he drifted off. Ric saw darkness. In that darkness he saw a figure. They were far away, he started running towards them. It was a girl with bright red hair and emerald eyes. Ashlynn. She turned towards him slowly, still far away. Her hand reaching for him. NO! I DON’T WANT TO GO AWAY! PLEASE Her voice rang out through the darkness. RIC PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE! NO! I CAN'T FIGHT THEM ALL! I CAN'T LOOSE MYSELF PLEASE! He ran towards her now, wings flapping as he flew towards her. He knew he had to reach her and never let go. "I'm coming Ash!" he shouted, but as fast as he flew she only seemed to be getting further away. Her hand was still stretching towards him as she looked back at him. "I'm sorry Ric." she said and suddenly she was gone. "NO!" Ric shouted as he suddenly sat up at his desk, his fists clinched. He'd been so close, she'd been in his mind, she was out there somewhere but something had happened to her... something terrible, and he'd been unable to stop it.
  6. IC: The soldier screamed as the noise assaulted him, the walls of force knocking him back and causing him to stumble. His bullets being deflected. He fought off the urge to crumble to the ground, due to the insane sound and instead pulled out a frag grenade, primed it and attempted to throw it over the wall of sound that was blasting against him, hoping for it to land near the sound-mutant and blow him away.
  7. OOC: Sorry bout that dudes, I edited that bit out for yah IC: Blue eyes opened. Nicole took a shaky breath and looked around at her surroundings. I'm not dead... Why am I not dead? Were the only thoughts she could muster. She deserved to die for what she'd done to Dallas. It appeared she was in some sort of hospital. It hurt her to even think about moving let alone trying to speak, she guessed they'd stopped the bleeding somehow. She closed her eyes again, tears forming around the edges. I can't even kill myself right... IC: Johnathan snapped into action as the Hydra soldiers surrounded them and began to engage. He darted forward as Christine blasted back the soldier with double-pistols. The uzi-grunt sprayed fire at Johnathan, who in turn ducked and rolled across the ground, lifting up his metal arm to ward off a few of the bullets as he charged forward. The uzi fired again, Johnathan doing his best to doge, however he felt a bullet pump into his shoulder as he came in closer. He unleashed a powerful kick, knocking the gun from the soldier's grasp before he slashed upwards with his free hand, cutting into the soldier's chest. He then fired three shots into his chest with his other hand before dropping the soldier to the ground. It had begun.
  8. IC: A squadron of twelve elite Hydra soldiers had seen the Blackbird once it had landed and the cloaking systems had been disengaged. They now rushed down a large alleyway, many black combat boots thudding against it as they headed towards the X-Men. The group of twelve warriors soon reached the clearing the Blackbird was currently resting in. They broke off, six going around either side of the Blackbird. “Kill them all!” one of the Hydra soldiers shouted, as he pulled up his rifle and began to fire at Nero. Another one lifted up a shotgun, took aim and fired at Dallas. One soldier loaded with double pistols game around, before spraying the ground near any Christine, while one of his buddies, armed with an uzi came up beside him before adding to the fire. Christine dodged to the left as the ground erupted with gunfire. She threw out a hand, unleashing a sonic blast to the chest of the Hydra soldier and blasting him backwards. OOC: Not sure if I’m overstepping my bounds here, just thought the X-Men could use some NPC’s to fight; 13 soldiers for the X-Men who didn’t get off on the building, one a piece. X-Men: Alec, Dallas, Quinn, Nero, Sakuya, Gabriel, Christine, Morrison Dallas, John, Bekah, Julia, Kristen,
  9. IC: Johnathan waited for the Blackbird to land before he glanced at Showstopper. "Well I since my gun apparently counts as a ranged power, let's hit it." he said as he pulled out his glock, making sure to hold it in his flesh hand before clicking off the safety and sliding down the boarding ramp to the ground. SNIKT. Thre adamantium claws burst from each of Johnathan's knuckles, the ones on his gun hand sliding out, but they were far enough away from the gun they didn't affect his aim our touch it. It felt like it had been way to long since he'd done something like this. "You heard the man, get the civilians out and let's kill some Nazi's! Happy ****ing New Year New York city!" Quinn followed Johnathan down the ramp. "Woah he has claws?" he said as he saw the adamantium claws slide out. He must be Wolverine's kid, that's so cool. Quinn hit the ground next, making sure to allow a good amount of bone shards to stick out of his arms, so he could shoot them out at any Hydra enemies that attacked them, he stayed close to the Blackbird, using it as cover. "We're on the ground," Christine told Aleks over their com-link as she followed John and Quinn down. She'd borrowed Nero's sonic powers along with John's healing, which meant she'd be able to attack Hydra soldiers with ranged sonic blasts.
