Looking back on the story, I noticed something. Mata-Nui is not a very good charactor.

Yes, but that was only after he'd forgotten about caring for the matoran inside him and almost getting killed. Only when he got kicked out of MU did he realise he had been an idiot. And that was probably with the Ignika's memories

Your case is different. You can't manipulate your inner workings so easily. Mata Nui can (as shown when Teridax changes everything round, the stars, etc...)

Mata Nui's job wasn't to make sure everything was fine and dandy inside. He was supposed to visit new worlds, which is exactly what he did.

 

The reason the league of 6 kingdoms and eventually the brotherhood revolted was because he wasn't caring for his insides, and they thought they could do better. So it was actually his responsibility.

Yes, but this is even creepier. It's one of your blood cells developing a brain, putting you into a coma, then banishing you to live as a blood cell until you can take over a dead body that's broken and cobble it back together for long enough to destroy your nemesis inside your own body before it kills everyone else. 

 

In the process, you are forced to live at blood cell size forever because there is no normal-size body for you to inhabit after your dead body falls apart.  

Teridax was slightly more powerful than a blood cell. Maybe a neuron or something.

Each piece has its own muscle and nerve system. When pieces are connected, they reconnect the muscles and the nerves at the joint. It's like a plug in a socket, and one stick does nerves, one does blood, etc...

It was cool to see them as toa. Kind of like when we found out vakama and his team were toa.

I'd be fine with making new characters break the rule, but please, Onua, Tahu, and Kopaka are NOT going to change gender.

Mata Nui went into a coma once all the matoran were captured. No blood to the brain = unconsciousness.

...then just take a look at the list of level 6 kraata powers.

I mean, seriously? Nearly any of the level six kraata could diable a toa nuva fairly easily, and the ease with which they could infect matoran is almost ridiculous.

 

My three questions are this.

1. Level six kraata are said to be highly intellegent, and can directly communicate with Makuta. Why did Teridax not use these things to quickly and easily dominate the matoran? I realize he was just biding his time, but wouldn't it have been so much simpler to infect all of the matoran, and get them to do exactly what he wanted? A simple but effective method would simply be to send a level 6 sleep kraata, and a level six elasticity kraata to each village to disable and infect all the matoran rather easily.

 

2. How the heck did the turaga manage to capture all those kraata? I know turaga are smart, but how would they manage to catch any of the more powerful ones? Even all six turaga working together would stand no chance against many of the level six kraata. Even if they used traps, many of the kraata are adept at burrowing, or otherwise escaping from such traps. Even if pinning a kraata somehow can restrain their power, there are kraata like plasma and molecular disruption which are literally surrounded by an aura of destruction.

Also, as a side note, how did Tahu and Kopaka manage to trap the kraata in the cave, when there are so many types of kraata that could destroy the barriers rather easily given enough time?

 

3. Why were Makuta's six elite rahkshi rather pathetic compared to their level six kraata versions? For example, kraata of fear and anger have powerful auras, but their rahkshi versions have to actually hit the target with energy. Seeing as the rahkshi's main advantage is size and physical strength, would it not make more sense to send rahkshi with defensive abilities like quick healing, limited invulnerability, or ice resistance, while backing them up with powerful kraata like chain lightning, darkness, or confusion?

1. He just wanted to distract them, not dominate them.

2. Turaga are still powerful, even though they have "retired." Six of them could easily overcome two or three kraata.

3. Is being able to kill Jaller with fear not powerful enough? They were trying to get the avohkii, not kill the toa. Teridax needed them later on to awake Mata Nui.

Plus, it takes ages for kraata to become rahkshi armour, so it takes even longer to get lv 6 kraata. My avatar should know!

That's actually really cool! I'm not a big fan of how protodermis is used for everything. Only the important things like masks, disks, and parts of the Mata-Nui robot should be made of it.

It's used for everything because it was the only material found inside Mata Nui's robot for them to use. Plus, it's also versatile enough to be used for almost everything.

Can we have at least one toa team WITHOUT 6 toa? There was the toa mangai, but we don't know half of their names.

Plus, does Matoro need to be replaced? Toa are meant to be almost all gone (from over 400 to less than 40).

If anything, a toa of lightning should join them to keep up the lightning theme with the inika.

Teridax is a perfect villain, and looks like evil and shadows in physical form.

Mutran was a scientist, and I find all his mutations on rahi really cool.

They're essential to some of the plot, such as Tridax's army of Shadow-Takanuva.

This is one of the events that is typical of the Makuta's genius and cunning.

However, I dislike reading too much into alternate universes because I think that they fit the main story better if they are left as mysterious places, allowing fans to imagine twisted possibilities for themselves.

Voya Nui was above Karda Nui over the stomach/chest/torso. Why isn't it visible on the picture?

These islands are a good place to add some story because Mata Nui's robot was never talked about whether the arms or fingers of feet made islands on the surface.

I think the 40whatsit powers that they have are too much. It's hard to get my head round  just a few!

