He usually just takes the bus.Never officially explained; as far as I recall, Greg has said that he doesn't want to provide an answer because anything would seem too contrived?... or something along those lines. He wasn't part of the team that made MNOG so he doesn't know what their initial plan was for Kapura's ability.

I think we can conclude that Astra needs to have her backstab power level decreased.
Not because she's too powerful, necessarily, but because she dies instantly if using the mechanic that the character is based around, even once. And that's silly.

It's almost like I planned for this...
not really
not at all

GM IC - GEM OF ???
As Mirror and Halken's feet impacted against the stone doors, they were met with strong resistance - but the doors did, in fact, budge. It seemed that they were old and long disused, carved rock scraping gradually across the ground.
However, before they could take any further action, there echoed a rumbling sound throughout the chamber. Seemingly paralyzed for a moment, the four adventurers could only watch as a crack opened in the floor and new wall of thick stone rumbled up between the two doorways. Ilyin found himself standing with Halken, while Langmuir was next to Mirror at the other door.
Strangely, there had appeared a semicircular hole on the side of the new stone wall - as the wall rose, the single torch bracketed on the wall fit right into it, so that both groups could reach in and grab the torch, though the hole was far too small for most anything else to fit through.
Simultaneously, the two doors groaned slowly open, revealing pitch-dark passages beyond. -
I think we've forgotten to mention that Astra is another Skype character, although I doubt anyone's surprised

I referred to the electricity as a web because that's probably what it looks like - but it's not shaped as one would picture a conventional spider web, it's electricity arcing back and forth from walls to floor to ceiling in an entire length of tunnel. From a two-dimensional view, it might look like a web, but from a three-dimensional view it clearly is not formed of overlapping strands.
The sword blocks only a few "strands" at a time - enough for Kuro and Prose to very carefully clear a couple electric arcs, to form enough space for themselves to step through, before moving the sword on to the next section ahead of them. By launching himself straight through this, Daltrahk probably should have died, but I decided that you shouldn't have your character killed instantly for making a single mistake, which is why he survived.
-
Ah. I actually didn't know that electrocution referred exclusively to lethal shock.

IC Daltrahk
Feeling more relieved, Daltrahk could walk normally again. Checking Magma Gear once more, he headed with the Rahks down the long, twisting hallway.
OOC: Waiting for a Chro post.
No you're not.
If you continue to fail to address the issues I have raised above, you're not going to like how this quest ends. :P
As it stands now, the post quoted here is invalid.

You're dead. Leave.
I vote for Manducus. Don't want Sg to win and don't want to hang the Potoo.
QP isn't the potoo.
I investigated QP night one, and he came up as Mafia.
I don't necessarily trust you, but I know how risky of a gambit it is to claim to be Detective when you aren't... so I guess it's probably legit? Don't want to support Sg's plans anyway.
I switch my vote from Manducus to QP.

Indeed.Oh, yeah. I meant 1-2. Chro already stated so somewhere.
I'm not trying to make this take more time and effort just for the sake of taking time and effort, but because I want the quest to be reasonably challenging. I believe you would've managed and not had to panic-rush through if Daltrahk hadn't jumped the gun, but that's another matter.
True, but Nato's right, and in this situation Kuro would be using his sword on many instances of strong electricity in quick succession unless he, say, stopped to let his sword cool down, which would almost definitely be dangerous if done in the midst of the electric web.I dunno, Kat's swords took Xara's Chain Lightning in the First Round. Granted, they were glowing White hot when they did, but.....
-
Yeah, but even if he stands there and looks at it, it's not going to allow him to just walk straight through it. That's what I'm saying - it's a deliberate process.
I'm quite tired, my wording is probably proportionally poor, sorry if I'm not making myself clear.

Entry seven is awesome. I suggest clicking on it to see the full picture rather than taking the thumbnail at face value.
It came so very close to getting my vote, but #7 seems to have an amount of G1 parts large enough to make me reconsider, and the Visorak won me over.
-
Almost went for TSO, but the Skrall got my vote.
-
Entries 1, 3, 4, 5, and 10 were all really cool. The Nui-Jaga got my vote.
-
Those Rahkshi are too snuggly-wuggly to pass up.
-
Voted for #2.
-
#3 gets my vote.
Like Ballom, none stuck out to me too much, but I personally don't see a point in nulling, so I voted for one that is definitely interesting in concept, even though I feel the execution was a little off.
-
Something about #9 is just really, really great to me. Can't place it exactly.
-
Entry five gets my vote. One of the better Matoro revamps I've seen overall, let alone for the contest.
-
Aww I just wanted to see the results. Oh well, thinking about it, it's better to keep things hidden until the end.
If you'd like a preview of the poll winner, entry #10 is available for public viewing

I'll echo Ballom and Dot here - that Mata Nui is great. I don't remember seeing it before, glad I took a look through the entries again before voting. >.>

When I say "silly" in reference to Astra, I actually mean "incredibly stupid"