  10. If you want to know what to do to jump in, Time Square New York is currently under attack by Hydra. I'd send your character there.
  11. IC: “Perhaps one day we will see the Brotherhood kneel down and admit their god is beneath that of Makuta. Perhaps he was a follower of Makuta’s.” Insidian said. “Let’s not get into this whole debate,” Zarkov almost frowned. “We’re here for a common mission, not to kill each other.” He glanced at the Po-Toa as she jogged to the gate. “And now it would appear to be time to depart.”
  12. IC: “Well put,” Johnathan stated, though the inside of the jet wasn’t invisible. “You’re sassy like the other Alex was. I once saw him stand up to a whole horde of mechs alone.” “Give her something so I can arm-wrestle her for a hundred bucks when this is all over.” “Alright we’re going to do this,” Quinn said as he took a deep breath, got up and glanced out one of the windows. He allowed twin long blades of thick bone protrude out of each wrist as he waited.
  13. IC: “Be careful down there,” Christine said into her com once the three X-Men had departed and had been dropped off on their balcony. “Promise me, Ah’ll see you again tiger.” She said to Aleks. She was a bit nervous for everyone to go into battle. Some like Quinn were young and inexperienced. The others had been through this before, but still, not all of them had made it out alive. She didn’t think she could take loosing anyone so soon after John and Matt.
  14. IC: "There he is," Zarkov grinned. "Our resident Brotherhood member." he said when Ira walked up.
  15. IC: Ashlynn follows Jesika and Alecto by jumping from building to building, relying on her vampire senses and speed and strength. The wind tore at her scarlet hair as she hurled herself from a rooftop before landing on the next, her gun tucked into her pants so she had both hands open for jumps. IC: "Good luck slim," Johnathan said as he got up and grabbed his own com before putting it on.
  16. IC: Blam, Blam. A Hydra soldier with an automatic pistol fired at Kane, he lashed out with his blade, barely able to deflect the shots before he hit them. He charged forward as another bullet burst from the soldier's chamber. Flame burst from his finger-tips, hitting the bullet before it hit him and turning it into white-hot slag. The melted bullet splashed against Kane's shoulder, burning his flesh as he slid up to the Hydra soldier, slashing at his weapon with his sword and cutting through the gun. The soldier tossed the weapon away before grabbing a combat knife. Kane bathed him in flame before slashing upwards with his sword, cutting the soldier's arm in half, at least the flames would seal the wound. The Hydra grunt screamed in pain as Kane punched him in the side of the head with his off hand dropping him to the ground, before he took cover behind another car, breathing hard, his black tank-top soaked with sweat. IC: The so-called Detroit Batman had his hands full. He jumped as a Hydra grunt with a shotgun let-er rip, blowing a chunk out of the ground where Terrance had just been standing. Terrance ran towards his target, doing a zig-zag pattern as his enemy tried to get a lock on him. He pulled the trigger, hitting Terrance in his side. The blunt of the blast knocked the wind out of Terrance and he could feel a few of his ribs cracking from the blow as some blood burst from his lips. He grimaced but kept moving, knocking the shotgun out of the soldier's grasp with a well-placed kick. "Why do you fight, you can't win!" The Hydra soldier said as he pulled out two combat knives. "I fight because I have to," Terrance narrowed his eyes, pure white due to the small black mask over the bridge of his nose. "I can't let ***holes like you take innocent lives without justice, someone has to stop you." he said as the soldier lunged for him, slashing at him with his two knives. Terrance blocked the strikes with his wrist-blades, one of the soldier's strikes got through, a blade cutting across his cheek. The other knife lunged towards Terrance's throat. Suddenly the side of the Hydra's soldiers head exploded with a shower of red. Terrance glanced up to see Jennifer wave at him from on top of her building. "Thought you could use some help!" she shouted to him. "Thanks!" Terrance barked before turning to look for another Hydra soldier amongst the chaos.
