  1. OOC: Finally got around to posting, yet very soon I'll be leaving until Thursday. This time I'll have a mobile with me, so I'll try to put a few posts in.

    IC: Sidonas - P-o-t-W Ruins

"Yes. I made sure to bury them all..." Sidonas' voice trailed off as he looked at the ruins, he began speaking again after a few moments in silence. "They are buried. Come and find me in the Cauldron when you wish to speak." At that Sidonas threw himself into flight mode and made his way to the Cauldron, landing on the cold rock with a thump. He sat down and pulled his hood back up, pulling it low. The inventor took out his Codex, looking over armor he had sketched, trying to get his mind off of the dead Matoran he had seen, trying to focus on other things.

But he couldn't, that feeling of loss, of regret, kept eating at him. He knew deep down he couldn't bring himself to kill anyone, even the Makuta. Though he wished he could simply build a flintlock and fire a bullet in Tridax's face, but it was simply a wish.

I'm not a killer, not even to avenge an entire village. Sometimes I wish I would have killed. The murderer on Visorak, the loyalist, but even if I was an even match, what would be the point of taking a life? You'd be just as wrong as the person you're killing...Right?

Sidonas thought about this briefly, then left it alone, something to be dealt with later. His main priority was to find the other rebels and leave Corpus.

This Rahk I'm inviting will have questions, I need to stop grieving, stop being angry and just focus on my goal here. I get another rebel, it's one more person to keep from enslavement under Tridax.

  2. I can't say any of my characters would hire a mercenary, sorry.

As for posters, I think people have gotten paper and writing utensils from the Library before. If that doesn't suffice, the Cauldron probably has anything else you could need

I'm pretty sure 90% of things could be found at the Cauldron, because you know, convenience. Heck, I'd be surprised if someone didn't find a useful item in there. All I need is to start smuggling actual food in again....
  3. Update: Going away on a camping trip until Saturday. I should be getting back to posting more frequently when I return. Good evening and I hope to actually make a new character when I get back. (Unlikely since I spoke with John about a making two new characters and never got around to it, but I will still state it nonetheless.)

  4. IC: Aka'Ri

Aka nodded to Sidonas, and grabbed Matoran in threes, bringing them to the burial grounds again. And again. And again. How long it took, Aka'Ri had no idea. But all the Matoran within grabbing distance were present. As it turned to get the more hard-to-get-to villagers, it stopped, and turned to see a Matoran on the ground in front of it. A simple green Hau adorned its lifeless face. The expression portrayed on the cold mask was one of fear. Of futility. Of a knowledge that nothing it did could save it. Aka'Ri plunged its staff into the ground and let loose an explosion of pure anger, screaming with the most fury it could muster.

Soon, the sound stopped. Completely drained, the Rahkshi was. "I pledge from now on," Aka'Ri croaked in a soft voice only nearby people could hear, "that I will make the Makuta feel this way. I will make them suffer." It picked up the Hau and placed it in a nitch in the sand. Aka then moved back to the ruins of the once proud village, ready to honor its helpless, lifeless villagers.

    OOC: Character development

    IC: Sidonas - Beach

Sidonas kept burying the Matoran, first one grave was dug, then another, then another, in a cycle of what felt like hours, and probably was. He would dig the grave, bury them, cover it up, and give them the same solemn words that promised justice. When the last body was finally buried, Sidonas looked at all the graves, then over to Recoil. "Go find the others." he said in a gruff tone, his eyes filled with an unreadable feeling. Sidonas got into flight mode and flew over to the ruined village, appearing by Aka'ri. The inventor lowered his hood as a sign of respect to the village, and also as a sign of grieving.

"You asked me why I believe the Makuta would do this." Sidonas said in a hushed tone so that only someone close could hear him, "There was an assignment on Visorak not too long ago, the assignment got overrun by Visorak, we evacuated, but Tridax didn't care if we left anyone behind. Previous to that he encourged us all to torture a fellow Rahk. I didn't care what he had done, the things he was put through were sickening, and what Tridax did that day wasn't justice, it was brutality. Now he does this. Why you might ask? Myself and some Rahks went to this village to help someone or another, all I knew was that someone was in trouble and needed help, so I helped. Guess he didn't like whatever went down in the village, or the fact that he might just enjoy death and destruction, considering how many Rahks have died because of this school." Sidonas threw his hood back up, his face cold and angry.

OOC: Will Post Haken later. I will be absent until Saturday due to a camping trip.

"So much death and loss. These Matoran were innocent. You asked why the Makuta would do this, speak to me in the Cauldron and I will explain."

  5. GHIDDY AND KOVIKA.

    Where are Frog and Sidonas?

Sido is on the beach, about to possibly talk to Aka'Ri about rebellion. Sorry, I've been preoccupied the past few days. My uncle recently had surgery and I'm packing for a camp from this Wednesday to Saturday.

Also, some ken mind telling me why when I'm gone crazy #### always happens?