I think it would be better if each Makuta could select 3 Rakshi powers, a kanohi, and their antidermis stuff.

Most matoran started by living on Metru Nui. There are no trees on Metru Nui. No trees = No paper.

The reason it wasn't invented later on Mata Nui, Stelt, or Voya Nui is because there wasn't a need for it.

There are still flaws with this idea, but it is the best I can think of.

We know there are loads of alternate universes in the Bionicle story, so it is possible that they will start again on Mata Nui, with the Toa Mata and all that. But then they might show a significant tweak in the plot that gives the story a completely different turn (Toa Metru include Orkahm and that group of matoran, but fail, something like that).

How exactly are they possible "in theory"?

There're no rules that state that it's impossible, but we have yet to see any "natural" examples.

What if... Matoran could be crossed between 2 elements? The toa inika are one example, but what about takanuva when he becomes half-light, half-shadow? Could you find matoran or toa who are naturally hetereo-element?

Menwhile the baraki are raising an army of ex dark hunters skral bone hunters and all other types of scum and try to take over sphernus magna.

 

Yes, they will come back, and take over MU as they intended. Without the Brotherhood to stop them, nothing can stand in their way!!! (Apart from Mata Nui, but oh well...)

Wait, is Pridak even still alive?

The way I would bring it back is to have it under intense security. To where under any circumstance, to try and keep it secret. Until the next three months for the next year I would give little hints and small leaks out on the internet and a day before the finalized website goes up I would release a slue of information and leaks. Then I would officially release it.

 

Year 1 The Bone Wars

 

In the first year the story would go as follows. After the planet of spherus magna is reformed a new threat would come by the name of kabrua, a vorox from the once mysterious jungle moon of bota magna. In search for conquest and destruction. And the old toa heroes along side new ones would have to defeat him, his allies and his army made using the mask of creation that he had stolen from a toa. That was given to said toa from artakha. Months before the events that had unfolded.

 

Year 2 The Great Mask Hunt

 

The toa discover that there's a great mask for each element and so they have to find them all to protect the planet. Then a new threat from legend comes and attacks the planet in search for their now stolen masks so the toa have to defeat this new threat and explain (if possible) that they where just trying to protect the planet. When assembled each mask would be able to use each power from every mask in existence including their own.

 

Year 3 The Imprisoned ones revenge

 

The imprisoned scrall and piraka from the great battle have escaped and formed a new alliance with each other. Now they are trying to take their revenge on the toa heroes and claim the planet for themselves. The toa heroes now have to defeat the scrall and piraka once and for all. And once more bring peace and harmony back to spherus magna.

 

Year 4 The Great Outbreak

 

The red star has fallen on to the planet. Bypassing the planets security and impacting on to the surface. And along with it. Zombie Matoran that have rampaged the planet now old fallen friends must help their old partners in helping to defeat this new threat and bring a cure to the world to kill off the zombie virus. And they, the toa and matoran will have to build even greater defenses out in space to protect the planet from even greater threats.

 

Year 5 A New Threat From Space

 

A new threat that endangered and destroyed past planets has come to spherus magna. Now the toa heroes and matoran have to build space fighters to protect the planet from this new threat and find out what exactly it is and destroy it from the inside. After destroying it they discovered clues as to where the great beings where from and as to what happened to their original home world.

 

Year 6 A God Beyond Ours

 

The toa and matoran build a massive ship from the remains of their last adversary in search for the great spirits original home world. For months they come up empty. Then one day they found a new world. They landed and found a giant city that was abandoned. There they discover what happened to the great beings and why the came to spherus magna. It was because long ago the great beings had a world that had fallen into a chaotic whorl of violence and crime so they built a facility that they used to make robotic police to protect their world from monters and crime. Then one day all the villains escaped and they managed to capture a lot of the but not enough and soon the villains had built a giant ship to take down their facility mean while they sent out their best hero to deal with problem on other planets. Those where ploys to try and make this facility unguarded and that's when they attacked. The city was completely desimated. But a few workers managed to escape the chaos and found spherus magna. Where they made new sentient species and animals to inhabit this new world. Then chaos fell amongst the sentient species called the glatorian. Due to finding a new energy source called energized protodermis. The great beings stopped the madness before the planet was completely destroyed. Then the great beings creating a giant robot called mata nui. But during the liftoff due to the chaos that once almost destroyed the planet. Their new world was split into three parts. aqua magna, bota magna, and spherus magna renamed bara magna by the survivors. Then well you know what happens then.

 

Year 7 (Where Do I Go From Here?)

 

This is as far as I could think to take the story. Any ideas people?

Great idea.

Perhaps ditch the classic six elements in favor of elements that didn't see the light of day in terms of sets (like Iron, Lightning, Plasma, Plant Life, Gravity, etc.). This could open up doors for pieces in new colors (or new pieces altogether).

Yeah, there must be some Fe-matoran still alive. This would be cool, and it would get rid of the fire, water, air, etc. cliche toa team.

I think some massive event should happen on Bota Magna because I feel not enough has happened on this moon.