  17. So I played a while in chapter 1 (Ta-Koto area), my only gripes are as follows... The fact the Skull Spiders can knock you of ledges etc. when you're super high up and its a lot of work to get up there. The fact that its kinda hard to tell where you're supposed to go at times, perhaps a quest or objective arrow or hint if you get lost for too long? Sometimes I just had to wing it and fling myself into the air to find ledges I didn't know about. I got to the part where the ledges collapse and fall down, and I fell all the way down and said **** it and stopped playing, I might try again. Perhaps making it a tad... easier? idk
  18. IC: "Now that sounds sensible," Crystalia smiled. "I'm experienced with going in with stealth and getting the job done, I used to be an assassin." she smiled. "I didn't offer my services to wind up dead or in prison. In reality I care little for the payout, though I do expect a share... no I'm doing this more simply because I'm bored." "So, what is our actual plan?"
  19. IC: "Are you not coming with?" Jarrun asked Skuggy with a raised brow.
  20. IC: “I have no love for the Brotherhood,” Insidian said slowly. “They worship a false idol.” “Nah I didn’t tell him anything except this might be an in for him to get into the Legacy.” Zarkov said as they returned to the gate. “Is that Skakdi comin’ with us now? I talked to her earlier. I also had this chick named Dravennica or somethin’ who was supposed to hunt down that Toa with me but she ran off to find someone else and never came back, if we need someone else maybe she’d be interested.” He shrugged. “You think Ira is goin to show up? Or the Po-Toa?”
  21. IC: Ashala awoke the next morning feeling refreshed. She yawned and sat up in her bed before glancing around her room. She opened her door before stepping out, checking to see if Londar or Nekka were awake. "Morning!" she called.
  22. IC: Insidian stared back with crimson eyes. "I spent a long time underground harnessing my power, training and forging myself in the darkness." he said, his voice was cool and emotionless. "I trained a daughter to be my hand, and used her to kill people I thought posed a threat to Makuta... until recent events I have been ignorant to the Legacy's existence, I was waiting to meet with its leader, but alas the wait at the door was far to long for my taste." "I told him you offered an in with the Legacy to certain members if they wanted it." Zarkov winked.
  23. IC: “Ah, right… Ah don’t think Ah’d be able to borrow your healing then,” she frowned, she believed her ability worked best with mutants and superhumans.” She placed her bare hand on Nero, hoping she wouldn’t suddenly grow fur and fangs. She got a slight jolt as some of his recent memories flooded into her head, along with some quirks as she felt his sonic power download. She immediately released his hand. The world sounded different now. It was as if every sound was crisp and clear, much louder and at first it hurt her ears. “That didn’t go over that bad, yeah?” she said before she turned and walked up to Johnathan. “You’re next,” she said before she touched a hand to his cheek. She pulled away as his thoughts rushed into her mind. She saw flashes of him tearing into Phalanx warriors, felt his terror and adrenaline and the loss of comrades for an instant. She knew she’d taken his healing ability as well when bone claws didn’t pop out of her knuckles. Satisfied she sat back down. This way with the healing factor she was more likely to survive the battle. "No one's dying today, alright? Let's work as a team, cover each others butts and make sure we all get out of this alive." "Oh man you guys have lost people before?" Quinn said. "This isn't a videogame kid." “Yo, X-Bones,” Johnathan said to Alec, calling him by the moniker of the Alec he’d known. “You got this things stealth systems on? Hyrda is packing some firepower, I think we all know what happened to the other Blackbird over Vegas. If not I’d turn them on, put is down somewhere away from the action.” IC: “Wait for me,” Ashlynn said as she slid out of the window with vampire speed. She wondered if her fellow Ultimate X-Men would show. She hoped son. She wanted to see John again, she wanted to fight with them, even if she was... different.
  24. IC: Christine thought about what Alec said and then nodded. “Okay,” she said before she got to her feet and approached Nero. If she tagged John she’d also get those nasty claws, but if she tagged Nero she’d get his healing factor and his sonic abilities since her mutation now allowed her to stack two different abilities. “Kristen can’t use her powers anymore, ever since… well you know.” She said. “Mind if Ah give you a quick touch?” she asked Nero with a wink pulling of an indigo colored glove. “Wolbacia huh? That’s cool. I tried to come up with a codename when I was younger and developed my powers. My first idea was Boner,” he said as he lifted a hand and allowed four sharp bones to protrude from his hand before sliding them back into himself. “But then I realized that’s a terrible name.” “So, from what I’ve seen we have soldiers, Power armor wearing nazi’s, drones and snipers. Aleks, Slim and Jeff are focusing on the snipers, anyone with ranged attacks should try their hands on the drones, for the most part we should try to take down the soldiers. I’ll concentrate on the Power armored ones; I’ve always preferred slicing up tin-cans.” He smirked.