  6.

Hey, look at that. Ghidward is still trying to give us nightmares. :P

    Not Nightmares, Ghightmares.

All bad things in this world were either caused by Ghidora or Ghidora and Jakura.
That's a rather rash assumption don't you think?
  7. IC: Aka'Ri

Aka'Ri was silent for a moment at Sidonas's show of anger... pure, genuine anger even Aka himself wouldn't have been able to instill inside the other Rahk. He jumped into flight mode and grabbed three Matoran corpses - one on each shoulder and other on his lap - and flew them over to Sidonas, repeating the cycle until about 12 bodies lay at Sidonas's feet. He waited to retrieve more at Sidonas's command.

    IC: Karzfire

The magnarahk blinked in terror. He knew that without the interruption outside the battle, Karzfire would surely be dead. He simply retrieved his hammers, walked to an empty corner of the room, and summoned a practice dummy from the living stone walls of the Gym and began to hone his technique.

    IC: Hakrii

Hakrii immediately got up from the chair and followed Doubt down to wherever he went, hoping to find meaning in his cryptic gibberish.

OOC: Hakrii to Doubt; Karzfire OFI... though he might hit you with a hammer. Fair warning.  :P

Also, Kovika, Aka'Ri's not a dude. It's a thing of indeterminate gender.

    IC: Sidonas - Beach

Sidonas looked over at Recoil, his eyes attempting to give an apologetic look after the show of anger he had toward's Aka'Ri. In all truth, the illusirahk was angry, coming across Matoran slaughtered as they were, and the fact that their burial was in front of someone who by speech seemed loyal to Tridax - the Makuta, the scum Sidonas thought responsible for all the destruction he saw..

After digging the first grave Sidonas looked for something to use to cover a body. He found a roll of fabric, long and thick, and pulled it out, cutting off a piece to cover the Matoran. He passed it to Aka'Ri and spoke in a less threatening tone, one that was solemn and obviously saddened by the circumstances.

"Bring the rest of the dead. Cover them with what you can find. We'll bury them with what respect we can offer.

Sidonas looked down at the corpse below him, the body of the Matoran he had carried to the beach. It was small, lifeless, and just made him think of the horrible things he could invent to give Tridax and the rest of the Makuta a slow, painful death filled with agony and suffering.

They deserve it after what has been done. I swear on these Matoran, if I ever get my hands on a Makuta, any Makuta, and I have the opportunity, I will make the suffering they have put both Matoran and Rahkshi through seem like stepping on a pebble compared to what I have in mind for them.

Sidonas put down the shovel, slowly and gently lowering it down into the grave he had dug. He climbed back up, looked over the covered corpse, and spoke as calmly as he could while filling the grave.

"Rest easy Matoran, though you leave this life, you won't be forgotten. Sleep, knowing that I will do what I can to make it right."

Sidonas didn't really know what else to say. He had never buried anyone before, and felt nothing but anger, sorrow, and a desire to see justice be done. With that he picked up the shovel and walked away from the grave, going over to Recoil. He looked over the the pile of corpses, then back to her.

"There are still more we need to bury. Let's not deny them a proper burial."

He moved about a yard away from where he had buried the first one.

    Sidonas started digging.

    IC: Haken - Gym

Haken charged at Siren, his battleaxe ready to meet her.

  8. IC: Sidonas - Beach

Sidonas shot an angry glance at Aka'Ri, speaking to him with a frustrated tone.

"This is a burial. Shut it and have some respect. I'll answer your question later."

Sidonas was angry, bitter, and grieving in a way. He clenched his fists, almost wanting to punch the Rahk.

An entire village has been slaughtered and he asks if Tridax did it?! He's a Makuta! A sick, twisted, heartless murderer with no remorse or compassion! Of course he or his loyalists did it!

Sidonas was visibly and very obviously angry, he wanted to take his anger out on something, anything. To avenge the Matoran killed, to have justice brought to the innocent. He wanted to attack something, to just let out his anger, to just-

Sidonas felt someone putting their arms around him. He looked to his side, Recoil was hugging him, apologizing to him. He let out a breath and hugged her back affectionately.

"You've got nothing to apologize about. You didn't leave me." He spoke to her, his voice less angry, but more solemn. He grabbed the shovel from Aka'Ri and started digging.

"You." He pointed towards Aka'Ri, "Go get the others. We'll see that they all receive proper burials and a funeral."

  9. Before I post, what happened with Sidonas, Doubt, Shark, and the band since I last saw them?

I was actually just about to ask if I had missed replies from Dane, Dallior, and Unicode. Have I?
  10. IC: Sidonas - Phantom-On-The-Water

Sidonas walked slowly through the ruins, not really sure what to say to the Rahk who had asked what had happened. He was still trying to figure it out himself. The illusirahk got on one knee, looking at the corpse of one of the villagers. He put a finger down on the Matoran's neck.

"Ice cold. He's dead." Sidonas said solemnly. Getting up and going the next body, doing the same. Another dead. Sidonas repeated his actions again, a third, a fourth, a fifth, a sixth, a seventh time! He hoped that maybe one of these Matoran would still have signs of life, maybe there would be hope to save at least one innocent life.

But no, all he found was death, death and destruction, innocents slughtered, and a good idea as to who might be responsible.

"Tridax." Sidonas said in a low tone.

Sidonas let out an angry snarl, slamming his fist into what was left of a wooden platform. He ignored the shard of wood that cut his hand as the wood splintered. All he felt was anger towards the Makuta, and a feeling of sorrow for the Matoran whose lives had been taken.

"They killed them all, left their village in ruins and their bodies scattered in the rubble. We should bury them, they deserve at least that if nothing else. Somebody bring a shovel."

Sidonas didn't wait for anyone else to follow, he didn't wait for anyone's assistance, he just picked up a Matoran's lifeless body and got into flight mode, going over to the beach. He laid the body down, as well as his bag, and looked over at the seemingly infinite waters ahead of him.

    IC: Haken - Gym

Haken looked around, sheathing his battleaxe and drawing his sword.

    "Anyone want to spar?"

    OOC: Haken OFI

  11. IC: Recoil

Recoil put her hand on Sidonas' shoulder, nearly appearing out of nowhere. THIS is where she'd been. "Horrible, isn't it?" Recoil said. "Sorry I'm so late....I got caught up."

    IC: Sidonas - Phantom-On-the-Water

Sidonas looked at the rubble, the destroyed structures, walkways, and other pieces of architecture that had once been Phantom-On-The-Water. Several Matoran corpses lay ahead of him, and the inventor clenched his fists. He was angry, though spoke little, his voice cold and solemn at the sight ahead of the illusirahk.

"It's alright..." Sidonas said weakly, looking at the death and destruction ahead of him.

"How could this have happened Recoil? Innocents slaughtered. So much death.." Sidonas lowered his mouthpiece and let his hood fall back as he stared into the ruins of the former Matoran village.

Why did all these Matoran die? For what purpose were their lives taken?

Buildings lay in ruin, bodies remain spread across the crumbled and smashed homes, it was sickening, shocking, and angering all at the same time, but most of all:

It was one more reason to hate the Makuta, one more reason to want to watch them burn for their crimes against the innocent, the good and kind hearted, one more reason to rebel.

    Sidonas would gladly do so.

  12. Wait, you're serious?

Well, everyone give yourselves and each other a long round of applause. We've come a long way from November of last year, and we've all had a part, whether large or small. I think we all deserve a slice of celebratory Internet cake that Dallior baked in a sushi restraunt. :)

  13. Kovika, you just completely ignored Aka'Ri. :P

Yeah, but Sidonas mentioned smithing and metalworking as he was leaving. Aka'Ri should have heard him from that distance. So now he knows about a smith.

Oh, and Not-Ultron, do you think it would be possible to find any resources left in P-O-t-W? If so I've got some weapons that would need approval, or at least components of weapons.

  14.

    IC Mar'jik:

Mar'jik thought for a minute. "Tridax certainly could've known about the Exxan vs. Omega scandal before it happened, or while it was happening, and he didn't do anything to prevent it as far as I know.

    IC: Sidonas - Cauldron

"He doesn't care. I'd be surprised if he showed any sign of concern if one of his own Rahkshi were to die, if he has any that is."

Omega, first time I heard about him was when Fang stuck a sword to my neck and told me to leave. Funny, I stay locked up in my room focused on my work, speaking little to nothing, and the first real conversation I have with a Rahk in the school ends with Fang looking like he was about to kill me? Well, now I know when to laugh at myself because of that. I did a lot of stupid stuff then didn't I? Well, least I can say I've improved since then.

"Look, thanks for the talk, and the assist back in the school. I'll repay you with something, I owe you that at least."

Sidonas walked towards the exit of the caves, ignoring the other Rahkshi present. He turned around and said to Mar'jik before leaving:

"Ever need a blade or any metalworking done? I'm probably the best smith around here. Find me if you need me."

As he spoke, he spoke in a cocky tone. He didn't completely trust the Rahk, though he saw that Mar'jik didn't seem like a complete loyalist. The inventor entered into flight mode and took off towards the school, but he saw something out of the corner of his eye, and decided to investigate.

What he landed into horrified him.

    Phantom-On-The-Water.

    It was destroyed.

  15. The Corpus chat?

    I thought that got disbanded...

I didn't even know that existed. Why does no one tell me this stuff?

Lucid's not delusional, she just sees life with ultimate clarity. It's most everyone else in the universe who suffers delusions.

Riiiiiiiiight. Not like Lucid's crazy or anything. Now all we need is a 4th wall break starring everyone's favorite rainbow rahk talking to Johnrahk directly. Then yelling an insult at Ghidora.
